Horrible service, forget my order and left me waiting, and when I reminded them , not even a n apology. Although the lady ( blonde)before they miss calculated her bill , a massive apology was given . Very slow service as well .

Terrible service was told I can only use one free drink when I had two , so paid for the rest and they took all my free drinks away then when I questioned it they said you only had one , when they had seen I had two on my app , incompetent staff

Just been to costa drive thru Sunbank lane, Altrincham. Upon the advertisements it said open till 8 o clock and we was in the drive thru by 7:49. The machine said they was shut. This is absolutely ridiculous and false advertising shutting early without notice up!

The coffee at Costa has always been poor. But this place is the worst. It’s just milk with a vague flavour that is so mild that calling it coffee is an insult. Terrible. Undrinkable And yet it was full. But I think most people were on the other drinks The coffee is awful to anyone who loves good coffee

Great coffee but staff shortages for months has made this venue disappointing . Long wait , tables needing to be cleared . Staff that are there are good but need a lot more as this place can be busy .

Much improved after review but still one of the old issues persists. They used to regularly say they had run out of decaff coffee and sometimes decaff tea. Not a lot to ask for from a coffee shop but it was the case. Same happened today - no decaff coffee. Blamed on the deliverers but as far as customer is concerned that is of little relevance. A shame, as staff are trying much harder.

This store is one of the friendliest in the area Paulina the manager is wonderful and the team are a credit to the Costa Brand . I pass three other Costa Coffee shops to get to this one. Consistent quality and excellent customer service also from Patricia Anna Liam and Paige. Best flat white for miles all served with a smile 😀 Diane

The newly refurbished Costa is very clean and airy looking. Unfortunately,the same issues still persist. Toilets are not regularly inspected or cleaned, Tables are left uncleaned with piles of dirty cups and trays left. It was not particularly busy when I arrived but a queue soon built up behind me.... Some shortage of staff perhaps? I had stopped coming in as it looked and felt neglected..... But this will soon manifest itself once more if the staff are not engaged to look after the place... A large place so I'm sure they should do better with the turnover the place must generate.

If I had the option to rate this place with 0 stars then I would. Myself & another relative both had food poisoning from eating meat here a few weeks ago (Vomiting, diarrhoea, body aches & headache.) I'm Type 1 Diabetic and ended up having to stay in hospital due to the fact I couldn't stop vomiting and had diarrhoea; both of which had a massive impact on my blood sugars. I had a high level of ketones in my blood (ketones are life threatening) so was put onto 2 different drips. Numerous doctors confirmed I had food poisoning from this Costa due to the symptoms & the fact the food I'd eaten here was meat. After a week of feeling like absolute rubbish, I finally started to feel better. My stomach was still off but I was managing to finally eat small amounts without being sick & having diarrhoea. Myself & my family won't eat/drink at any Costa Coffee anymore as we've been completely put off from this experience

Good coffee and a great site, but restaurant is tired and grubby. Flooring damaged and held down with tape making it look very dirty.

Coffee not hot enough. Very poor toastie, only toasted one side underneath bread was damp... Checked the date was today's but item not fresh .. same yesterday lemon drizzle cake not fresh gave it them back. Appalling. Cafe Nero products far superior...won't be going again .

Great coffee but clearly not enough staff as tables aren't cleared swiftly and the place on occasions is grubby but the people who are there are good and clearly rushed off their feet at busy times. There aren't many places nearby to have a sit down and a drink so this place gets packed . Toilet needs updating as it is rather shabby and is so well used as there aren't any loos in the complex . This place could be great but needs a rethink from senior management.

Just like the branch in handforth , filthy . Crumbs and paper all over the floor . Mats held down with tape , empty pots all over the place . Not enough stuff to make coffee and clean up . I won’t be going to any more Costa branches until they smarten up .

Oh my god COSTA COFFEE GET A GRIP YOU ON THIS VENUE AND QUICK!!! We have never seen a coffee shop so dirty - these carpets have not been hoovered in a long time!!! Never been in such a dirty Costa with terrible service . 5 staff members behind counter, 1 on till and the rest talking. Waited 15 mins for 2 coffees in empty cafe. No management evident and absolutely no concern for the waiting clients. Dirty tables everywhere, dirty floors. Am a regular visitor to Costas and have never been in such a poor establishment. Franchise owners really should take some responsibility and investigate the standards offered.

Went to Costa on Sunday afternoon - firstly I was overcharged. Three staff behind the counter - no one was prepared to make the drinks. Every single table that was available was full of dirty cups, pots etc. Staff stood talking doing absolutely nothing. The floor was filthy as was every surface! Disgusting.

Wanted a bite to eat and a coffee. The cappuccino is good (not my fave of the chains but it’s better than some) but the panini was bang average. The service was reasonably quick. The decor is ok, even if a bit dated

The coffee at Costa is consistently good with quick efficient service. This time, I indulged in a slice of salted caramel and hazelnut cake. It was fab, very moist and tasty

Went for a coffee here late on Sunday afternoon and got fined by a jobsworth parking attendant for not being in a bay. Would have understood if I had actually not been in a bay but I was!!

Place needs better staff, less surly & more friendly. Dirty tables covered in crockery, used napkins, receipts, spilled drinks etc. More like a mums & babies group meeting place, with badly behaved, ADHD children running amok, screaming loudly & without parental supervision.

I always make time for a costa coffee this one is pretty much the same as the others, not a great deal of seating especially at busy times, the staff are great and its always clean and tidy, bog standard food and drinks for costa.

This place is badly run. Service was slow, the queue was long and girl on the til didn't seem to know how to use it. My toasted sandwich was ready before I'd even ordered drinks so it went cold. No one was clearing tables and...

Staff friendly. Fine for catch up with friends. Standard coffee and cake menu. Clean and tidy. Reasonable price.

This is one of the larger Costas that I have been to. Good service, typical fare, a serviceable Costa. Useful meeting point for people.

It’s a shame for the staff, visit here once or twice a month and recently it seems to be going down hill. Maybe putting to much investment in the new store in Next at Handforth....

Well I enjoyed it but the change from the £2.60 Iced coffee on a hot day was not worth the temporary relief from the heat, all I got was Diarrhoea. I Though Costa would have sorted this problem out after last years Watchdog report, clearly not in my case unfortunately. I regularly purchase hot drinks from Costa stores and will continue to do so, as for iced coffee never again! Don’t normally do reviews but that coffee was the on thing I had had that had a big question mark over it that day.

Very disinterested staff who clearly don’t want to be there. Fairly quiet when we visited but seemed to wait forever!

Mi esposa fue a usar el baño y estaba horrorizado por el desastre y estado en que se encontraba. El inodoro estaba roto y mi esposa tuvo suerte de no caerse y daño a sí misma. Dropped my grandson off at Stagecoach and I normally go to Costa in Wilmslow but I need to visit TK Maxx so I called in to this one on the retail park on a Saturday morning as other people have said lots of the tables needed clearing and cleaning but the staff didn't seem bothered and customers were clearing the tables themselves.

Como Costa vamos este es bastante bueno. Práctico, hay aparcamiento y muchos asientos dentro y fuera. Normalmente están ocupados, pero el personal ha sido siempre muy atentos y educados. Café y pasteles siempre son buenas, como por otros costa.

Una rápida entrada y salida. Bueno, el personal no amable o maleducado. Pantalla blanca era demasiado lechoso. Concurrida debido a su ubicación, pero nada especial.

Busy Cafe, always a good selection of food, drinks and cakes available whatever time you call but this Saturday morning many empty tables not not a clean one in site. People were clearing the tables themselves to be able to sit down. When two young ladies eventually were told to clean tables instead of chat behind the counter, they brushed crumbs and straws, onto the floor with their hands. Not a clean cloth in sight, floor covered in crumbs and rubbish and it wasn't even lunch time!!What a shame. Lots of staff, very chatty as they serve you but otherwise they appeared completely uninterested in how this busy Costa appeared.

I've been in lot of Costa cafes since this is my favourite coffee shop, but today I have visited this Costa in Bramhall and was surprised about service. Two ladies who were working on 26.8.2016 around 11am were visibly miserable that they need to work or deal with customers. There was absolutely no smiles, but grinches on faces (with all customers, not just me) because they had to serve. When I received my coffee, barista did NOT even look at me to pass the coffee.I work in hospitality field for last 15 year and I do understand you have a bad day, but I also understand that sometimes you need to pull yourself together. I hope management team realise that somethings needs to changed.

We all need our coffee fix, I go in almost everyday and see people working away on their laptops,reading a newspaper or book so it's a perfect place to have a quick lunch or brunch.

Whilst on a trip to B&Q I asked Marie if she fancied a coffee, the answer was yes. I order coffee and cake for both of us. Coffee was good as usual for Costa. Tables weren't cleared unfortunately.

The coffee was excellent, the service was quick and the staff friendly. The prices were average for this type of establishment.

This is a light and airy cafe, with outside tables which are good to sit at if the sun is shining. The service is efficient and the coffee always a good quality. It has free wi-fi so is a good space to sit and work though it does get busy due to the small retail units nearby.

I really like Costa Coffee, as well as independent coffee shops, and have visited Costa shops all over the world.I tried to go the first time but it was closing thirty minutes before the scheduled closing time, which was really disappointing.On visiting for the second time, the normal flat white was good, but when I had to use the toilet, it is no exaggeration to call it disgusting. Toilet roll all over the floor, water or something else on the floor, a wet floor sign just left in there under the sink.Needless to say I did not use the facilities. There is nothing on the door to show a cleaning schedule, which would inspire you to think that this had just fallen through a crack on the day.The last issue is that the tables were not cleared, so although there were a number of free tables, there were none that didn't have a pile of dirty dishes, cups or other mess on them.This really does not represent the Costs brand well at all, and was very disappointing.

Store was busy, service was quick, however the dark haired Middle Aged lady who served me was very stern and didn't offer any sort of greeting.

After a trip to the far easy for two weeks .... We were both in need of a costa coffee urgently ! We didn't come across any costa outlets in Bangkok / bali / or Kuala lumpar sadly ! Coffee and breakfast pastries at their best as to be expected in costa friendly staff !

As a Costa card holder I have visited many Costa establishments around the country I visited Costa in Bramhall on Boxing Day this year ( I have visited this Costa many times in the past) and again as usual the whole experience was excellent For me this must be the best Costa establishment I have found on my travels. It is not just about the Coffee ( although that is good) but it is about the total experience and communication which is excellency in this branch. -well done Bramhall again

Nice coffee range with snacks. Can be quite busy with only one toilet which seems to always have someone in. Clean and tidy nicely decorated. Quite expensive for coffee but I still love it and will always call in. Good with children and have a high chair.

I love the Costa brand and all other branches I've visited are good. However this place opened in 2013 delivers very bad service and staff just don't care. The place is supposed to shot at 7pm every night, however visit anytime after 5pm and staff have already shut off half the shop and taken all food/snacks off the shelves. Not one to visit

I have been to many costa branches before, but have never seen bad service like this. The guy on the till wanted to go to his break quickly so he didnt even take the ordder right. Won't go there again.

I often enjoy a few minutes of peace sitting in the Costa at Stanley Green Retail Park.My favourite is their plain hot chocolate, although you can have hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. They obviously serve coffee, also serve herbal teas, and there are cakes and so on.It is nice to sit and read a few pages of my book whilst enjoying my drink, although other users open their laptops as there is free wifi.The toilets are generally clean.
