Costa Coffee in New Forest

The cookies are awful. Arrived with the seal not in tact, all smooshed together, chocolate burnt which tastes horrible & soggy underneath. also where is the bacon on the 'bacon cheese sticks' counted 6/7 very small pieces meaning most slices were without.. dissapointing and not what i ordered.

Visit to see friends booked in advance. I got a great deal on the upgrade room with the fridge. Close to town and some lovely shops. Bus service very good also and reasonable priced. Paking at venue as always no issues small charge though in years gone by its been free.

Despite it feeling a little chaotic which was off putting initially, the food was delicious. We both had roasts and everything was so tasty (the gravy was fab). The portion size was just right and we both ate the lot. I had lamb and there was plenty of meat but my only slight criticism is that it was a little chewy in places. We will definitely be back and hopefully the overall feel will be calmer by then

We had a really nice Mother's Day. The food was fantastic and the staff really nice.

As fairly local residents, we have stopped by The Glen a few times for a pint or two in the last year, however never previously eaten here. We thought we'd give the food a go. It was a quiet Monday night however we were not disappointed. The food was utterly delicious, home cooked with generous portions and great value too. The landlord and staff were helpful and friendly. We will certainly go back again soon!
