Costa Coffee in St Albans

Very conscientious about allergens, thank you to Shanaya for making sure I felt very safe ordering! Very meticulous in showing me she was cleaning everything and using new products to avoid cross contamination, even in the morning rush.

The team is incredibly friendly and can somehow remember their regular’s orders despite being very busy. Always very smiley.

Usually great but went to redeem my birthday treat and picked up a gluten free flapjack. The barista kept telling me I needed to have cake despite it saying in the terms and conditions the flapjack was fine AND it taking the money off the till. If you have any allergies or dietary conditions I would be careful. She didn't understand that gluten is in cake 🙄

I love this little Costa, staff are always so lovely and friendly, and always get my latte super quick (important as more often than not I’m rushing to get my train!) One of staff should get a special mention, I’m afraid I don’t know his name but he talked me through how to download the Costa app and remembered me a few weeks later when I visited again. As a result of getting the app I have visited Costa Coffee shops more than I used to. The big chain coffee shops sometimes get a bad press and although I am also extremely supportive of independent businesses, I want to give this little Costa in particular a special mention as it’s been a very welcome addition to St Albans station. Keep up the good work!

Best Costa I've been to, the guys doing the morning shift are legends and they are so fast. If you need a quick morning coffee before work this is the place 💪

The guys in here are so efficient and also friendly. Even with under a minute till your train arriving they are able smash out a coffee! Unbelievable!

Great coffe and most importantly great people working there, always a pleasure to pop in before my commute to London, highly recommended.
