Costa Coffee in Winchester

It's a great place if you want to spend 3,80 on a cup of warmish milk

I usually have a great experience at this place, as the staff are typically friendly and welcoming. However, my recent visit was disappointing due to a new member of staff (a man with long brown hair). He seemed incredibly unfriendly, wearing a miserable expression and lacking any customer service skills. I politely asked if I could quickly pay for my water while he was making another drink, explaining that I was in a rush to catch my train. While I completely understand that it was a bit of a last-minute request and he had the right to say no, his response was unnecessarily rude. There are ways to decline a request politely, but he failed in that regard. His lack of eye contact and dismissive attitude left a poor impression. It’s a real shame, as the rest of the team is usually so lovely and professional. I hope this was just a one-off experience.

Excellent service everyday. All the guys are terrific, and the manager has superb customer centric service!

Very lovely place to just have a drink and relax, all the staff are really lovely and welcoming. Shout out to Kiernan and Sam! They always make our day along with the coffee :)

Awful coffee. Made badly. Staff did not listen to order instructions, even though it was repeated 3 times. Completely zoned out. Will not return.

Me and my friends came to costa ,we ordered 3 frappes and they tasted absolutely horrible , what a waste money , Rude customer service and we also got a talked about the moment we left , i will definitely not be coming back.

No ham and cheese toastie and didn’t get replaced with a substitute. No straws for drinks

Slow to make drink & probably a the worst Costa decaf latte I’ve ever had

Just had a carmel latte coffee.

Delivery driver was rude. Food was cold

Closed way to early on the 31st opened at 7 on the 1st and still cold at 7:40 this morning when times are 6am-6:30pm and the staff are just gent in there just standing around and the ladies in there this morning just sat on her photo

Ordered at 0733 - 0855 and was still waiting. Called guy, was rude and didn’t speak English. Didn’t read delivery instructions stating it was the garage. Was just dumped by the door. I am super annoyed. Awful service, get someone else to do a better job.

The best costa around! The staff are brilliant and the coffee always tastes amazing! They are also extremely quick and there is never an issue where you’re worried about missing your train waiting! Thank you :)

The coffee as expected. Low end quality, watery and bitter/burned taste. The staff absolutely fantastic. Great smiles and attitude.

Only reason I gave one star is they only had half my order in , so I asked them to cancel it, I was unable to cancel it my end.. I wasn’t offered any replacements

It's Winchester, it's outside the railway station and it's a Costa. Expect to pay their above inflation prices...or go somewhere else.

Regular old Costa, doesn't deserve to be 1 star

One of the worse coffe I had this morning at costa coffe winchester train station!! Runny like a water!! I was observing the girl in charge, she wasn't letting milk to be heating up properly. And poring it very quick not the way it should be. She's definitely needs some training. I love costa coffe, its My favourite one. But i have to post my complaint so this problem can be resolved in the future!! This was just after 10 a.m on Friday the 1st of October.
