That’s a huge joke. Almost every day it’s closed earlier so we coming to buy a coffee and we kissing a closed doors. Don’t go there. Is a waste of time 👎🏼

I meet a friend here every couple of weeks after work for a catch up. Tonight while I am waiting to order the lovely lady behind the counter made my usual coffee before I had even placed an order and paid as she saw me in the line waiting. I am a creature of habit and always order the same drink, and she recognised me. Just so delighted this happened, amazing customer service right there!

The manger with glasses ,16/6/24, was a very hard worker whilst it was extremely busy. She should be proud of her work ethnic. Can't say the same for the bloke tho.

Served by Frankie exstremly helpful and polite. Amazing coffee and food.

We used this Costa when shopping at this retail park. The staff are so slow and laborious it's a must go to for us,each time, to see if they can put in a slower performance than the time before. Never in any coffee outlet have I witnessed 4 staff behind a counter be that slow? The adage " pay peanuts,get monkeys" doesn't come close!!

Waited ages in line...... with what looked like slow couldn't be bothered staff on duty to be told they dont have the new white chocolate whipped ice latte coz there machine not working. Like what's the point in advising new stuff if u can't have it ... stupid then then walk out to see other people drinking iced whipped drinks out side like if u couldnt be bother to make it just say .. abit like macdonalds cream machine .

The staff here is the most arrogant and careless staff. They never get the order right, are always too busy talking to each other. This is the 6th time I have ordered a drink from this branch and have asked for NO cream and every single time they ignore the request and add lots of cream. They always talk about you and giggle and work so incredibly slowly I wonder if they have a manager who cares but the service is just appalling. Below standard at best

Standard Costa offerings for food and drink - all tasty and good quality. Selection of different seating/tables available, including outdoors. Refurbished April 2023. Kept very clean and tidy, service is efficient and friendly.

Ridiculously slow service on a Saturday lunchtime. Not enough staff and queue 10 to 15 people. Very long wait to be served

I’m not one to leave reviews at all but what the hell is up with the slow service down to poor management micro managing one person to a queue of 10 while other mill around in the background. Two times in a row now I’ve been also and have ran out of oat milk. Absolutely piss poor.

Love this costa and don’t like to complain but this morning I just felt so sorry for the poor girl behind the counter. She was left on her own with the queue never less than 7 deep. You could see she was doing everything she could to keep going and this review is nothing to do with her service, if anything she was a 6*. This is to do with the way the place is run and not looking after their staff wellbeing. Please look into this

Always busy , but staff are great and get through the queue quickly , drinks , food etc are always delicious.

Went in to sit down for a coffee and a bite to eat … such disappointing service - everything was served as if it was a take away - was expecting our drinks in a proper cup with a plate for the panini and muffin we purchased - not even given a tray to carry purchases on …: not what I expect of a Costa visit!!!

Did not have a working dishwasher and expecting me to have it in a paper cup when I paid for it to have in.

Isabelle has done incredible a very busy Friday morning with the queue never less than 5 people. Throughout she never faltered, didn’t stop moving, was polite and professional.

Great store i bought a cake and coffee for the wife and i, we was going to get more food but it was very expensive.

Coffee not filled up, took ages to be served and get the drink. Empty tables, but all empty ones were full of leftover cups. No staff clearing tables or places to put after finishing your drink. Multiple people had to clear other people's stuff just to sit down.

Nice little shop but the service is diabolical!!! The manager (Isabella) is the rudest person in charge of any Costa establishment.. How about concentrating on serving one person and not 20 at once!!

We arrived just after 2pm. There were no panninis, and little choices for cakes and pastries. The only hot food on offer was ham and cheese toasties which were thrown together in a takeaway pouch despite the fact we were dining in. Very disappointed as we had enjoyed previous visits. Half an hour later,all the display shelves were fully re-stocked. Such a pity the staff failed to keep an eye on their stock

Dreadful waited between 10-25mins 2 be served as on 2 behind the counter big queue in front of me + behind me the place was dirty filthy the bin was over flowing as they was using paper bags 4 the food as no plates using paper cups as no normal cups etc 1 toilet working as the other was out of order they closed the shop as 1 of the girls had a bereavement turned alot of people away they was closing at 3.30pm then it was 2pm then as soon as people sat down after us the girl came round + said sorry we r closing u work in retail av 4 34yrs when my husband died + my dad plus my friends av,had lost family members they didn't close the shop they carried on working my condolences go out 2 her but it should av bin the girl that went home not all the staff + close the shop I av bin 2 better costa coffee shops + bin service with a smile clean friendly + better customer service

Tried a new product today Blood Orange & Yuzu Refresher Absolutely delicious I always have a frappe or hot chocolate but thought I'd go different My new favourite at Costa However paper straw did not manage great and had to pop a plastic straw in when home as paper straw got soggy

A nice Costa Coffee, but it's a little noisy, outdoor seating available will help reduce the noise. Other than that the service is good and the coffee is nice.

I recently visited Costa with my twin baby girls. The service was great and the staff member that served me even offered to bring my drink over for me as she could see I had my hands full. Not long after I finished my drink I was presented with another on the house! It was so thoughtful of her - she remarked that she knew I would be thirsty from feeding my twins. I left feeling refreshed not only from my drinks but from the kindness shown to me and encouragement to breastfeed.

Visited this place yesterday and duty manager was happy to set up a tab to pay at the end as I had client meetings. The next morning went to the counter politely asked if I can do the same, curtly told this was not possible and it should not have been done the day before.... I'm baffled... Popped in to Gregg's next door who were happy to accommodate... Madness

Popped in for a frappe with my children. Thanks God the place was pretty quiet. Friendly staff.

Decent coffee and a comfortable atmosphere

I use this branch every weekday morning, my order is normally around 8 drinks for my staff in the office and now having been in there so many times most of the staff now my order off by heart. Sharlotte and her fellow staff members are always extremely helpful and even when they are so clearly flat out busy we always receive fantastic service and always with a smile and show exactly how teamwork is done. I have used other branch's in Ashford and this is by far the best.

The coffee was weak, tasted like we had a shot between us. We won't be getting our coffee from this branch again.

We went there on the 27th December and the waitress making the coffee was really rude. Coffee wasn't great either. I'll go to Greggs next time!

Only thing is the price but thats takeaway places for you. Very expensive

Went in for a refuel, cold out so hot chocolate won. Tried the chocolate orange version, tasted nothing like a chocolate orange. £3.60 wasted but was still hot I suppose. Most of the seating was blocked off so had a choice of 1 table. Staff were friendly and talkative.

As per usual we go to Costa to get our coffee fix. Sunday 6 Nov 2022 @ 15:30. The Toblerone inspired latte was on the menu which comes with cream and sprinkles. We were told the cream was no longer available so I asked if that meant we would get a discount given that we weren't sold the drink as it should be made. We were told that wasn't an option. So just a coffee with some syrup and a mini Toblerone for the full price despite missing ingredients! Most appalling customer service from such a big brand.

Christmas Has Peaked. That's the motto. Not much of a peak on the cream! And far from peak service! SHARLOTTE was rude and condescending and seemed to take pride in the poor quality of the drinks and food she slapped down. Ignored my order and just said "that's all I heard", with half of what I said missing. Coffee grains in the coffee. Rudest Costa in Kent, by far!

Good clean branch of this chain, serving all the usual things. Pleasant staff and reasonably quick too.

Clean, quick service, friendly staff. I don't buy food in here as its expensive for what it is but there is a Greggs next door. Air con so nice and cool. Tables outside but are in the sun so when it's hot can be uncomfortable. Accessable toilets.

Extremely dirty toilet. One kept closed for staff, that might be clean I guess.

Every table was dirty and waiting to be cleared, had to clear a table myself. Found it very difficult to find a clean chair to sit on. The cleanest place was the toilet, but then the floor in there looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years.

Always had a caffeine spot for a good hot Latte. Well worth downloading the app to receive those extra little goodies like free drinks and cake. Fantastic franchise and customer service is always above and beyond.

I'm not a fan of costalot coffee, so I added one star to this review to account for any bias. I didn't have to wait long. I asked for a large flat white, but they don't do those in large. So I got a large latte at £3.40 Moments later two latte were placed near the serving orifice. It turns out one was mine. I expected them to let me know but maybe they don't do that anymore. I sat at one sticky table, but it wobbled. So I moved to a second sticky and wobbly table. The tables had been cleaned, but it's the one wet wrag and sticky spray. The latte was lava hot. Yes, I burnt my tongue too. Lava hot drinks and wobbly tables, amazing idea. Just mix in a few kids and syrupy creamy drinks too. At the price I expected one of those cheap biscuits, but no. I don't have a loyalty card, but card holders can get a free coffee after spending £27.20 on 8 coffee's. Buy a cup for £15 and that's reduced to 4 coffee's for £13.70. Top tip, buy a cup, in tkmax next door, empty costalot into it, and save pounds! It's nice to see big coffee chains protecting the environment, and entertaining to see hapless people buy the merchandise to reduce running costs and pay additional profit on top. If you really want to help the environment, order to 'eat in' and walk away with the cup. You can always bring it back. Not as good as any of the independent cafes found around Ashford. I'm only in here waiting for my wife who shops as a full-time hobby. I think she would like this cup.

I love my Thursday visit to Costa. The staff are really pleasant and Cam is a credit to you. It helps that the coffee is great too 😄

This Costs Coffee branch was a surprise to is. It is situated at a trading estate but seems to be very popular, clean and well run.

Ashford retail park .... at 9.25 (25 minutes after opening) you would expect the place to be immaculate but unfortunately it was filthy! It looked like it was being used as a builders cafe. On the upside the staff were friendly.

Always a long que. Full of youngsters serving not a lot of hand washing going on No hair nets!! Hate long hair flicking over food 🤮 Not enough staff cleaning tables, toilets absolutely disgusting. Can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like 🤢

No large cups so had to order regular, place is dirty, sticky rings on my table not wiped down, tables around me not cleared! Friendly staff though!

All good, busy but to be expected.. clean and very well stocked for later in the day. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 was staff were busy chatting amongst themselves when could have engaged more with customers.

Really good coffee shop. Plenty of seating. Pleasant and helpful staff. I love Costa hot chocolate and especially their festive ones. This year they have an after eight mint hot chocolate and muffin and a Terry's chocolate orange hot chocolate and muffin. The muffins are really good A☆ My only criticism is the hot chocolates need more orange/mint syrup in them, they only have a faint hint of flavour to them.

Very, very, very slow. Rude staff, unhelpful staff, poorly trained. The staff have no idea what they should be doing. Four members of staff behind the counter. I was waiting in line for 15 minutes to be served, by the one staff member serving customers in a very long queue. Will never use or recommend this outlet to anyone else. In fact I will tell people to avoid this outlet.

Waited for my coffee about 25 min, queue wasn’t even that bad. Have ordered NOT too hot toffee latte but they clearly didn’t care about my request as my milk was BOILING hot, I have burnt my tongue. On top of it the place is pure mess, I have never seen dirtiest milk jugs in my life. They need a good cleaning from time to time, how horrible.

I am a regular here and always find the staff friendly and welcoming. They are always happy to customise the drinks to my kids tastes. The food is well stocked and cater for different dietary requirements. It is a clean and well looked after cafe .

Being patient I wondered down for a few lattes for myself and patient who's disabled. £5.20 and somehow mine wasn't even lukewarm. Had no energy to go back down as doc was on way

They had 4 people working there, yet only one person was taking orders. Not very organised in that approach. After repeating my order 3x, they still made the wrong coffees. The bathrooms were disgusting. Not worth stopping at. If I knew there was a McDonald further down the road, I would have given it a miss.

Didn't seem very organised re: Covid. Coffee Ok, but very minimal seating, with some tables too close

Drinks were as expected but most of the tables that are still available were dirty and had not been cleaned. It was not that busy that one member of staff serving could of done the tables
