absolutely disgusting terrible service from one of their BM’s drinks were horrendous

I popped in here whilst waiting for my husband. I ordered a cappuccino and a pack of waffles. As my broken arm was in plaster, I thought I would just carry the cup and put the waffles in my shoulder bag. However, Fleur told me to go and sit down and she would bring the things to my table – which she did even though the place was busy. Thank you for such considerate service, it was very thoughtful.

If Channel 5 ever wanted to make a fly on the wall doc in a branch of Costa Coffee then this is THE ONE. Luckily the live stage show is already on stage here on the outskirts of Glastonbury for anyone who wants to experience the thrills and spills (of which there are many) for themselves! It's a cross-generational cast; there's the young, quiet (lost?) one who can inspirationally fit a litre of tea into a medium cup (don't worry! You won't have to drink a litre, you will spill most of it before you even sit down); there's the ex-army labrador on the drive-thru darting from window to coffee machine with the stealth of a gecko on a Spanish footpath and of course there's the giggling confusion on legs who can somehow move so fast they vibrate while also taking a long weekend to put a pain au chocolate on a plate (the customer didn't order a pain au chocolate by the way, they asked for a bacon roll, but we can see the misunderstanding there, can't we?). Anyway, service aside the team will win our hearts over in the end, we'll all look forward to Series 2 on Channel 5 in the autumn, maybe even a Christmas romcom movie where the labrador and Ms.Confusion fall in love over a spilt cappucino and a cinnamon bun.

After arriving at the nearby Premier Inn we walked to this Costa for a coffee. Pleasantly surprised as this was one of the tidier ones we have been in. The staff were friendly and efficient. Could not fault the cappuccino.

Used the drive through , coffee was good, staff were very friendly. However costa has once again put prices up. It is now too much money for a coffee now.

I was there last year and a charming waiter served me. I would like to locate you!!!

Not bad alot better than street clarks village they are so slow not surprising NO investment in staff always not enough. You can could do better it's a pity all the old staff are leaving l wonder why it's down to a company that does not care !!!!

Scanned my app this morning with 2 reuse cups & drinks, only got 3 beans so only 1g went through as reuse. My drink tastes of dampness, and mould, the cream was yellow and tasted gone off. Drinks only lukewarm. Wasn’t very happy with our service

Staff are efficient and friendly and I’ve never had to wait long even when it’s busy. It’s a nice layout with plenty of space and light.

Arthritic, Old lady with little grandaughter but helped with ordering, loyalty card (technophobe), by patient and kind member of staff, Becks. She went beyond the call of duty in assistance and other young assistants could learn a lot from her re customer relations. I hope her abilities are recognised by management. Special mention of Di too with her warm, welcoming smile regardless of weather.

Horrendous coffee. Join us in the 21st century and please learn how to make a flat white. Quantity doesn’t equal quality, it just makes it an awful latte!

Good coffee, tea and hot chocolates drinks available. Food a little on the expensive side for what you get. Great staff, very friendly. Menu's are on digital screens a bit far away to be able to read for sight impaired, top tip take a photo and zoom in.

Great service. Kind staff. Super fast! Friendly atmosphere when drinking inside too, nothing is to much trouble ❤️

Usual Costa set up can get busy

A really great Costa in a great location. Friendly staff, standard Costa food options as expected and same goes for the coffee. Plenty of seating is available and toilets are onsite. Nice quiet atmosphere perfect if you are meeting friends or having a business meeting. This establishment also has a drive thru if you are in a hurry. Perfect for a caffeine hit if you are driving away from Glastonbury to Wells or Bath and beyond.

called in for a latte after purchasing something at B&Q opposite. Pretty empty (4.45pm) but staff happy to serve and coffee nice and hot.

Monday this week the whole place is closed all day!!! Thursday Yet again the shop is CLOSED!!! Drive thru open but I dont drive so no coffee for me!! It is a joke this place is pointless being there!!! every week it’s hit and miss of whether it’s open or not… it’s a shame because when it is open it’s thriving!! COME ON COSTA SORT IT OUT!!

Cheerful and very helpful young ladies served politely. One great leaf/tree and the other just needs a little practise. Will definitely be returning.

A great drive-thru coffee shop when it's open. Inconsistent hours, lots of times where it's just randomly closed or just open for drive-thru. Not consistent enough to make the trip out for or to do an hour's work from.

I found the staff very helpful and the tables clean , will definitely be going next time I am near here

Shop was closed with a sign saying to use drive through. We asked about the national coffee club promotion (we had a free drink) and they said that it wasn't working on their machine so they couldn't do it. We asked for an oat latte anyway, then were told they have no oat milk... We decided to forget it. However, we then had to wait ages in the drive through queue to be able to leave the one way system. Won't bother again.

2 times in a row now main door closed and drive thru only! Would make more sense that they close the drive thru and serve everyone through the main door. Terrible management! I can't go to tesco or petrol station either because I'm lactose intolerant.

The Glastonbury branch closes early pretty much every day now. Advertised as open until 8pm but usually closes by 5pm and today was closing at 4pm. Not good enough

Good service and friendly staff

Literally the worst costa coffee. My mum ordered two hot drinks, when receiving the hot drink, questioned the temperature of one of them as the cup was freezing, got a very rude response about it being 140 degrees. Bought it home, max 5 minute drive, the drink was stone cold. Drove back myself to get it remade ‘got told nothing could be done, even though they remembered her querying the temperature and couldn’t make a new one because the machines had now been turned off’. Shame because it was really good when it first opened.

Went to get a couple bits and pieces, arrived later than the predicted time due to opening hours being irregular, arrive to see temporary opening hours opening at 7am. That was fine with me as it was 7:15am but we specifically went to try some new items. Site wasn’t open and 2x members of staff visibly saw me waiting at the door and ignored me. I think one even laughed which was unpleasant. Complained to Costa Coffee HR and they’ve not come back to me either. With so many options around Glastonbury and Street, won’t be using this site again which is a shame as you have interesting products. Train you staff properly and have some accountability and embed importance of customer service, you clearly can see this site is failing from all of the constantly similar reviews recently. If anyone fancies a decent coffee and at the least decent friendly welcoming people, try Cafe Nero in Street down the road!

Went in manager called me fat and stamped on my dog, used him as a skateboard before slapping me in both breasts and calling them pathetic. Also double kicked my disabled son - very disappointing overall! Won’t be returning unless they say sorry.

The M and S food is overpriced and not as good as stuff on tesco meal deal. The coffee was really slow to be made and didn't taste good. Not worth the ridiculous prices.

Poor standard of service. Took payment, didn't know what to do with my Costa loyalty card intially. Took the payment and walked off. Returned and started cleaning Smoothie containers and the work top. Had to get another member of staff to serve me after others had been served who were behind me. Eventually handed two latte glasses with by the top of the rims not the handles (Basic hygiene failure). Asked if I wanted a tray usually always the case. No stirrers available and the coffee was luke warm. Closing time advertised as 1800 arrived 2 hours before this time, but we were obviously in the way of the staff sweeping the floor preparing to go home.

Ordered a coffee and breakfast roll as part of a deal. When I got to the window, only the coffee was given as they'd forgot to put the roll through. They then tried charging full price for the roll instead of honouring the deal I'd wished to order. When I questioned this I was told “the coffee has already gone through so we can't honour the deal“. I stated that this was their mistake and was met with a shoulder shrug so left disappointed instead of being overcharged... Poor service.

Went to try the new maple stuff yesterday around 2:30pm, shop side closed with a notice saying sorry please use drive through. Drive through was also closed, no opening hours on display at all. Suspect this branch may actually be permanently closed? Not surprised really, my previous experience of rude smirking staff (young chap who couldn't quite grow a proper beard) lead me to think they wouldn't last long. This is really sad because when this one first opened this was a really good Costa, the friendly guy with the dreadlocks and what I assume were the old team were great and had excellent rapport with customers but this all changed a while ago.

Went there this morning (Sunday) at 9am, it was closed, says 7am opening time on line.

The shop itself is hardly ever open. Drive thru only so take your chances! I have several times but won't bother again.

C'mon Costa, give us a clue! Went twice last week - notice on door saying store closed and no info on when it'll re-open, so I went to the drive-thru order point and asked...... Answer: "I don't know, I don't usually work here." I asked if anyone else there knew. Answer: "No, the manager's on holiday." Really?????!

Went for a coffee and lunch today as we had enjoyed it before - unfortunately it was closed except for Drive-through. Won't bother again - too unreliable.

Really nice Costa based on a small ind estate. Easy parking. Very friendly staff. Great coffee. Recommend the Salted caramel frappe with coffee. Yum

Had been in here at least once a week with my dog as I’m local. Queued up for ten minutes to then be told rather rudely and abruptly that no dogs were allowed. I was incredulous as the first time I went, the lady was so friendly and welcoming to me and my dog. I questioned it and he said it was under new management with a very smug grin on his unkempt face. Better and cleaner cafes in town to take your dog - Benedict Street Kitchen is five mins away and very dog friendly. Looks like it’s gone down hill in about the first week of new management - tables not cleaned either.

Rude customer service, over charged and terrible drinks that were not to your usual Costa standard. Asked to have them re made as they were tasteless and ended up with drinks worse than the first! Poor standards and in need of some training

My partner and I visited the new Costa coffee in Glastonbury today. It was not busy, with a short queue. It took ages to be served. The man in the queue behind me said "it's a good job it's not busy" a comment I agreed with. Whilst our order was being made, the "Barister" left our order, to deal with a person behind us in the queue, who had been given the wrong order. How rude was that. It took 3 staff members to sort out a wrong order. We, and other customers had to clear our own tables, as all the tables were full of dirty plates and cups. The floor beneath our table was filthy. This was NOT a pleasant experience.

As usual, costs corporate high standard... Unfortunately the toilet doors are too heavy for an elderly person to open on their own... I am aware that this is a teething issue but it should certainly be dealt with as part of snagging the building....

It's a drive throw but if you have a car an caravan or motorhome no drive through, an no parking for such vehicles either... also no decaff as I have a medical condition which I can't drink caffeine 🥺 All in all disappointed
