Not bad flavours, food was warm and good communication. Onion bhajis were a little undercooked in the centre but nothing major. Generous portion size. Authentic taste

The food is on point every time

Food was good and arrived pretty quickly (about 25 mins mid-week with 35-45 estimate). The chicken tikka was different to what you'd usually expect but tasted good nonetheless.

Had chicken madras, plain rice and a garlic naan. Madras tastes heavily of lemon, overpoweringly so. Heat is good and not too salty. Dull the lemon down and it’s a corker. Rice is cooked perfectly. Naan was throughly disappointing. It’s never seen garlic let alone cooked with some on it unfortunately. People order garlic naan because they enjoy garlic flavoured bread, no reason to go light on that.

Best takeaway we have had in a long time! We ordered from here not realising how far away it was (our mistake!) however, the restaurant were excellent and phoned to explain the food may take longer due to the distance. Food arrived on time and was absolutely brilliant, highly recommend!!

honestly I was a bit disappointed that our food arrived hours later but the customer service was excellent. despite a challenging and busy weekend they kept me updated gave us a full refund and gave us drinks and extra food. The driver came a long way to deliver results and was very apologetic. the food was nice and I probably enjoyed it more after waiting so long but the situation was understandable and they was clearly very keen to keep us happy.

Great service from start to finish, restaurant called to let us know food will be delivered by a certain window - it was within the time frame, delicious and delivered warm, delivery driver was super friendly - we will be ordering from again in the future.

Spent £88 on food for 5 people. Missed part of a meal ( chicken nuggets and chips came without the chips and we also realised after I called them we were missing one tikka massala meal and the onion bhajis for the set meal for 2 people. Really angry and disappointed, what a waste of £

We've had plenty of Indian takeaways over the years and this has to be one of the best yet. Food is absolutely fantastic, nothing more about it needs to be stated. Great communication and delivery driver was also very nice. Would 100% recommend Amity as your Indian takeaway of choice!

The food was absolutely bad. Firstly, the starter, the onion bhaji were all burnt and some dishes were missing. Secondly, they messed up our mains. we tried so speak to the boss (the Asian guy with big muscles) but he was just too rude. Very bad experience.

Absolutely amazing!! In Cornwall on holiday and can without a doubt say it was the best Indian I’ve ever had! Portions were great, food tasted amazing and the service was really quick and efficient! Will definitely order again next time we are down here!

mine was wrong meal as driver gave wrong one and then returned 10 mins later to ask if we could swap. Had already eaten over half by this point as did not want meal to go cold even if it wasn't correct.

Not the best - lamb chop tasted foul! Lamb curry was ok but what with the 3 pieces of potatoes in there???????? &10 for a lot of sauce!!!!!!!!! The bread was lovely - the only I ate that was nice!

Warning, if you leave a bad review on Just Eat they ban you as a customer. Regular customer by delivery and in recent months the delivery service had deteriorated due to drivers refusing to use their smartphones to find my location. Which resulted us walking some distance in the rain to find them. Reordered as never had a problem with their food and recieved an order in April with no problem, so I hoped the problem had stopped. Ordered again today and my order was cancelled. When I called up to find out why my order was cancelled, I was told it was due to my negative review about their delivery. I would reconmend the man who answered the phone to learn about customer service in how to see negative reviews as an opportunity to improve their business and gain positive reviews from those customers. Not impressed and will happily take my regular custom elsewhere.

I’m in Newquay and didn’t realise they were all the way in Redruth, but they had no trouble delivering and the food was really tasty and hot upon arrival. I would recommend this take away highly and the Madras packs a nice spicy punch.

Exceptional food, best Indian we’ve ever had honestly and the customer service was just wonderful. They called immediately after placing our order to inform us that they are busy so they may be late and we didn’t mind as we were quite far out from the restaurant. Despite the distance, food was still piping hot when it arrived and wasn’t any later than we were told. Even the delivery driver was so lovely. Called me before he arrived to ensure he had signal before getting to the apartment. 10/10 e

Chicken was very overdone and chewy. Taste was lovely, however. Received complementary bottle of Pepsi for delay.

Food was 2 hours late !! When we finally got it we only had half our order. I called the restaurant to be told basically go back on the app state what you didn’t have and we will then send it back out. Moving to the curries. Madras 🤣 more like a sour soup we have never tasted anyone so vile on our life’s. The rice one garlic one egg, neither tasted like it couldn’t work out what they was. I was informed by the rude man it’s food Friday so basically suck it up and dropped the phone on me. Absolutely

ordered at 635pm and received order just before 9pm. I was informed at 730pm order will be 8pm or 8.15pm at the latest but was another hour. told as a sorry get an extra dish but this was a small small side salad

Absolutely hurrendous. Had to chase this order up on 4 occasions. Delivery time went from 6.25 to 6.45 to 7.15 to 7.35 the lady answering the phone “Iona” such a rude antagonistic girl. The food eventually came, it was cold, tasted old, really greasy, so bland. Complete waste of time and money. My advice, just don’t.

Hi delivery was on time, driver was a very nice younge man, but my drinks were forgotten by the restaurant.

We put the order in at 16.00 for 18.00 at 17.50 the app hadn’t changed so we rang them to find out what was happening and was told that it wouldn’t get delivered until 19.30 and told they were busy as it was Saturday. Unfortunately after a long wait the food wasn’t that great despite how hungry everyone was.

I have arrived to Redruth and first restaurant to see was Amity. I entered with my suitcase to just order food and go to my hotel. The receptionist was really nice and he offered to help me book taxi as it’s kind of hard to get one in that area. The owner ended up asking his delivery driver to drop me off to the hotel instead for free. Such a nice team and such a nice gesture. And the food was really really good, I had both my meals at Amity when I was there 👍 They even have an app that works in both apple and android with delivery as well.

Had a call to let me know my delivery would be later and planned but it wasn’t an issue for us! I was given a free bottle of pop to apologise, again we were happy to wait. Food was hot when it arrived and very tasty

the curry came with a thick layer of oil on top making the whole meat disgustingly greasy

Absolutely delicious. It’s a a BYOB restaurant as they don’t have an alcohol license, but that means you can afford more of their excellent food.

So we're in Redruth and fancy a sit down curry - the choice is - limited, so Amity it is. Charming enough, ok so maybe the day glow reds and blues are a bit tacky but pleasent enough. Now we delve into the music - picture House Bollywood, we quite liked it, better than the usual higher pitched dinga lings. Service - the chap was very attentive, maybe rather awkward at times but nice enough and tried his best, knowledge of the menu and indian cuisine would probably help a little. Food - good portions, tasty enough, a little weak on spice. The roulette of having a fairly hot dish off the menu came out just about mild, if i'd specifically asked for it fairly hot you know its coming out blazing. Breads - keema naan, lacked keema unfortunately and the tandori roti was more like a chapati. All in all, not bad, not by any means but not great. Probably wouldn't go back.

Myself and my friend had a lovely meal at Amity. The menu is perfect for anyone, as all dishes / sauces can be made vegetarian with paneer or vegetables, so there is a huge range available. The atmosphere is very cosy, warm and welcoming. The service was amazing and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I am looking forward to coming back with my family soon.
