Costa Coffee in Bromley

Dirty glasses, wet trays and chairs with employees' aprons left on them. I couldn't drink my tea when I saw the dirt encrusted in the glass. I was shocked by the dirt and lack of hygiene of the employees when handling coffee and tea. This is a warning to the owners and managers.

Honestly, I like this Costa but the staff are extremely loud. You can hear every little conversation they have not really enjoyable if you're sitting just to have a bite to eat, specially the girl with red hair.

A spacious, light and airy branch. Kept very clean. A good range of food but would like to see more vegetarian and vegan options. Staff very friendly. This is always my go to coffee shop when in Orpington.

I find that the manager is unfriendly. I make better coffee for myself at home and the recent refurbishment is disappointing. The tables are very small the chairs are hard and the shop has little to no atmosphere

The time changed as soon as had placed order

My delivery was perfect, the food very good and will order again.

Red berry cooler drink was just a thing of ice no drink in it

delivery was fantastic but drinks were not what I ever asked for ask for chocolate and cappuccino with dusting never get the dusting but the driver is always very polite and friendly

Ordered a large coffee, only half a cup of coffee was sent when I opened the lid. No spillage so I assume it was filled like this when it was a large ordered. Not good service at all I didn’t pay for half a cup, coffee was also barely warm not good for a delivery order at all. Better service from Nugent Orpington.

My order was over an hour late. The driver drove to the complete wrong location. Originally the wait time was 15 mins. My drinks were ruined

Missing item and no straw for frappe

They didn’t ask if I wanted my veggie food cooked with meat and did it anyway. Also watched them make drinks, when semi skimmed milk ran out instead of bothering to get a new one out gave me skimmed milk. Was abrupt and rude when talking too us and floor was a mess.

Had hot chocolate and my wife had double shot flat white, satisfied her south indian taste buds

It is a Costa so very much 'what you see is what you get' but the lovely, friendly staff make a big difference.

Visited today 2 May with a friend. Hardly any choice of cakes. Asked for a Toasted Tea cake and told only had these certain times. The staff didn’t seem to care The Costa within Tescos in Orpington has so much choice. The staff there are helpful and friendly. I will be visiting Tesco in future

What I expect from Costa Coffee

Haven’t received my Oder you’ve taken my money left it with a third party and I haven’t received my food

Barista had to redo my coffee as he didn't do it with soya milk. It was a good job I asked & checked as I have a dairy allergy.

Unfortunately the panini I received wasn’t the one I ordered! I’m wondering if that’s why I got an extra cake! So, a little disappointed but still enjoyable.

Worst place in the world to have a coffee. The service is bad. Employees seem like they don't want to work. The place was empty but even so they forgot my coffee I was waiting for 15 minutes and nothing until I complained the employees made an ugly face. Employees are speaking a foreign language very loudly in front of customers. I will never enter that place again.

Hot, Panini completely missing, although I can still smell it in the bag. Driver clearly eaten it.

Great coffee and smooth delivery

So.. 7 of us and a dog. Placed the 1st order then was told no dogs allowed. My sister had to sit outside with the dog so asked for a refund. Order completely mixed up and v slow. 2nd order also v slow. 4 members of staff, 2 messing about and ignoring line of customers. No manager in attendance, no control over level of service. If we'd not already paid and been told about dog rule 1st off we wouldn't have stayed - but there again the service was shocking so won't go back anyway.

Missing item, note in receipt saying “No oat milk” yet did t say what substitute had been used. Worrying as it was for someone who can’t have dairy. Not impressed

The floor was messy with rubbish left on it although the cafe was not busy. The toilet was a disgrace. The toilet floor was wet with soggy napkins or tissues laying about. The coffee was OK

Never any vegan food? Always feels like it needs a good clean.

Charged me for three items even says it on the receipt but when I opened the bag main item I wanted wasn’t in there not impressed infact disgusted that they can’t get a simple order right

Placed my order sat at a table went to get some sugar only to find the holder empty so I asked at the counter only o be told they have run out. So I had to get a refund for my coffee and muffin why my son sat and had his. Last time I will visit will be going to primo at the top of the high street 1/10

If you like coffee costa make a brillaint coffee and my favourite frappe. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Lot of chairs to relax. There also sofa! Very confortable

There's always at least 1 flickering light when i go and a wobbly table not good for those with migraines like me. Always bring sunglasses if that's the case. They always seem to not have in stock what I want to get in this costa...staff are polite though and nice. This costa is always loud when I go from the coffee machine banging? Not the most calming coffee shop I've been to. Decent costa overall.

Nice Costa. Clean and tidy, unlike some...

Not enough staff for the amount of customers that enter the shop. As a result, tables aren't cleaned often or very well and some of the staff are rude because they are under a lot of stress. Not a pleasant experience going into this place.

Just costa in Orpington dosen't offer wifi for costumers

The staff are NOT friendly, the customer service in this place is atrocious. I use to be greeted by a lovely young lady who remembered my order and made me feel comfortable in store but now each time I walk into the store I feel unwelcome, the staff tend to glare at customers instead of greeting with a smile. I don't know what happened to the lovely young lady that use to serve me but I will not be using this store until the staff learn to be more welcoming.

What can I say about my favourite coffee shop

Me and my other half went in there when it was less busy. She ordered a pot of tea like normal I got the same which I don't do but I just wanted a tea too the only promblem I had was a the lady who work there she wear glasses a bit short she charged me for two pots of tea but only gave me one pot that was not a lot between two people I asked why you only gave me one pot not two she said that's costa new rule so I played smart payed for one pot of tea and got aother pot of tea which gave me 2 which was the same price as before so I dont understand why they didnt give me the right amount is only hot water and a tea bag I know I could of had it at home but still she should of not done that. Im staying away from that costa if they want to be like that.

Order was late and cold and the driver said he was on a bike turnt up in a car not thr same a the profile pic of reg of the bike

We placed an order on Just Eat and half of our order was missing, we contacted Just Eat and phoned the Costa in Orpington High-street where we spoke to Alfie. He was such a great help and threw in some cakes for us for the inconvenience, such a lovely guy. He deserves a raise haha

Hopefully I caught this branch in a bad day. Only one vegetarian item of warm food available in the entire store so my party of three had to have cake instead (Marie Antoinette was right!). The server didn't seem to understand my order, even though it was given slowly and clearly and had to read it back with the help of a more experienced colleague. I heard the customer in front of me in the queue have to ask "did you get that?" too. Still, the coffee was as expected. Not sure we'll try this branch again.

Super Milky tea ☕️ I asked for no milk - quite often an issue with this store - don’t read the order clearly just make what they want in a rush or lack or caring who knows

2nd time ordering and perfect again. On time, exactly as ordered and nice and hot.

Busy coffee shop but very nicely done inside. Not a problem with the coffee but staff a bit unclear about which promotions are available. Tried to charge me full price for something that should have been discounted. When questioned, were very unclear about what the offer was and seemed reluctant to give me my money back.

Perfect drinks and perfect delivery. Couldn’t be happier.
