Asked me what I wanted when I arrived Rude its a drug.pub

Fantastic pub, great atmosphere, multiple screens showing live sports, numerous pool tables & Dart boards, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the landlord who apparently is new to this pub went out of his way to ensure we all had a good time !!

It has improved now it's under new management, however it's sad to see some of the staff members gone.

The Staff at The Red Lion, the local Pub to our Choir practice, couldn't do enough for us. The Red Lion team are "going the extra mile" to make us feel like welcomed and valued customers.

I'm easing into more of a social life after a long time and on one occasion, I was there to witness the red lion firing it up, so if I manage to remain in Redruth, I'll be back.

Always a good selection of real ale available. Good service and a friendly pub which has two screens showing sports.

The landlord was probably one of the most welcoming landlords me and my freind have met. Proper nice beer, chat and defo reigns the problem children in literally seconds. 10/10 best pub I've been in in a long time, can't wait to see the tables in use though

19th may,went to red lion,two customers,barman refused to serve me as.i did not have a mobile,contacted trust inns who own the pub,they said pub will only accept people with mobile phones.

Lived in Cornwall all my life and have always seen the red Lion as the best pub in redruth but I have not been in years but when me and my Brazilian friend went there on a quiet night with mostly locals, we we're welcomed with open arms which made our night so much better friendly and lovely owners and great atmosphere. Not to mention the fact that there is a roaring fire place that adds a beautiful touch to the pub. #cornishhospitality

This place not long reopened after refurb. Called The Red Lion now.. Lovely cornish pub. No food menu. Loads snacks. . Great atmosphere. Open fire esp this off yr. Just what doctor ordered. Seperate area for kids. Dog friendly. Has disco nites. Place to touch base and have a laugh and a pint.

The second time my wife and I have been in the Red Lion, Redruth now! First time a few weeks ago not going to be personal about the staff, although I could quite easily! 1st time in there we ordered our drinks a coffee and a pint of Guinness and 2 lunches! Starving and looking forward to the grub!? Never came! Electrical problem? OK! 2nd time today 30/08/13 ordered same drinks and a simple cheese & onion omelette & chips and sausage, egg & chips! How simple can that be? Face it we are in the trade couldn't be easier! approx 40 minutes later - I might add at this point we were the only people in the restaurant and one very drunk lad in the bar! - Anyway we asked how much longer this simple meal was going to be!? The reply from the barman with the big personality was: It is cooked from fresh... my god! it's only bangers & chips and an omelette, 2 simple meals! 40 minutes waiting!!! It was not a banquet for royalty!!! We left a tenner on the bar under my half finished second drink and said to the barman of the year FORGET THE FOOD and WE WON'T BE BACK! Come on no wonder the place as no personality or customers!!!
