Costa Coffee in Lincoln

I order at 8:34 in the morning and it came 9:25 why the courier was that late what if I have to go work I was busy that time and I had a work I could lose the job of that.

Went to Costa Asda hykeham lincoln.for first time. Coffee was really good.differant to any other Costa ( and I have Costa every day) it was served in a cup and not a glass.Jordan made the coffee and Sarah served us. It was lovely they were very friendly.will be back thank you .please pass this on the the manager

The store was a mess. Service was less than satisfactory. An older woman, I think the owner? Addressed her lady colleague horrendously. Avoid.

Always pop in before I start work they know what coffee i have. shout out to Dylan always makes my coffee exactly how I like it . U have good team here an asset to your store

Not only was only one person working. Who initially was polite. We stood and waited and then they served someone else who came in after us. Forget it I’ll got to starbucks instead then and forget ya costa rewards app. Place was also rather unclean obvs from the one person working there.

Missing the main meal of mac and cheese?

Be warned, this Costa can get extremely busy and the queue can sometimes reach the doors. When I was served there was only three staff on but they work ever so hard. I had a nutcracker caramel cake and gingerbread and cream latte. Both very nice. Often you can’t get a table due to it being really busy. I’d come again but it’s hard when to judge quieter times.

Waited nearly 20 minutes only to be told no Terry’s chocolate orange hot chocolate left Chocolate twist always sold out Asked for a small hot chocolate Instead but got a medium On a positive I got a free cake due to my birthday last week Might try Starbucks next time

Great coffee shop, always efficient, friendly staff, seating area is clean, great selection of drinks

Absolutely awful. Waited 15 minutes for one latte. Ended up leaving before they even made it. They have 6+ staff chatting doing absolutely nothing, for their friends to come in, skip the queue, and they proceeded to make their drinks! Absolute joke, where is the manager in this place...

Realmente miras a tu alrededor y no sientes más que aburrimiento abyecto. El personal hace todo lo posible, pero con toda justicia, el tedio debe rozar con ellos también. Hay más vida en un hogar de ancianos, y más ambiente también. Aunque el débil olor de la muerte estaba allí. Quizá me lo imaginaba, no estoy seguro.

The premises are a bit tired but the staff were very friendly and the flat white was nice. Very busy around lunchtime.

Today is my birthday & I have just had the worst experience at the Lincoln UK High Street Store. Callum, one of the barista’s, just yelled at me pointing and shouting ‘scan it’ , repeatedly. And this is even though his colleague explained that he was already attending to me. I was thrown back with his first words, especially as the other barista who was attending to me had been extremely polite and helpful. He refused to calm down. By his second batch of words, I said to him that I did speak English, asked him why he was yelling & said I would report him & he scoffed. He has left me in tears, was extremely menacing & I have not experienced this form of aggression ever. This was definitely a racist attack - totally unprovoked behavior. I went back in to get his name. Callum.

One item was missing from the order and It was in the receipt.

recently visited the Costa location in Lincoln and overall had a positive experience, warranting a 4-star rating. The service was friendly, and the coffee, as always, lived up to the Costa reputation. The cozy ambiance of the place makes it a great spot to unwind. However, the only drawback was the limited availability of seating during busy times. Finding a place to sit became a bit challenging, and it impacted the overall comfort of my visit. It would be great if the seating capacity could be increased or if there were more efficient ways to manage crowded periods. Despite this, the staff remained attentive, and the service was swift. The cleanliness of the premises was well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. In summary, Costa in Lincoln is a fantastic choice for a coffee break, but the seating situation during peak hours slightly affected my experience. I'd still recommend it for the excellent beverages and inviting ambiance, but be prepared for potential seating challenges during busy times.

Great coffee but getting very expensive nearly £10 for 2 coffees absolutely ridiculous 😑 and the snacks is a absolute rip off you can get a whole pack of cakes for the price of 1 cake

It was convenient to find a coffee shop that was still open after 5 pm in Lincoln. (This branch closes at 6 pm). 5 stars for our hot drinks, delicious, perfect temperature! 3 stars for service: we had to ask the staff twice about cleaning and wiping the table we wanted to sit at. At about 5:40 pm the staff started to clean the shop and move the furniture which didn't make us wanting to stay till 6 pm.

Would just like to have a coffee without feeling I'm ruining the staffs day. Toilets are in a state and coffee wasn't hot as poured from a jug that had been out for a while. Wasn't even busy 🤷‍♂️

Decent lunch, finally got to spend my gift card, the staff were working hard to get everyone served and did a grand job.

Idk. All screens show maple hazel but the people say nothing is there. Might now want to advertise it nationally if you can't provide your shops with it..

They got my order wrong, I ordered two coffee frappés and got two milky drinks with cream with no coffee in them. As I've got hydrocephalus, I need caffeinated drinks otherwise water builds up in my brain. Most disappointing.

I LOVE this Costa Coffee branch. The staff here are super friendly. Their customer service is just first class. Service is always done with a smile. I was served by one gentleman (who I believe was a new staff member) who had the most immaculate customer service ever. He was so cheery and as he collected my empty plates, he was so overjoyed and humbled that I enjoyed my food and coffee. The gentleman who served me had dark, short hair and dark stubble, he honestly was super sweet and friendly and I couldn't have asked for a more kinder soul. 🤍❤️☕️😁 All of the staff here are friendly and welcome you with a beaming smile. I always enjoy every visit here. Great coffee, great food, great staff. ☕️😁

We were there later in the day; was very quiet (at least it was before we arrived.. sorry ) Service was very quick: staff were friendly and pleasant. We only ordered drinks, so can't comment on food: but my coffee was delicious

Myself and my friend had the most amazing experience here all thanks to the kind and handsome Callum! He was incredibly helpful with ordering and suggesting drinks pairings. We would come back again just for him!

Callum was the most friendly face, couldn't have asked for a kinder soul on a bad day. His small act of kindness warmed my heart and he was the most helpful person, suggesting pairings for drinks and syrups etc. - thank you Callum!

This is the second time in about 6 weeks that I've turned up here and it's closed when it's supposed to be open! Can't rate it when I can't get inside to try it!

we went for coffee and cake. we were told, toilets closed., so only take outs.why stop letting in people when lots of places do not have toilets lots of people were walking away.

Delivered the toasties but not the two coffee. The whole reason you go to a coffee shop. Even the delivery drive joked that the delivery was small.

I LOVE coming to this Costa shop, the staff always make me feel so welcome, and we always have a chat(if it’s quiet) which it usually is at 7am when I get there, a big shout out to Dylan and Callum who never fail to make me laugh.

It was really busy when I visited. Even so, the store was clean, the food and coffee was hot, and the atmosphere was good.

Always used Costa coffee machines but was a bit disappointed visiting this high street Costa store as the mug and spoon that my drink was served with weren't cleaned well at all; management definitely need to follow up and check their cleaning routine.

Latte good, service good, and now the coffee shop has had a make-over an attractive place to take a break. Well done Costa.

this branch always seems to be somewhat understaffed but the employees are always so corteous, friendly and helpful - the other day, i ordered a hot drink and an iced drink but, because they were severely understaffed, they had run out of ice and had no way to get any more at the time: the lad at the counter was so apologetic and gave me the one drink they could make on-the-house. i hope that person gets a raise :)

Awful store visit today, staff friendly enough but too few of them and wait to place order & get drinks was much too long. Tables not cleared or cleaned, one of the two toilets out of order and hadn’t been serviced regularly, and dishwasher apparently not working either so all drinks served in takeaway cups rather than proper cups even when sitting in. Will not be back anytime soon!

Lovely little spot in town. Only came here to write a review about the barista Callum. Came in with my brother and friend. He was very kind, friendly, and couldn’t have been more helpful. A total asset to the team, and a star employee. Thank you for brightening our day! :)

Ordered drinks as a treat when a friend came to visit as delivery time was 20-35 minutes. After 20 minutes it became clear it wouldn't be delivered in that time frame so I tried to cancel but there was no option to do so, it just kept sending me round in circles. I rand Costs telephone number but was told they weren't able to take any calls at present. I therefore had to wait. Drinks didn't arrive until over an hour after the order was placed and then turned up cold. I tried to complain on the app but the only options were "items were cold" and "item missing" which didn't cover my full complaint but I chose "items were cold" and submitted the complaint. Got an email back saying would credit me with £4 (less than half order value) and I could not respond. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WILL NOT ORDER FROM COSTA ON THE APP AGAIN, NOR WILL MY FRIEND WHO HAD TO DRINK HERS IN TWO MINUTES AS SHE HAD TO LEAVE. THE ONLY PLUS OF IT BEING COLD!

We got our coffee but not our food. I'm diabetic and can now no longer afford to order any thing else to stop me going into a hypo. Not only have you screwed up our order but you've endangered my life!

over 40 mins late! no caramel sauce in my iced latte! and no straws wow 2 for 2 there costa congratulations on the absolute diabolical service - not using them again !!!!!!!

Not sure why but the window tables were stacked with chairs on top when we visited at 4pm despite the cafe being advertised as open til 6pm. Could understand if it was 1/2 hr from closing but felt like we were being hurried out.

Once again they’ve forgot to put my food into a paper bag. How are you going to continue in life if you can’t do the most simplest of things

While the food that did come was great unfortunately my order was assembled inaccurately as I got a lemon muffin and bake well tart instead of my ordered white chocolate & raspberry muffin and lemon tart!

Don't normally use this coffee shop(Nero normally) Had coffee and toastie only to see toasties reduced minutes later yet i was charged full price...could of said and offered me the same price.

Not very clean. The lady got my order wrong twice, before getting in a mood and finally getting it right a third time (I only ordered a regular caramel latte, nothing special). Definitely need friendlier staff and better cleaning. I didn’t go in when it was very busy, so there’s no excuse for dirty toilets, empty plates and tissues all over the tables, etc.

Had a lovely hot latte with a sausage bap and a piece of Tiffin. Very nice in there not crowded

We both had the Vegan BBQ Chick'n Panini as we were keen to try the new offerings for Veganuary. The staff member on duty was friendly and welcoming taking our order and gave me an “enjoy” when she presented me with the tray of food and drink. The panini was tasty and the bread had a good texture but I thought the filling could have been more generous and there were hardly any roasted peppers. The coffee was up to the usual standard and the seating was comfortable.
