Costa Coffee in Liverpool

Stood there for close to ten minutes whilst completely ignored by 2 staff right in front of me. Queue built up behind me. Zero acknowledgement to any of us from either staff. Never had such poor service in my life. Decided to walk away in the end and will buy lunch elsewhere

I always go to Costa Coffee in Queen Drive with my mate we always had a great experience there The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The environment was spotless and well-maintained, which added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. It's a perfect spot to enjoy a coffee and relax. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for great service in a clean and inviting setting

Best costa staff. It can get really busy but that is mainly around school hours and match days which is understandable in my opinion. They will always work through as fast as possible and still make a great coffee.

Horrible servicio y actitud. Dos mujeres en la caja, con pinta de que no quieren estar allí y absolutamente no se molestaron ni siquiera en ser amables o educados o simplemente profesionales. Uno trató de darme un croissant que estaba tirado en el servicio desordenado hasta en lugar de en el lugar cubierto para los croissants. No lo calenté y no pregunté si quería calentarlo. Como ya estaba ocupada con otros clientes, le pregunté a la mujer que estaba haciendo mi café si podía calentarlo. Ella dijo “sí” pero no estaba haciendo nada. Después de que terminó con mi café le pregunté de nuevo si podía calentar el croissant y ella dijo “Usted le ha preguntado (a la otra mujer) ella misma” y le dio la espalda. Croissant se ve empapado y sabe mal. La única razón por la que fui de nuevo a este horrible lugar es que no hay otro suficientemente cerca de la zona con el wifi y resulta que tengo que estar en este barrio una vez por semana y no puedo evitarlo. Ojalá abriesen el café Nerón. Esta sucursal de Costa es absolutamente horrenda.

Costa App reader at till has been out of order for a couple of months. Very annoying as I have free coffees that I cannot claim at this store Also, I have to save the receipt and get my 'Bean' points added at another store. Staff also annoyed as they have to take the complaints from other annoyed customers. A member of staff said technicians had been out, but didn't know how to fix it. Come on Costa, get your act together!

first order was spot on, 2nd time I ordered I wanted egg and mushroom bap I got cheese and tomato toastie, 3rd time I ordered wanted to try egg and mushroom bap again but what I got was an egg toastie, the rest of the order was right both times

He estado viniendo aquí cada semana durante los últimos 2 meses, pero no voy a volver. Es un servicio al cliente horrible y el lugar está sucio. Cada vez, las tazas estaban sucias, las mesas no se limpiaban a menos que se lo pidieran, y hoy pusieron mi comida en una bandeja sucia con café derramado por alguien y restos de comida en ella. También son extremadamente lentos - tuve que ir dos veces hoy para pedir mi pedido y ni siquiera comenzaron a calentar el cruasán. En realidad hay bastante gente detrás de la caja (no es que les falte personal), simplemente parece que no saben lo que están haciendo.

Always enjoy coming to Costa, and love the staff in the Queens Drive. My son wasn't sure what to order and they made some tasters for him which was so lovely.

My favourite place to enjoy morning coffee, staff are all lovely and cheers my day with their friendly smile, food is nice too

Great coffee, worst car park in the world.

Received the wrong order, with a different name on the receipt. Driver took it back to get my order and they refused him the order.

Hygiene was 0 stars, dirty plates and spoons. We asked the staff to remove some dirty dishes and they gave us a cloth to clean it ourselves. We asked for our brownie to be heated but she said that she was not responsible if it got burnt. Definitely not coming here again.

Great service and lovely airy space with easy parking. Making down only for complete lack of vegan cake despite many good options in the wider Costa universe.

Costa points card wasn't working apparently been broke for a month or so .so couldn't get free coffee or points tables were not clean but staff were polite and nice .

we wanted to come and sit with our friends and the staff goes that we can’t stay unless we buy something and then our friend buys something and they say we all have to buy something and she says it’s because of new management and we ask for babycinos which are free and they tell us that we can’t unless we buy something. THIS IS COSTA IS VERY BAD STAFF PLEASE CHANGE OR I WILL COMPLAIN AGAIN! I WILL NEVER VOME BACK

Ordered 3 things one being a toastie and theyve sent a completely different toastie..how hard is it to get a simple order right? Its spicy as well so I can't eat it!!! Wasn't pleased with how the mac n cheese looked either it looked messed with and wasn't a nice crust on the top it was messy. Not pleased at all with the staff for ruining my morning.

Ordered 7 drinks one was delivered (not right one), with a toastie. Told the driver that it wasn’t my order he said I’m just the driver. He refused to take the order back

I love this store as it is close to home and often go for a walk with my daughter for a frostino and cakes. Over the last few months it seems to have really gone down and the store isn't very clean and the toilets are disgusting the staff are run of their feet. Also we miss the lovely young man Ross who was a fantastic barista and was kind and friendly to the customers. I am fully aware who hard Helen and the team are working to run this branch but please bring back the lovely Ross to break up the all female team he did really brightened up my visits.

Coffees are fine, service reasonable but the restaurant is filthy. All the chairs are stained, tables often not cleared or wiped. Dark and gloomy at the back of the restaurant.

Plenty of space. Friendly staff but place is an absolute tip. I’ve been here twice and I’ve had to clean my table myself with baby wipes and all the seats are stained. Always rubbish on the floor too. Need to put more staff on to clean.

Went in to have a cup of tea and cake with my son. The staff talked to each other and another colleague/friend who was not working at the time each on a different side of the counter. I had a young child with me and I was alone, they could have offered to carry the tray to a table or bring the drinks over as it was not busy (I was the only customer in the queue), needless to say no offer was made. I was ignored while my drinks were made and no eye contact was even made as the tray was shoved across the countertop in my direction. Also the toilets have a code on them so you can only use if you have a receipt. My son was desperate for the toilet, and he is nearly three and recently toilet trained, and if not for a kind stranger offering thier code, he would have had an accident. Not great service at all

A lovely little Costa, It looks small on the outside but when inside it goes right back with a modern interior and plenty of seating and table choices Staffed by a team more than happy to help. If you're meeting friends, business contacts, just need some dinner or simply just want to escape the madness of every day life this is the perfect place to stop off and relax.

2 different coffees ordered would have been useful for them to be labelled for if. Turkey toastie and Brie bacon panini both very bready with meagre filling. Panini difficult to bite after being heated ..Disappointing

Completely incorrect order. Have had to reorder with uber eats as incorrect orders only seem to happen with just eat.

Absolutely appalling, understaffed, dirty, and the staff that was there were not interested, if I could give it minus I would, I don’t know how it keeps open, it needs cleaning behind the counter, it’s filthy, and the staff are not interested, to busy on their phones, really Costa, needs looking at.

First time ordering for a while. All 3 of my food items where missing & the number on Just Eat is for a guy that hasn't worked there since 2022. That's £12 down the drain.

The drink was all over the food and the whole 2 items was damaged now got no food or drink thanks to the delivery driver so got no money to order anything to eat thank you

Not enough staff - just two. Long queue - whilst waiting noticed that all overhead lights - the shades - were filthy with dust and so too was the till, payment machine and other fixtures. Needs a good clean.

How people get it so wrong I ask for 3 apple and ruhbarb refreshers and I get 3 totally. Different things never asked for shocking service some one needs shooting

I’m not sure that this is being done on purpose but I order from them everyday and I always say I’ll give them another chance but every single order has missing or wrong items. It’s unacceptable to order over £30 worth of food and drinks and to be sent only 2 drinks and when you try to contact them there is no way of getting through.

I relaxed and enjoyed my coffee, although thought it was a little expensive. Nevertheless this was my first attempt at ordering an item through my phone so I am glad it was successful. The delivery staff member was also very pleasant. So I would at some point practice and order again by phone. Regards Sonya.

This is franchise and I find it has an atmosphere in terms of some staff. They offer the use of the app and free drink when you get your stickers/stamps on the app but it’s always not working for the redeem. This is the 3 time I’ve been in and the sane paper note is on the till (3/4 months old) that they can’t redeem. I travel all over for work and this is my local as it’s by the m&s I use. Out of principal I would never use this shop. Also read other reviews someone with a lot more knowledge than me has said why the coffee has gone down hill by sublimating products used ie milk.

The food was okay the toastie looked as if it had been launched in the box as it was just falling apart. The drinks where good though. Even though they where half empty

this costa is a franchise so you may pay 5-10 p more but staying that it was well worth in one of the best hot chocolates and lattes we have had looks quite small from the outside but surprising large inside very well run and very organised

This costa used to be my fave place to go when it 1st opened, but i think covid has left its mark, staff are hard to retain coming and going all the time although theres a couple that are very good, The cleanliness has declined so bad, toilets are filthy tiles on the walls have not been cleaned for ages, the furniture is badly stained to, floors dont look like they get cleaned regular either. The food and coffee!! this is were it goes down hill, theres hardly any stock at all and when you challenge it the manager just shrugs her shoulders and makes an excuse up, also the alternative milks are vile, used to be Alpro now its Aldez which is coco colas brand, its disgusting, How come other Costa’s stock is fine (edge lane) again when you challenge staff there not interested, I can honestly say its such a shame what started off as a great place is now declining, i choose Starbucks now any day over costa

Ordered a drink, bacon roll and cake only received the drink!

Only delivered on time because delivery time kept changing Bacon rolls were hard and dry as if standing around too long. Cartons designed to keep food hot were not folded down so food was not hot. Asked for 1 sausage and one bacon roll but got a scribbled note saying that no sausages left so bacon roll sent . The white coffee mug was unstable and squashed and lid and inner foil popped off spilling coffee everywhere including my hand and duvet cover food and wrapping. Reported this to Just Eat. Note to Costa… cardboard cups seem unsuitable because of fragility of lid attaching to cup for transporting. Cups seem firm in holder but cup weakens as I try to take hold of it around the rim to remove from holder.

Good coffee and a Bakewell tart and millionaire’s shortbread Treat at home. Not cheap.
