Tasty food and drinks also great staff

Great service, good as it always was.

Nice cafe with lovely staff. Can get busy on a weekend but it's quite big as well so plenty of spaces. Food and drinks are the usual Costa ones. I enjoyed the ice tea.

Did a walk then popped into Costa Crowthorne today for the first time, just before closing, with my daughter and son. Had 2 cold coffees and a tea. Also had 2 glasses of warm water Was served by a really pleasant young man. So helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I didn’t get his name. But Costa are very lucky to have a humble, helpful, and friendly man. Thank you so much. Finished our day on a high. Regards Sarabjeet

As a former employee, this is a terrible place

It's a shame as the staff have stopped caring how to make coffee. My last 3 coffees have been poor. A flat white should be silky and smooth with the froth blended. What I have had is scolded hot milk with burnt coffee! Have given up going back and trying new ones in the high street!!

As a former employee, they stole all of our tips.

It was at 17.15 near closing time, ordered a salted caramel frappe with extra coffee my favorite drink and i have it regular but i must say this was the worst and most disgusting frappe i ever had i could not even drink half of it. Don't know what went wrong but alone the coffee was horrible don't think they done the measurements probably. Also asked for the toffee sprinkles as they where forgotten, said they are my favourite and he spooned then 3-4 big spoons into the cup where the leftover cup which was impossible to have

This was previously the best costa for miles , I had nothing but good experience here for many years . It has recently been taken over by new management and they cannot manage to make a decent coffee. I've given 4 chances since November. I will currently be avoiding it for the foreseeable future. BARISTAS NEED TRAINING URGENTLY. Also staff stink of cigarettes and smell was blowing in from staff smoking.

Service was quick for ordering and staff were friendly, order to Takeaway but was given a dine in and had to change but easily done! Food was simple but nice. Classic Costa really.

Much the same as any other Costa Coffee.

It's a Costa so pretty much what you'd expect. Reasonably large seating area.

Despite the fact that we were second in the queue our order slip disappeared. 2 other customer's orders were completed before ours. When enquiring on where our order was we were made to feel like we were trying to fool the staff and the fact that we had asked for a receipt was the reason our order had not been attended to. Poor service and no apology.

A pretty bog standard Costa but with the added 'pleasure' of a rather inhospitable welcome. No hello, no smiles and no thank you. I felt like an inconvenience. The place was virtually deserted when I visited. I suspect that any customers who fancied a coffee or food were all down the road at the much nicer Two Sisters Cafe (which was packed when I walked by).

Not a good experience today had drinks in and not takeaway. I asked for latte extra hot . It wasn't. Asked for a latte spoon to stir my sweetner and after a moment got a desert spoon . It was difficult picking up tray. Not often I write a bad review for this cafe

Just like the TARDIS, this place is bigger inside than what you expect, great coffee as always and free wi-fi to do some work.

Very poor vanilla latte. No froth at all. Could hardly taste the vanilla

What a shame. Was going here twice a day for my husbands coffee for last several years. Richard and his staff so friendly and entertaining and always remembered us. Not now. Rude new manager. Don’t know her name but won’t be going back

I took my own cup in and the lovely barista give me really good advice when taking in your own cup, highly recommended

Not too easy to enter in wheelchair as steep ramp at entrance, drink and cakes 100%. Felt staff could have helped more as they handed me drinks and cakes with me in wheelchair and did not offer to help or take them to the table where my two grandsons were waiting

Popped in with a friend..she ordered white chocolate drink with cream..and I ordered a latte..the guy doing the drinks..was atrocious..he picked up the cream frother and did a massive shake..flinging cream all over, including the floor..he didn't even notice!! The cream seemed to run out half way as he used it.( un noticed by him again) his colleague took the frother away and put it in the sink..she looked somewhat embarrassed.. he created the worst latte ever.. we sat down and were commenting on his lack of skills when he came out with a drink..seemed like a break he was attempting to put a lid on his drink..but it failed and fell on the floor..he glanced at the lid and shrugged and walked off..guess he was having a bad day...seems training could do with a refresher.. not sure it would make a difference tbh..

It's an OK cup of coffee, but plenty of unmasked people entering the shop.

Sat outside with our dog watching the world go by. Not very busy at 8am on a Tuesday which was lovely. Coffee perfect as always. Very friendly service and our coffee and pastries were brought out to our table, including water for our dog.

My local Costa in my village. Typical Costa but with friendly local staff.

OK, for coffees and a cake, just not brilliant to sit outside of, fumes etc but that's not their fault.

We checked in yesterday at 9.35 and left with our TAKE AWAY at 10.22. The card machine wasn't working and they didn't put any sign up until one customer, whom had been waiting for 20 min to be at the till to know about it, complained before leaving without buying anything and no apology from the staff. Staff poorly trained in customer service, they didn't seem bothered at all about the long queue... Really poor service and between clients we were letting each other now when the orders were ready cause they didn't even say loud this is yours, etc... Unbelievable and the worst experience I had at any Costa I've been visiting for years.

Terrible time. Asked for a latte, got a cappuccino, the cappuccino tasted like burnt coffee water. At least you managed to get half the order right. Not bad for a shop who's only job is to make coffee

Called in just before lunch time for a coffee and shortcake. We were expecting it to be busy but just the opposite. Booked in with the nhs app. Baristas friendly and carried our tray to our table. Music a bit wierd but not loud. When we left there were 2 people inside and a couple on a table outside on the pavement. I said to the Barista where is everybody and he said maybe they are all at the seaside.

Shocking service won't be using this branch again. Charged full price even after using the app and mentioned the deal of 50p for hot drinks.

Was quite busy, stood in queue for a good 10 mins before I got served. Then didn't have powder for hot chocolate, so had a white hot chocolate instead. It was lovely. Especially as drinks are 50p at the moment with the app. Will definitely visit again.

Only person in the shop today waiting for my takeaway but was abruptly told four times by a staff member, possibly manager, to 'stand' on a certain spot in the waiting area..... Was literally waiting for only a minute away from the counter completely social distanced from the staff with a mask and no one else around .... Rude, abrupt and completely unnecessary to speak to a mature person in that manner... The person involved clearly lacks social and leadership skills . I certainly would NOT return to this site. Also a staff member sat having his lunch at a table in the main restaurant area at a front window table causing confusion as the outlet is supposed to be closed for inside dinning ?? Poorly managed venue

Young boys serving - one has real attitude. Take their time serving....it's OK but would much prefer a smaller cafe where the staff are friendly

Found the staff very rude, one member of staff was young and in my opinion doesn't know how to be respectful. You cannot discriminate anyone! we wanted to sit outside. But still got refused. Unacceptable behaviour. Will not recommend this place!

Love Costa always a warm welcome

Clean, efficient, and good coffee. The only drawback was the volume of voices. In a confined space it only takes two people, speaking loudly to push up the volume generally, and today those two people were there. Other groups had to raise their volume to be heard, which led to earsplitting noise and goodbye to a pleasant cup of coffee. Shame.

It’s like any other costa but friendly staff quick response always and once out are in you will pumping in with lots of friends and neighbors from your area :)

How was costa you ask. mmm Ghastly like most American produce. They still sell that warm watered down milk with a "hint" of flavour and have the audacity to call it coffee.!!! You get 1* because there isn't a lesser option.
