Costa Coffee in Rotherham

Makes great tea and hot chocolate.

Lovely latte nice and hot. Friendly staff.

I found the one clean table!! it wasn't busy loads of staff stood talking and not interested in customers i sat for 40 mins and not one attempt was made to clear and wipe down anything, including behind the counter!

Asked for a cup a tea and it came with bits in so asked for a replacement and got the exact same thing again but received poor customer service as the staff was rude about it and tried to blame the machine. And it cost £2.65 at that. Ridiculous if you ask me.

Nothing much to say. It's OK for a drink before an appointment or for a walk off the ward. But understaffed tables are often cluttered with oirs from last users

This was inside Rotherham Hospital. They are fast at serving but gets a bit cramped while you wait for your drink. Clean as inside the hospital.

No food just coffee but had to wait in the que after ordering !

Dirty tables, expensive, often told can't have China cups when drinking inside. Slow service. Drinks as usual Costa standard.

The worst costa I have been to. The service here is the worst. With staff members disputing their shifts and pay and talking down about working for costa, many items out of stock. I mean there is a time and place for everything not while in the process of making orders for customers. Also if the staff is not happy or is having a lack of work ethic the management should rethink about hiring as it’s not fair on customers. Especially in a busy hospital. We’re service and Food should be priority

Very busy Costa in Rotherham hospital but well managed with plenty of staff to deal with the demand when it's busy.

Unfortunately this visit was my worse the service the hot chocolate plus the unavailability of any seating made this my last time I will be going to this Costa.

Usual Costa menu. A long wait for drinks to be made.

Great place for a coffee and cake. Very comfy clean environment. Inside Next Home store. Also drive through and sit in in same store car park. Good selection of hot toasties and snacks. Very pleasant, friendly staff with quick service.

I had a lovely cappuccino and a sausage bap my other half had a pot of tea and a bre and bacon sarnie. It was very nice. Would highly recommend it

Shouldn't be called Costa coffee more people would go if you changed name to Costa bomb

Worst costa i have ever been to the one handing my food was not wearing gloves did not wash her hands the one making the drinks made me the wrong one and no of it was a clean and tidy environment completely opposite for what I expected especially for it being in a hospital setting this is disgusting and needs changing.

Service was terrible, don't think I will be going into the Costa coffee at Rotherham hospital again.

Had Chi Latte which was £4 for a medium and tasted awful. The place was filthy and floor had yesterdays left overs from customers. You have to enlarge Photos to see how bad it is! Staff however were kind and chatty.

Sandwich I had was Luke warm and coffee wasn't that hot which is a shame, staff seem to be all over the place, which isn't normal for this coffee shop but it may have just been a off day. Normally reasonable on all fronts

I got an appointment @ Rotherham hospital so while there i purchased a drink of Tea it tasted stale & musty not very nice at all so i took back to counter & mentioned it to the person who was On the till & the only response i got was we haven't had any one else come back with any complaints & said she would have to charge me again if i wanted another ! After paying the first time round i felt it wasn't worth it & said it doesn't matter & left it at that it's very expensive to get anything from Costa hence the name Costa lot money for what got

They have a great selection of drinks, cakes, and sandwiches.

There's no excuse to be so slow in a hospital setting! People have medical emergencies and need food. I'm hypoglycemic, in great pain and hadn't eaten all day, trying to get seen at hospital. There are NO grab and go choices, one person on staff chatting with staff, queue wrapped around stand. 15 minutes standing and twenty minutes for food can equal medical emergency! I needed to take medication with food, then had to wait ten more minutes to wait for scalding hot food to cool. A customer had to buy my food as I was in distress ..be aware of your surroundings!

Ok coffee but frequently tables full of used crockery.

Pricing has risen at such a pace that Costa is now as expensive, if not more expensive than its competition. A decent coffee, but not worth the price anymore.

Staff are very slow and a little rude. Food is also over priced and limited options… but it’s the Hospital so what choice do you have?

Great location when you're waiting on someone. The prices are standard but sadly no plugs or places to charge your phone when waiting a long time.

It's a Costa so it's pretty much what you'd expect of any other Costa. The lovely chap working Sunday 27th Feb helped me, a stressed out upset in-patient with his enormous patience trying to sort out a Google payment on my phone. I got there in the end, thank you so much, excellent service. Coffee wasn't bad either! :)

All the seating and you are not allowed to sit down. I get it this fecking COVID we are staying to get back to normal

Usual Costa store. Sometimes they lack of stock for extras such as cinnamon or some syrups. However, it's nice to have a decent coffee shop at Rotherham Trust.

In the hospital complex but still doing takeaway food and drink

First time takeaway, after 6 months lockdown. Place was quiet, obviously, but service was as good as usual and cappuccino was as tasty as I remembered!

Nice coffee it was nice go out find somewhere to get coffee in these times. The coffee was very nice.

Slow service due to the lack of staff. Tables not cleared and regulary cleaned down. When i asked for a clean table I was snapped at saying they were short staffed

I really liked the hot chocolate, but the service was awful! We were not spoken to politely...we had to repeat our order. The lady serving us couldn't event get my husbands coffee right. We asked for our food to be heated...it was left to the side till we asked again to which we received snarls...hated it!

Xmas drinks ok choice but it's not eggnog. Starbucks wins this round.

Staff Abrupt, nearly threw my coffee at me and told a couple off for being at the wrong end of the queue.

Lovely coffees from here. Food is very expensive for what you get though.

I enjoy having a hot chocolate from here. They make a excellent drink.

The coffee was ok but I could get better at many places for half the price honestly . Went to pay and I was bombarded with many questions / . Would you like to add to your coffee with pastries ,this , that and the other . No thank you I replied . The answer from the waitress was " Suit yourself then " . If this is Costa`s staff training then shame on you .

3.9 stars is about right. Staff look like they have been given lemons to suck though.

Iced salted caramel machete got the wrong 4 times and said it dosent exist what I'm asking for iv had the same drink from the same place for months with no problem but the lady with blonde hair was rude and not friendly at all and said we never made that drink I said that's the only drink I ever have from here made us feel horrible giving us mushed ice and milk with toffee in a cup completely wrong wouldn't give it any stars if I could

Staff great, hot chocolate brill, chocolate cake smashing but quite pricey.

Nice place to pick up a coffee &cake lovely &Staff very helpful, will help you to your table, if needed.

Went and sat down while my wife ordered our drinks and food, couldn't believe there was a joiner in doing repairs near the till area, there was dust flying all over the place from him using a handheld sander also a thin layer of dust had settled along the floor,then he started too use a filling compound which had a strong smell too it, all the time this was happening nothing on the counters was covered up, why this could not have been done while closed I'll never know, so very unprofessional.

Over priced and coffee taste like mud.
