Sad to see everybody who dined in use disposable cups especially on busy days. Staff tend to just use disposables and skip asking whether customers are dining in or not. Costa gives extra beans on their app to customers who use reusable cups, hope more customers use it.

Forcing the staff to 'look busy' makes you so uncomfortable as a customer with a beating heart and functioning brain.

This proved to be a decent Costa Coffee. When visiting Salford MediaCity, we decided to stop at Costa for a bite to eat for our lunch. Despite not exactly being "quiet", the service here was very quick and efficient and unlike some Costa Coffee stores, we were served with hot food very quickly. The food and drink was your standard Costa, although the tuna melt I ordered was a particularly nice one. There is plenty of seating in this place however the staff are a bit optimistic at the number of people they expect to sit around one table. Some of the tables had three chairs around them yet you'd struggle to get more than one person sat around it! Also, one or two available tables had moisture, presumably from hot drinks spilt on them, so evidently, greater attention needed to be paid to cleanliness (there seemed to be plenty of staff serving, however there was less human capital jumping on the cleaning duties front of house). Overall, this was a decent and aesthetically-decorated Costa Coffee. If you're shopping at the Outlet stores, I'd definitely recommend a visit if you're in need of either caffeine or food!

Not enough space to push a wheelchair in especially when busy. Couple of rude staff members and some really filthy cups and spoons. Seen better Costas in run down areas.

Giving this store 3 stars, based on the following: - Costa Guest Wifi- The connection was slow, so better use Quayside Wifi- which is getting to a fibre optic speed. - Service: I had to wait, even though there was no queue, this was unusual, it seemed like staff switched off/went for a break. - Temperature/ambience - It was mediocre at best, what you expect from a standard Costa Coffee, with no added amenities.

This Costa is usually and understandably busy but I was very happy to get a table today. I had a lovely cappuccino and a cake. It is a very nice Costa to take a break in and watch the shoppers walk by. The staff were very friendly, they cleared and cleaned my table for me. The cappuccino was delicious and I had a very enjoyable experience. Thanks to all the staff at Costa. Thanks for reading

Had two drinks here, both of which were ordered via the "Click & Collect" system on the app. I ordered them to sit in, but both were given to me in takeaway cups. Both drinks had whipped cream on them and the whole putting a lid on made the cream a complete waste of time. I specifically asked for my second drink to be served again in a glass, of which there were plenty behind the counter, only to be told, rather rudely in my opinion, that there was no dishwasher and that they were unable to clean the glasses. Apparently, it had something to do with the water having to be at 85°C, or some such nonsense, otherwise it doesn't clean the glass properly. Have they not heard of a sink and good old fashioned elbow grease? Absolutely farcical! How about getting someone out to repair the dishwasher then, if that's the case? Pure laziness in my opinion, judging from previous comments.

It's a coffee shop at Salford Quay, what more can be said, its clean and pleasant staff. Spacious too.

We were sat next to 8 teenagers who actually bought 3 drinks but produced food not purchased in house. A sign should be put up to forbid food not purchased in house is banned and so should they.

Ok, why 2 stars, food and service where good but I went for the breakfast deal, discounted breakfast before 11am. This Costa doesn't offer it which was only made clear when I was paying 🫤. Its not a massive saving but its the principle, they should let you know.

We had had a lovely morning visiting the Lowry Gallery but sadly felt extremely disgusted by the staff at Costa Coffee in the Lowry outlet shopping mall. The place is absolutely filthy. Food rubbed into the soft furnished seats. Tables not cleaned between customers. Piled up dirty pots all over the place and food on the floor. Worse than this the male middle aged assistant was extremely rude. He was shouting “ NEXT” in an aggressively manner to each customer! They had run out of bread and he said, “ you will have to get up earlier buddy”.Utterly disgraceful customer service and totally unacceptable.

Nothing to eat if you are gluten-free! Thankfully, their crisps are, and the gluten-free chocolate brownies are good, but that is hardly a healthy lunch! Time to wake up to people having allergies!

Kitchen unfortunately was not working so all drinks where in takeaway containers along with food. Very manic with cramped paths between tables leading to quite a few people tripping on chair legs.

Quick coffee break before we started our journey home. Friendly and helpful staff. Coffee and cake/biscuits were as good as usual. Not cheap but worth it, especially if time was against us on that particular day 😉

Great little costa. Popped in after going to the IMW north, great atmosphere and great staff. All had a form of cake too and no complaints.

Do you know Costa? It winds me up that you only do iced drinks in a small and medium size? I only wanted a large Iced Latte? Surely it's not too much to ask? Service was good though, staff very helpful and conscientious as I have allergies! Lovely little place to get an average sized drink!

Not the best customer experience here, wait in line for more than 20 minutes, then rudely told breakfast meal deal stops at 10 am when the time is only 10.05, then refused service because you say for God's sake, accused of swearing lol. This is the slowest and worst costa in Manchester

Cold!! I'd not recommend during winter. My coffee turned into iced coffee in about 10 minutes!! The cafe didn't feel cosy to me at allllll

Always extremely busy and always a long wait coffee always lukewarm friendly enough staff who always apologise beware thought of gift cards they are an absolute scam use them once and they expire before you know it Costa are thieves

Great coffee but not enough gluten free food for people with coeliac or IBS.

This has become our go to place for a coffee and snack before the theatre. It was busier than normal as Manchester United were playing at home. Hence the coffee being served in disposable cups! We got a table without any problem. I chose the St Clementine cake which was moist and tasty. My latte coffee was hot and the right strength. My partner's coffee was very strong. The staff are efficient and helpful. The tables were cleared regularly and the floors sweeped. It does close at 18.30 on a Wednesday. A good experience.

Always wait over 25 mins for a sandwich and an iced drink. Only 2 people on the bar and they are going super slow with the queue out the door. No urgency.... forgot my iced drink in the end and didn’t bother cutting the sandwich.

We called in here at around 17.15 and it was busier than on other occasions when we have visited. They now stock items of food from M&S. I chose an egg and cress sandwich which was well filled, tasty and pretty good value for money. I also chose a large latte coffee which was much bigger than I had expected! The staff were friendly and efficient and even brought my partner's panini to the table once it had been heated up. The tables were regularly cleared and wiped down. The staff were continually sweeping the floor. A good experience.

Very pleasant professional staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. They are assiduous with briefing all customers on Covid 19 track and trace. Nice one guys.👍

Visited Monday 11/4/22 at 3:45 having found ourselves seats we firstly had to clean all the detritus from the seats and sofa,nothing wrong with the drinks we were served but really the place was FILTHY on closer inspection we had dried food on table,food on floor,the ledge between us and other patrons was that thick with dust I was tempted to leave the cleaner ( that’s presuming they have one ) a polite message.has to be the dirtiest Costa I’ve ever visited.GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER COSTA NOT ACCEPTABLE……….

Costa is a great store, didn't appreciate the coffee barrister making our latte with semi skinned milk, thought oh be ran out of semi skimmed, ooooh no he was just been lazy as when my partner went to ask for a dash of whole milk to dilute the coffee down there it was on the side of his work station. Something to relay back to store lowry outlet

This was our first visit since pre pandemic. We visited at about 18.15 and it was not especially busy. Other than screens between servers and customers it was the same as on previous visits. The service was quick and efficient. My latte was very hot. There are plenty of tables sufficiently far apart. The tables were cleared and wiped down regularly. We felt safe in this environment.

Costa always nice and always run well . Deserve credit. Never had a bad experience in one.

Couldn’t cope with the amount of people obviously and there hadn’t been an attempt to clean up as there was food all over the place, dirty masks on the floor, dirty cups and rubbish on at least half the tables around us When we got the drinks they were just warm Avoid at all costs

My mum wanted to try the quality street latte, didn't look like the picture and the person making the drinks seemed very disinterested

It was clean which is important today. The cleaner walked around checking tables. My only issue was the queuing which seemed a long time. Not sure how many people work on the coffee machine or if today was slower than usual but it took time to get your order. The staff are friendly and polite but it did seem slow overall.

Good for a rest and a coffee while out shopping but I prefer the coffee I prepare at home.

A HUGE thank you to the assistant manager, Marta, who provided the best customer service I have ever received from any employee at any coffee shop!!!!!!! During a busy Sunday afternoon, she went over and above to ensure we felt welcomed and not rushed at the counter, she was warm, bubbly & also went out of her way to make sure our coffees and sandwiches were delivered to us super speedily. Thank you Marta!

Picked a quiet day, so got served quickly and no problem getting a table.

A beautiful hotel plus a delightful spa. Had afternoon tea too which was delicious.

Coffee and food we're good, staff happy to help. The set out at the desk is not good with screens you can't hear through and no space for more than 2 people getting food/drink etc.

Long queues not enough staff. My Grandson upset didn't get his chocolate with cream as we were going to cinema had to leave. Not happy at all.

If you have been in 1 Costa than you find them all the same. You go to Costa for one thing! A coffee and cake. This Costa I did find the lighting not the best and looking in very dark. It was clean, staff polite and friendly. It does exactly what it says on the the signage.

Not the best service. Wanted to use my point to get the drink but was wrongly told I had to download a voucher before I entered the shop as they have a nee system. Checked and I could have done it at the till but had to pay rather that use rewards.

Upon visiting this store, I was left stood at the front of the queue for approx 5 minutes before one of the 6 members of staff behind the counter decided to take my order. Upon taking my order the wrong order was received despite telling the cashier 3 times what items I wanted when ordering. The coffee in my cup was full of froth and not much coffee, I was paying for a medium sized drink and received less than a small. Drinks are poorly made. I feel staff need to have better customer awareness and barista skills.

On a whole given that we are in a time of a pandemic, i felt this branch was dirty, from the sticky tables to quite a noticeable layer of dust behind the seating area to the glass partition between the seating area and the serving area was very dirty.

A great store with ample seating and very friendly service. Eat or drink or take out.

Service OK, friendly but slow, coffee is good but ii can be very difficult to get a seat in the shop ( especially at weekends) and often have to clear it yourself as never seems to be three staff on duty and even if there are more the queue moves very slowly. Has toilets as well which is great although the centre toilets are much nicer.

Love their cheese and ham toasties.

Like a costa every now and again. This store used to be good, but there's a couple of male staff members there who don't make the drinks very well and are sometimes a bit rude, quite scruffy with long hair hanging over the coffee as they make it. Often they use too much water so not enough room for milk therefore the taste isn't quite right. The Media City store is my new favourite for this area now - 5 min walk away.

Air conditioned cafe but the staff are a bit mardy and they don’t trust you with sugar. You have to get it from behind the bar when you first order your drinks.

Always love their variety of coffees but for me, not very polite and staff always appear to rush you. I would like to mention that it could do with more of a cleaner approach behind the counter (clothes used to wipe coffee spout).

Stopped by the Costa to get a quick coffee, to then see people in large groups not practicing any social distancing in the queues. When inside customers were acting like there was no pandemic, not agreeing to the poor staff members guidelines and making their job a lot harder. To be fair I don't think it's necessary for a shop like this to stay open.
