Terrible service waited 35 minutes to get served only 1 person serving and all the tables weren't cleaned I wouldn't recommend going here for a drink

OK well the coffee was good. The service ... less so. At first we were completely ignored while the "barista" had a long conversation with someone. Eventually our order was taken - with no welcome. And when I reported the appalling state of the toilet the staff member concerned wandered off to share a joke with someone.

This is one of the best Costa I've visited in UK and majority of staff know how to make a good coffee esp. Flat White which, at £3.15 should always be good.

The whole place could do with a deep clean, looking rather tired and grubby. It is a shame as the coffee is nice.

Visited today before lunch 4 adults,one in a wheelchair,one with walking sticks.Been to many Costa's and never had issue but here never again.On entering we needed to move a small table to get solid back seat access for the bi-lateral amputee to move from his wheelchair into.Lady next to us sorry but she looked at us like dirt,felt like saying er you got an issue with us being here ?? i did not as sorry dad hates being a burden which he is not but i know he would have been upset had he seen look she gave him.Then at till the older lady on it,attitude awful,and sorry but if you do not liek job leave as she got 0 customer service skills ..Spent money on coffees,cakes,scones and sorry there no sweetener due to supplier,no teacakes - And when we asked for knife for scone my god think we asked for earth .Sorry but maybe she needs trained in Cramlington,Moerpeth,Newcastle branch as they acgtually treat customers correctly .

Came here for lunch while visiting Newcastle. The place wasn't very clean at all including the toilets. Food was so so. Good coffee and no green tea was available. Wouldn't recommend.

Never again, the staff are very rude, and they don't even know what they are doing, need some serious training in there, think I will just stick to the St James one.

Visited last week. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Coffee and food excellent. Very clean and safe.

Lazy staff. Middle of the day did not want to turn the filter machine on (maybe understandable). When reluctantly and rudely served the coffee tasted burnt and horrible. Don’t bother coming here. If I could give zero stars I would

Appalling service today. Waited 15 minutes to be served. Asked the lady serving if they had any unsweetened almond milk. She had no idea what I was talking about & thought I wanted almond syrup so asked the man making the coffee to speak to me because she couldn't hear me. He stated they only had one kind of almond milk. I asked again but yes is that sugar free? He stated they don't do sugar free. I replied the last time I got my coffee there the server made sure the milk was sugar free & actually showed me the carton. He then told me to have a seat while he got the catalogue out with ingredients!! I suggested maybe he could just have a quick look on the carton for me? No he would have to check the catalogue! I sense he was being sarcastic and deliberately difficult. I said thanks but no thanks and left. I think staff need to realise that some customers may have certain intolerances but still enjoy Costa coffee. The dairy alternatives are on the menu board so reading the carton surely is not a lot to ask? I visit Costa very regularly and have never left empty handed or as fuming as I felt today.

Sempre un piacere mangiare da Costa! Personale gentile e vasta scelta come sempre. Locale molto carino a due passi dalla metro e dal Novotel.

Lunchtime, I called in for my usual flat white, I was peckish, ordered a mozzarella and tomato panini, surprised at how good it was tbh, with a bag of crisps or some fruit, all together it was under a fiver. Fantastic. Coffee bang on, well done costa.

Well living in the area it’s nice while walking my chocolate Labrador to grab a brew. With Starbucks the only one that does the options are none. However today without the dog we called in only to find kids running around while people carried trays of hot drinks then they jumped on the seats with dirty shoes. Would you explain to me the difference between the later and why my dog can’t sit on the floor next to me.

I find that Costa coffee seems to have less and less taste. Unless I pay for an extra shot in my Late, all I can taste is milk. Used to also love their toasted sandwiches, but recently they have come with soggy bottoms and only toasted on the top.

20 minutes to get served being interrupted by other customers making stupid demands of the ill trained staff. They really need both assertiveness and customer care training.

Visit here on a regular basis. The drive thru staff know my order, all I have to say is ‘my usual please‘ !! Quick and efficient with the best latte I’ve had!

lovely hot chocolate and it's near B&M, Iceland and Lidl. So after doing your shopping it's worth it to sit , chill and have a coffee with loads of food and pastries available.

A menudo nos detenemos en el mcdonalds de al lado para el desayuno, y miramos emocionados como se construyó esta costa. Desafortunadamente, nuestra primera visita fue tan decepcionante. Visitamos un fin de semana, cuando se inauguró, solo para ser ignorado por la chica rubia en el mostrador por bastante tiempo mientras miraba su teléfono. Otro miembro del personal que fue más amable fue poner las mesas afuera. ¡El servicio recibido no mejoró desde entonces, y la máquina de café estaba absolutamente sucia! Debieron haberlo dejado sucio desde el día anterior ya que éramos los primeros clientes. El café tampoco fue mejor. Nos marchamos completamente decepcionados, y ahora hemos regresado al McDonalds al lado para un servicio más amable, mejor y más barato café. Qué decepción, ¡qué vergüenza para ti, Costa!
