Costa Coffee in North Somerset

Spent many happy hours in this costa with coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. Staff were always so friendly and welcoming

Short queue meant we got served quickly. Food and service was excellent. Cake counter very inviting and full of tasty treats

Because the other cafe was packed this one was fairly empty. We where served quickly. Food and drinks very good

Dropped in for a coffee and cake after an hour’s journey to get there. Great service as always and social distancing clearly marked out. Lovely cup of coffee and even had a toasted sandwich which was delicious.

The manager is so nice and great at her job , very pleasant to deal with and allways having a laugh and smile , very pleased with my coffee and experience

The woman who runs this costa is rude to customers and staff on a regular basis. I have witnessed her shouting at staff members in the office on more than one occasion. Which is why I felt it necessary to voice this concern. Won’t be investing my money into this cafe any more. Am local and visit Cadbury’s once a week.

We usually have a coffee here before we look around the garden centre. The staff are much better than they used to be and are in fact very friendly and efficient. The coffee is okay, is hot and to the usual Costa standard. No complaints about this coffee stop but to be fair it is only an average cup of coffee at an average price.

The staff don’t listen to the customers. I had to explain the order three times to the lady. Five people working behind the counter meaning the tables weren’t getting cleared and rubbish on the floor.

On our visits to the garden centre we enjoy a morning coffee here.we also use it for occasional family get togethers plenty of room for our group and a good selection of drinks and snacks for different ages.

Have visited this Costa for a number of years wih my husband and grandchidren. It has a great atmosphere, is well run and the cleanest Costa I have ever been to. The staff are also cheerful and helpful, (particularly Lesley). Would definitely recommend a visit.

Friendly, cheerful and efficient staff. Usual range of Costa hot / cold drinks, snacks and light meals. Has a pleasant atmosphere about it

Emma & Richard plus a great crew provide a friendly excellent service. We believe that we are in the position to rate this cafe as we go EVERY morning ( Seven days a week) for coffee and toast.

I decided to do my work in this Costa today as I thought a change of scenery would be nice. A well kept cafe that I have no complaints over. I only ordered an americarno but the lady with blonde hair on the till couldn’t be any nicer. Just wanted to say thank you to her and to the rest of the staff as I could see you all running around working hard! Definitely coming back here again!

We went for a takeaway coffee today shortly before advertised closing time and were told that they had to shut early as a machine was being cleaned. Similarly, a few weeks ago we were told we couldn’t have hot sandwiches as the grill was being cleaned. As other have said - they close off areas of the cafe way before closing time as there only priority is to close on time and escape. The store manager Emma was rude, unhelpful and didn’t even deem it necessary to apologise for our wasted trip - wasted because they closed early! Her attitude said it all. Please avoid and spend your money elsewhere - even if you do visit, it’s likely a “machine will be being cleaned”

Great coffee, friendly staff always helpful and happy. Served with a smile. Food delivered to your table promptly. We visit here regularly and have always had a enjoyable time. I really want to say a big thankyou to all the costa staff, keep up the good work you are all so appreciated by loyal customers like us. Big pat on the back to you all.

I visit here often with my son and my parents. The staff are always very helpful, friendly and efficient. I very much look forward to my Costa at Cadbury! Thank you everyone!

We really like this costa and visit regularly, not only for the coffee/hot chocolate but for the staff too. They are always happy and friendly!

Great service and coffee. I usually visit two different coffee shops a day and this is one of favourites. It may be another Costa you find everywhere but the staff make it very welcoming to me and my daughter

Lots of young people serving today who were definitely not being shown a great example of customer service by the older staff.

Probably the worst coffee in the world. My decaf black americano tasted of hot water. My husbands caffeinated was hardly any better. When I spend £2.40 on a cup of coffee I expect it to taste of coffee. Not much of a friendly atmosphere here either. We couldn’t find an outside area either which is a shame at a garden centre!

I came in today 8/05/19 and I’m exceptionally impressed with how professional they are. They were very greeting and made me feel very comfortable here. I recommend coming here any day of the week

This was never one of my favourite Costa’s but it was convenient when visiting the garden centre. The staff I always found distracted and non customer focussed but today they did appear more in touch with us their customers. Coffee is average but at least better than in the main garden centre. It is convenient.

Went in today and most of the coffee shop was closed off even though it was open for other hour or so and for the third time the woman didn’t give me my change don’t think much on the customer service

After a 60 mile drive it was a welcome treat. The staff where friendly and helpful, cafe was clean tidy and inviting. Highly recommended

Having read the review titled “Grumpy” I feel that I should say something in reply. I have just realised that I was there on that occasion and witnessed the event. The child was running around the seats where customers would be seated and the member of staff just asked the child quite nicely, not to run around on the seats. This resulted in tears from the child and the parents complaining, when they should have apologised not complained and kept their child under control.

Barely a smile from some of the staff. The younger staff were nice but the middle ages women were rude and grumpy. Costa will be getting a formal complaint from me in how they spoke to my 3 year old son. The manager is hostile and seems she accepts her staff to be the same way. We will not be returning and will advise family members to do the same. They even started cleaning cobwebs around us while we were eating, making us feel unwelcome. Why work in the hospitality industry if you can't be hospitable. Judging by the other reviews it seems Costa should do some investigating.

A family catch up with us being from overseas. A first coffee at Costa and it was lovely. Service could be a bit friendlier but it was pleasant and clean. Would return.

Had awful customer service the first time I visited and when I received it again the second time, I had to write a review. As I ordered my drink the barista didn’t even look me in the eye to ask what I wanted and as I waited for y drink, the barista making my drink said “I’m gonna stab myself in a minute” and was in a terrible mood. She then went on to knock loads of ingredients all over the floor, swore under her breath until her manager had to chaperone her into the next room. When we received our drink they looked poor. Not happy.

Stopped for coffee and cake before heading off to our destination. Clean and tidy, as are most Costa's . Friendly staff.

We were visiting the garden centre so of course had to visit here - glad we did, lovely seating areas, good choice of cakes unlike some costas, despite it being busy the staff moved the queue along as quickly as they could.

This is a very light and airy coffee shop, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The best Costa thatI have visited.

This Costa is a good place to sit and work as a change from the library! The staff are very friendly and there is always a nice buzzing atmosphere.

The coffee, tea and cakes were very much up to standard and the ambience is fairly pleasant but it all stops there. When we arrived the tables were littered with dirty dishes with no one in sight. As for being served - I stood in front of the counter for five minutes before anyone deigned to take my order even though there was no queue. This would have been bad enough and maybe excusable if they were rushed off their feet but they weren’t. At one stage whilst I was waiting I counted no less than SEVEN Baristas behind the counter - all either chatting to each other or staring into space without a thought for their customers. Not good enough - must do better.

Visited yesterday with my husband and well behaved dog, there are approximately 4 tables where owners and dogs are allowed to sit just outside the main seating area.

As this Cadbury Garden Centre is so big, a coffee shop inside the building is the ideal location for a break. Although the garden centre does have a restaurant, they tend to serve more main meals. If a visitor is just after a drink with a sandwich or a toastie, then this is ideal.
