Costa Coffee in Eastbourne

paid nearly £40 and then no food turns up and not even given a refund or credit!

They forgot half my order and I’m not happy

Had a takeaway iced coffee. The atmosphere is not pleasant in this outlet in Hailsham. Needs revamping. The staff need retraining and to smile more often.

I was missing an item told him he stopped and then ignored me . Absolutely atrocious service . I am not tipping him as he was rude and literally drove away didn't offer any help with the fact I was missing an item I am furious. The fact that they only act nice just for a tip but I know for a fact that the drivers always rush to get out of the store and never check the bag. appalling. He acknowledged me asking him about my panini and still drove off. I am sure he only stopped,wanting a tip.

I placed my order of three items, but only one item was delivered when I checked with the delivery man he said they didn’t say anything in the shop so he kindly went back to get the rest of my order, he then came back and told me that the other two items were out of stock and i need to wait for my money back !! Not impressed I was allowed to order and waste money when it wasn’t in stock.

Ordered two drinks, only one delivered. Seems strange to accept the order and then write the drink isn't in stock on the receipt. Meaning to replace the drink, I'd need to reorder and pay delivery/service fees again.

The staff at the Langney Shopping Centre in Eastbourne are marvelous. They always seem happy and nothing is to much trouble. Well done.

Lovely coffee shop with very friendly and welcoming staff. Always greeted with a smile and made to feel at home. Service is always speedy and the coffee is made well .

Drinks straws were missing and we were delivered a lemon tart instead of bakewell

Kat and Nat are always 10/10 with service and smiles, Lauren too. Really nice atmosphere, and although the staff are often run off their feet, they've always been polite to me. Definitely 5 stars from me!

Staff standing chatting whilst I stood waiting for someone to take my order. She then proceeded to still chat to her colleague whilst taking my order as if I was an inconvenience. Not busy and I'm not surprised.

Costa Coffee in the Langney shopping centre is one of the best I have visited very pleasant staff. Excellent selection of cakes and snacks and of course great coffee.

Food just isn’t worth the price at all. So expensive for such little worth

We very cheekily nipped in a few minutes before closing time and were greeted with the warmest welcome! We were also given some freebies which was incredibly kind. Thank you!

Very poor. Tables are never cleared for customers. Staff constantly walk by dirty tables.

Phil who serves me each time I go in is an asset to your brand. He is always happy and upbeat and has a great memory. I've managed large teams and people like Phil make the difference.

I am unable to select the time above, the order was delayed and the expected time changed as there was no driver. It was delivered almost 20 minutes later than originally stated.

Catching up with a friend, didn't realise the time. Asked the young lady behind the counter what time they closed and were informed "now" in an obviously "get the heck out" tone. Wont be going back.

Delivery driver late, he put wrong address into his sat nav even though he had a our full address and postcode and very rude when he got to door. He needs to be reminded to speak to customers with respect.

The best Costa in the area in my opinion. Staff friendly and tables clean. Always very busy but managed to get a seat.

Food is way too expensive for what you get so we dont purchase food here no more. Coffee is good but since they mentioned their new improved taste so ingredients may have changed my tummy gets upset so have started using starbucks. Any one else noticed this?

Really good Costa branch with really friendly staff, can get busy in the mornings, but very much worth it to get a friendly cup of coffee.

For some strange reason your software identifies our location as being round by homebase whereas we are on SEASIDE

Terrible. There was no syrup down the sides of the cups and no Brownie crumble on one drink and hardly any bubbles on the Mango Frappé

They never (at least last 7 orders) add syrups when you buy the add on, so don't bother

There was no syrup added to the bubble mango and no crumbs on the chocolate fudge brownie frappe.

Friendly staff, great service, plenty of seating for sitting in. Wish it was kid free though haha.

Food was left by door, delivery woman just walked off.

Coffee shop appears understaffed. The front of house area was very messy. A lot of food and rubbish on the floor. Coffee machine is also quite messy. Customer service was not great - customers were not greeted with much enthusiasm or warmth. I didn’t feel valued as a customer. Given the prices; an average customer paying over five pounds for a coffee and a shortbread, I believe the standards of the coffee shop mechanics should be far higher. There was only one order ahead of me in the queue and I waited for around five minutes before getting the chance to order. I feel more for those behind me in the queue. I believe understaffing plays a major role in setting the scene for what I mentioned above.

Lattes luke warm and both the same ….. one was order with oat milk ……. One was ordered with skimmed milk and sugar free caramel both incorrect!

Amazing! Food and coffee is great. The staff are kind and friendly. Inside is warm and comfortable. Very lovely place to have a quick bite to eat for breakfast.

The staff make this branch so good. They cannot do enough to accomodate their customers. Prices are not bad either..The staff alone make a visit worthwhile. Good range of products including some gluten free.Was in there again today chatting to a lady who comes in for someone to talk to She too commented that the staff couldn't be nicer.

Great customer service, parking can be difficult when its busy

Our only food items - two pre-packed festive biscuits - were forgotten AGAIN, second time in a row! The driver was apparently waiting at the restaurant for a very long time, which given we had a simple order of two hot drinks, a cold drink and two biscuits was disappointing. Our drinks were barely luke warm by the time they arrived so I can only assume they had been sat on the side somewhere waiting to be collected. I wish there was a contact number for the restaurants so we could just as them to send out missing items with the next courier, but instead we have to go through the refund process with JustEat, which can take days. Lesson learned: don't order when actually wanting something in particular. Such a shame as we really like Costa generally.
