Tried an iced whipped latte and firstly never looked liked the photos but personally found it okay. It was an escape from the usual latte but not sure I would have it again. Staff were friendly, nice and it was a clean store which wasn't overly busy.

Quick service, light and airy shop..and clean

Though it was quite busy, the tables were all clean and cleared. The staff were efficient and fulfilled the orders at speed even though there were only 2 of them. My toasties was basic but hot and prepared quickly.

Cake slice a bit thin for the price.

We've been here a few times,it's a small Costa and can be quite busy and loud,staff are friendly,and can also be loud amongst each other when not serving customers..

This store has gone downhill. I much prefer the one in central town. Staff are not always happy and store is too busy to enjoy a peaceful coffee.

Very conveniently located and easily found near Next at one of the entrances to The Beacon shopping Mall. Fairly busy when we went there just before 12, but easy enough to get a table. Usual good Costa offering, the Flat White was very good and staff OK

Asked for a plastic cup and was denied one, asked for tap water again was denied one, I then said I’d buy a bottle of water but I’d like to drink it in a plastic cup but still was denied one even though I was buying something from them. Even though I’ve seen other customers drink tap water on plastic cups I was denied one when asking. Staff member did not smile or even offer a solution. Never again to this place

I'm not a tea or coffee drinker but love the new frappes available. I've tried the strawberry and chocolate ones, both delicious. You can have a shot of coffee added or cream if you wish. Nice quick service.

Quite slow service but great coffee.

Very small costa coffee but we didn't have any trouble finding a table. The staff were very friendly and the coffee was excellent.

I like Costa coffee taste, however this branch is extremely slow serving, even though they are one of the closest ones to the station. It is not just one time experience, I have been this Costa quiet a few times and all were same, every single time you need to consider extra serving time in front of the till and while you are waiting your coffee are being made. If you are in a rush don’t bother to pop in.

I use the one by the railway station, Eastbourne. Very nice spot to be left alone as it's quiet. Lovely coffee, clean tables, no dogs.

Unlike my local Costa this was not a good experience. I stood at the counter to order in line behind one other person ( who worked in the attached Next) They were served, I was totally ignored, I waited, nothing happened, so I voted with my feet and left.

Convenient location,warm and good standard tea and coffee.

Nice and bright. I would use this instead of the Railway stn,as it is just across the road and easily accessed if you have a train to catch

Lovely little cafe in the centre of town , the Starr are always very friendly and helpful. They dp a lot of great new Christmas drinks the Terry's orange hot chocolate is amazing really nice and taste just like it

came after getting nails done, a very rude barista screaming and shouting at everyone about how he needed to be home for football. the poor waitress was trying her best and being very polite to everyone. I hope this man gets fired.

Everything seems like a normal Costa coffee then I saw the fire exit was lock 😳😳😳

I love their coffee (and sometimes a bacon or sausage roll!) and my husband, who's vegetarian, has taken a liking to their not 'bacon' roll. Staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Only wanted a coffee and cake and was rudely shouted out to show my track and trace which I had completed .there track and trace codes were in the wrong place ok if you are 7ft tall!! Only one hand sanitiser and the one way system is not right . Stressful experience and I will not be going here again and please don’t expect the cafe to be a pleasant experience .Ok if you want to go to an army camp !!!!

Covid check in via the app was made to feel stressful and staff are dismissive of constructive criticism given by other guests to fix this process. This costa was the most stressful coffee shop I've ever been to. It's good they consistently make you check inthough.

Told the woman at the desk my order, she stared at me and didn't say anything for 30 seconds so I repeated myself yet again she said nothing, she looked at my daughter then back at me and said in an annoyed tone 'what can I get you' so I repeated it for the third time and then she said to eat in, I said no and she said ok eat in. I ordered the chocolate orange hot chocolate, famously known for coming with a chocolate orange segment, it did not so I asked if they were out they said they weren't out but gave me a chocolate coin!? What even. So basically false advertising, horrible customer service and lack of cleaning, multiple tables were full of dishes.

Rude Manager I've been coming to this Costa regularly while on study leave for a professional exam with my laptop. Staff there usually nice and no problems, have enjoyed working there during the day and Wifi is good. However today was really annoyed when the manager on this particular day - woman with frizzy hair didnt get her name? came over to me when seated asking when I was going to buy something else as I had "only" bought a tea and wafer and had been sitting there over an hour. I really took exception to that, considering I've gone there every day during study leave and have bought many teas and lunches there. Let a member of staff know how I felt and then left. Would give it a 4 normally but because of that I give it a 1... Couldnt believe what happened.

Costa coffee, what a disgrace. I thought I was walking into a 3rd world coffee shop. Tables and chairs put on top of each other, floors didn't look very clean. Staff rude and nasty, Do yourself a big favour give it a miss. This place should be shut down.

Visited Costa all over the country and this branch by far the best. Super friendly staff, excellent with my children. Thanks so much guys :)

I rarely go to Costa Coffee because it is everywhere so there is no urgency to try it especially when you are trying to try all the new restaurants. I suppose this visit was worth it because it is a new branch inside NEXT but there is a smaller branch of Costa down the road near the bank. Finally went because of the Vegan smoky ham free slice & vegan cheeZe toastie. The Vegan toastie can be found in the chilled cabinet where they heat it up for you when you order it. The smoky ham inside is Quorn but the cheese they use is unknown. The colour of the ham looked like salmon as it was peachy. As for the taste, it just tasted exactly like a normal ham and cheese toastie especially the cheese which was just like dairy cheese. Hopefully the vegan toastie will stay on the menu permanently. Will return to Costa later as I discovered some other captivating drinks like the hot Ruby Chocolate and the seriously caramel and hazelnut cake. Everyone probably knows but there is another Costa Coffee at the new extension of Langney Centre.
