Costa Coffee in Bedford

It was good, typical Costa experience.

Rude staff and consistently bad coffee, vile place. Shame as it used to be good

Met a friend for a quick catch up and enjoyed a lovely Chocolate Orange Muffin. queue was medium with an average wait time. cafe was fairly busy but we found a clean table for two. Plenty of free parking and lots of shops to look around on site

Dont go here if you want to relax and enjoy a drink and food. There's a tiny!!!!! cark park sign saying 2hrs. It has 3 other businesses on the car park and most of these car parks are 3hrs. BEWARE!!!!!! I got a £60 fine and if I wanted to appeal it went up to £100!!!!!! WATCH OUT!!!!!!!

This is without a doubt the most unhygienic restaurant I have ever set foot in. I have tried to notify them as I don't like public complaints before contacting someone directly but the form does not work.

The staff should get improved, Jasmine was just starring at me at the till and waiting for me to tell her what I want to order making me feel like I owed her something,there was just one lady preparing everything and with a very long queu. I was shocked.

Owen served us today on the drive thru and was 10/10! Best barista at costa

Only one (polite) guy on the till who was doing everything by himself, from taking order to making drinks, while there was a long queue. Store is clearly understaffed, management get your act together!

Nice coffee but no lunch like sandwiches

Although the coffee and panini were good, the tables were grubby. Needs a proper clean.

Same old Costa. Perfectly drinkable coffee, I would however prefer to visit a good independent coffee shop.

Went there less than an hour ago and my partners drink was cold by the time we got back to the car. Mine was nice and got but had no flavour. I tried stiring it cause I thought it had sunk to the bottom but that wasn't the case. Tasted like steam and the cardboard cup it was in. Will not be going back.

Why is a toasted sandwich only toasted on one side? Not that impressed

Just been into the Bedford interchange and I wanted to thank the two members of staff working today. It was busy but received service with a smile, a great Latte and a bap! Not to mention a little excitement over a white chocolate star. Great staff and lovely food. Merry Christmas!

Costa is Costa good service as you'd expect

Pretty horrendous! 3 staff members to take orders, fill the orders, clear and clean tables and restock behind the counter. Virtually every table had used crockery on it and customers were having to move it onto other tables themselves. Management needs to sort out staffing, as this was not acceptable. It was a very busy Saturday afternoon, so lots if money being taken. Get your act together Costa management!

Nice atmosphere , freindly staff

By far the best 'real' coffee of all the big coffee chains plus their special toasts are like nectar to your taste buds! Try their Wiltshire Ham & Cheddar Toastie or a fresh croissant for fewer (but still naughty) calories. Or a selection of fresh panini's-Tuna Melt, yes please! I'm diabetic so rarely have any of their sweeter offerings but you're spoilt for choice of pastries, brownies, shortcake or slice of amazing cakes. On top of that they sell reusable coffee/tea cups (Lg & Sml), get your own huge Costa cappuccino cup for home & even their blends of coffees in pods or pouches of grounds (which I prefer). Want more? For some reason they keep closing earlier and earlier. Says in google it shuts at 7:30 but went today and it was shut before 4. it’s a shame really, lovely staff and drink but never open long enough

My photo is of one table, all the others were the same. Bank holiday Monday the place was busy, but the service was extremely slow. The member of staff was taking his sweet time with all orders. The tables and general feel of the place was messy and dirty, the cutlery provided was all dirty despite the staff member changing them a couple of times. It would be nice to get service with a smile, the service provided here was with a massive grump, all we got was "what would you like" "how are you paying" the rest of the time was him shaking his head and muttering to himself. The store owner needs to have a look at this store and provide more staffing to help the beleaguered staff.

Terrible. Was passing by and popped in around lunchtime to get a latte what a waste of time. There was one guy serving taking orders and making drinks. There was a long queue. About 10 mins later I left with a latte that was weak. I could have made a better drink using cheap coffee from a budget supermarket. There was a McDonald's close by, should have gone there. First and last visit.

Always out of stock in cold brew and dirty toilets

Company offer too good to go bags, however never have any items to put into the bags they have sold. People have wasted their time and energy to collect bags for them to go “oh yeah, the bags go up automatically, we don’t have anything to give you” this isn’t good enough

Went to one Costa coffee, near M&S only to find it was being refurbished! Then back over roundabout to other Costsa Coffee and stood waiting for 2 toilets, engaged, no notice on doors! after asking found they were out of order, waiting for engineer! so not very good

Good all round service but, the seats and store are beginning to show their age with torn furniture and broken fixings making it look run down.

It's an old cafee and needs upgrading. The staff is polite and respectfulm

They no longer sell emmental and mushroom toasties. Even less selection for the vegetarians. Well disappointed. Rubbish!!!!

Only ok experience! Signing iffy for covid. Confusing one way system...arrows pointing you to end of till and people were squeezing passed you coming the the way in the queue. Not cleaar at all. Slow service only two staff taking orders/making coffee/heating takeaways/cleaning tables. Took ages!!

Walked in, was placing my order but lady serving was rude so left and went to NEXT coffee shop instead!!

Good social distancing and good coffee

I normally love Costa salted caramel hot choc, but for some reason it was really bland from this particular store and didn't taste like salted caramel at all.

Paid more for a smoother latte and didn't notice the difference. Very pricey.. Prefer Mcdonald coffee and so much cheaper!

Staff were awesome it was a shame that the app let them down.

One of the best costa I've been to, the place is always clean and tidy. The staff is amazing, especially Salv who does the best flat white in town. highly recommended.

Seems understaffed, there was nowhere to sit as none of the empty tables had been cleaned let alone disinfected.

The coffee and cake were ok but the staff were rude. I know the need to complete track n trace details put staff under new pressure but work with your customers guys. I was new to the app and I'm sight impaired. I carry a white stick.

Haven’t visited here for a short while.... I think it’s safe to say that I won’t be recommending this place here for a coffee. Service is very slow, staff here don’t seem to be friendly. They don’t seem happy for customers to drive through for coffee and cake. Difficult to receive food through the hatch via a huge crete(not necessary) Try over over the road or the town centre.

Drinks were really nice, one staff member was rather rude and abrupt and some of the seat cushions were so stained, they looked very grubby. My granddaughter even said they looked like they had bird poop on!

We dropped off both our cars for a service , the garage is next to Costa. We knew with the current Covid pandemic we would not be able to eat in or order in the restaurant. The drive through was open and empty but because we did not have a car we were rudely told we would not be served!

This is a good Costa offering good food and service in a relaxed atmosphere.We took advantage of the lunchtime meal deal and really enjoyed the Pigs and Blanket Mac and Cheese and a Tuna/Mayo Panini.The coffee was excellent and we enjoyed everything we had.

OK, its just a standardised branded coffee shop lacking invividuality and what have you but my family and I like Costa. What they do, they do well, for us at least. Tasty rolls with sausage and bacon and some nice cakes.

The costa over the retail park needs to clean up ! The soft chairs are disgusting and need a wash !!!

Great place for a coffee break while at the interchange. The baristas will make your drink however you like so don't be afraid to ask!

I was very impressed with this Costa. Service was friendly, welcoming and efficient. Drinks were really good and all round good service. Good to see that tables were kept cleared and cleaned. Would revisit without hesitation.

Visited Costa Coffee in Biggleswade today. Good service, friendly staff and well managed. One of the better Costa shops we have visited.

My white hot chocolate was beautifully presented and it tasted great too! The Tiffin and salted caramel millionaire piece was also delicious!

Coffee is usually on point, although one coffee today had to be returned, staff were very helpful and understanding and made it again fresh. Food is acceptable overall, however, could be improved.

Friendly staff always good coffee but the whole shop needs a good clean. Dirty and dusty on a lot of the fixtures. The comfy chairs are disgusting. Tables dont seem to be cleared away or wiped down very often.

Now far be it from myself to criticise the good people people of costa for getting up early to supply the good people of Bedford coffee, but when for a third time we embark on caffeine sustenance to find they were not open as the sign An google instructed. Extreme dissatisfaction as we had traveled off the route we were on to visit only to be let down Booooo costa poor show had to go all the way to the costa along rope walk

Up to the usual Costa standard. Seemed to be operating at close to capacity today though. A few more people and I got the impression things might start to slip.

I came in early afternoon, was extremely busy with not enough staffing levels for the capacity of people coming through the door. The staff on was still friendly and very genuine even though you could see they were exhausted and it was only 1pm

Very nice beverage, but in need of a really good clean. The wrought iron decor actually had cobwebs on them and woodwork hadn't seen a cloth in ages.

Was very disappointed that the chai latte has changed. The new version tastes awful. Please bring back the powder version.
