Costa Coffee in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We stopped by after a long drive from London on Tuesday and Megan was opening the coffee shop. The shop was clean and presentable from the night before and the barista was extremely accommodating. It was lovely to see her interacting with the regulars, remembering their usual and the stories they had told her, all while providing a clean and fast service. Thank you so much for our peppermint tea and heating up our mince pie. Keep doing what you're doing Megan, because you are putting smiles on people's faces. I didn't catch the name of the colleague working with you that came a bit later but the two of you work really well together, especially as it got busier. Well done and thank you again!

Super coffee and cake shop in the centre of Truro

Hi I came in to this costa on the 29th of October between 1.30 and 2 pm just stating dates and time incase any staff actually review this since there's no way of contacting the store as number is disconnected I placed an order in store I asked the server "if my order can be made completely dairy free as I am allergic"she said "yes it can and would you get very ill"i said "yes unfortunately I'd end up very ill " she then asked if I want light whip I said "if it's dairy free then yes please" she said it can all be made safe for me then as when I usually place orders in my local stores they get out the allergy book and check all ingredients with me to assure its safe so I thought her not doing this was a bit weird so I searched my order online and found that it says this drink cannot be made dairy free in red with am exclamation mark I showed this to another member of staff and he says no this can't be made vegan what can we get you instead I said "a refund I guess". As a person with a severe allergy I'm already uncomfortable ordering from places but when they don't take the allergy seriously it makes me alot more uneasy if I hadn't checked and ignored what the staff said and just trusted her I could of been in hospital right now I wanted to speak to a manager about this but seen as the phone number doesn't work this is the only thing I could think of it is unsafe and your customers shouldn't have to check to make sure your taking there allergy seriously if a manager sees this please teach your employees the severity of allergys. P.s my refund still hasn't returned to my bank.

Girl serving was cheerful and friendly.

Nice drink and sweet treat, staff were polite but seemed quite nervous. Few too many flies hanging out around the lamps directly above the counter.

Depends on the staff on shift as to how clean the tables Noisy environment, poor queuing system. Nowhere to stand apart from around the serving area. Directly in the way other customers coming and going so gets congested The toilets are usually dirty... paper on the floor, wet floors or no paper I have a take out or go to Neros now Prices are over inflated, like everything these days

Staff dismissive, no cookies left for free cookie offer and no alternative offered, 45p supplement for oat milk, Cappuccino mostly foam and cold, total of 12 bubbles in the bubble tea as well as most of the cup being full of ice. Even my 10 year old daughter thought it was a rip off. Costa should up their game with there being several other coffee shops in the vicinity. Or perhaps rebrand as cost-a-fortune. I won't be returning.

It was convenient to pop in for some lunch. Would have preferred to find a local cafe if I had more time!

Standard, reliable coffee and / or chocolate and dogs allowed. Sometimes a bit grubby, but it is what it is...

We do like Costa's and this is a nice one, clean with plenty of seating and really pleasant staff, with the added bonus of darn good coffee too. Native Truronians are luck people indeed!!

I visit this place twice a week for at least 3years but today I feel disappointed because the ladies make the drink for me is so rude to me.she just put down the drink and don’t say anything until I ask her is that my drink.i say thank you but she no say anything.i think she need to improve her customer service.i don’t think i will come back to this place to order my hot chocolate cause today i have my cold chocolate throw into bin.

Neither of the coffees tasted great and there was lots of uncleared tables. The tables that we sat at that was clear wasn't very clean. Noticed there was no loo roll in the toilet either 👀

A very dingy Costa coffee with. Staff served us quickly but were not overly polite or friendly.

I went in this morning with what I can only describe as brain fog!! Using an offer on the app, I just didn't get what the guy was trying to explain to me...finally got there in the end but he was very patient and understanding and so was the lady who made my drink. I didnt get their names but just wanted them to know that their kindness meant alot.

I was disappointed with my visit a few weeks ago, hot chocolate was luke warm at best, you would expect a hot drink to be well.. a hot drink especially if you're paying close to £5 for it. I also thought the staff wasn't very welcoming and didn't see that motivated to work there. I don't plan on going back unfortunately.

Food and drink is good and staff are nice, except for the young blonde girl working here. I get its hot and probably a busy day but I also work in customer service and wouldn’t dream of talking to a customer the way she did to me. Two ladies working with her were more than lovely, hope I don’t experience this again.

Has improved a lot since my last visit. Food/drinks are expensive, but it's Costa, so that's what you'd expect. OK place for a quick coffee/snack, but not much atmosphere. Easily accessible, plenty of seating. Note the time restrictions in the car park though, and make sure you park well within a bay, and follow the arrows (it is not Costa's fault or responsibility), the company that run it will fine you for any rule breaking!

Not a good experience I do like the Costa Flat white but won't be going back again, very slow service, the coffees weren't hot and the place was filthy. Looking around while waiting for the coffees it was obvious the floor hadn't been cleaned for weeks and the tables were covered in trays awaiting clearing and cleaning.....

As usual it was your typical Costa, well laid out, clean, tidy and the staff were friendly and professional.

Great customer service. Friendly staff. Felt very relaxed having lunch here with our baby boy. We live in London and it makes a change for people to be so friendly and have time for you. Will come again when visiting next. :)

Very friendly staff and warm atmosphere in this Costa. The décor is very pleasant and the cafe floor isn't too cluttered, making it easy to navigate with either a wheelchair or pram.

Called in first thing this morning, the lady was working on her own. She made me the best Flat white I've had for a long time with perfectly cooked brown toast. Fantastic service thanks.

But if it your brithday and other bargains being given if you have the app. But not the same if you don't have a mobile device. Totally different if you just have a card really unfair for other people who use their shops

This is by far my favourite coffee shop around - the staff are so lovely! Delicious drinks & snacks too. I don't drink in but the seating areas look cozy.
