Black forest hot chocolate was amazing

It's Costa shame the prices are high due to rising costs, but can't afford coffee and biscuits

Just been in today at lunch time, pretty appalled to be honest, there didn't seem to be any staff on the floor at all, no one behind the till serving for a good 15 minutes, there was a que of us waiting for a very long time to be served, felt like walking out to be honest I wish I had. 2 blonde ladies eventually came slowly shuffling out of the door behind the bar, gave us all filthy looks not once did either of them apologize to any of us for keeping us waiting for such a long time acted annoyed that we were there. Just got a "what do you do want" style greeting, so unbelievably rude. Rushed making my latte (worst latte I have ever had, way too much foam more like a cappuccino) the one lady who made my coffee I know has been working there a very long time so no excuse really. Overcharged me for my toasty and drink but by that point I was too annoyed and had wasted too much of my lunch break waiting for staff to appear and serve me. I went there out of convenience but I certainly won't be making that mistake again.

Good service and good coffee, place is looking a bit tired and old now though.

Door advertises open until 5pm, they lock their doors by 4:35pm. Half the time they "don't have the ingredients" to make your drink. I always try and avoid.

A nice café, friendly staff and clean, and clean tables.

Quick coffee stop before a late hospital appointment. Very quiet, staff were very friendly.

Couldn't get what I wanted for my son due to a broken blender, but the incredible staff more than made up for it. Friendly and helpful, probably the best service I've ever had in a Costa as both of the staff working behind the counter were really excellent from a customer perspective. The place itself was also very clean, was really impressed.

The coffee is always brilliant and the service is fast and very friendly. Nice personal with friendly, happy conversion and always happy to help with recommendations and suggestions.

Rude staff. The got our order wrong and just scrapped the cream off making a mess of the glass and left chunks of cream in the drink. No milk in the macchiato. Lovely place and setting but poorly trained staff.

Had a nice coffee, but the guy who was serving me kept talking to this bloke who came in to see him instead of getting coffee's ready..he didn't get the milk hot enough so coffee was lukewarm..

Needs updating, more staff as very messy

Unfortunately seems understaffed for a Saturday. Doing their best, but queue doesn't abate.

Отличный кофе! Приветливый персонал. Будьте внимательны на кассе, так как продавец ошибся и посчитал нам два круасана с миндалем в место обычных круасанов, разница не большая, но все же немного обидно. Туалет во время нашего посещения к сожалению не работал. Пришлось воспользоваться туалетом для инвалидов, там кстати дверь нельзя запереть изнутри.

Very dirty blenders no allergen control

Recently they are always lacking ingredients to make the drinks I order.

"Food" was actually just a large latte. So large in fact, that the China cup had 2 handles. Good coffee in a fairly basic setting. Not cheap by any means, but okay.

In my opinion this Costa has lost its way since the last manager left. Some of the staff are still stars but many are new and ill trained. If you are unlucky you can ask for flat white and get cappuccino with grinds in the bottom almost boiling. Often they are short of food as if no one is focussing on stock control. There are better options nearby

The latte I ordered was as you'd expect and served quickly. One toilet was out of action and the accessible toilet could do with the tiles deep cleaning.

Staff are great but bathrooms could be cleaner

Only one member of staff on rushed off her feet can't do everything. I can't fault her very pleasant.

Need to keep an eye on your cream but apart from that good place

Down at heal. 9:30 - Not busy, yet tables not cleared, floor covered with food debris, glass doors covered with finger prints. Not the usual high standard we are accustomed to from our local Costas (Fife)

Amazing coffee as always. Friendly staff and very welcoming. Food nice. Is expensive but worth it. Only let down is the state if the toilets!! In need for a very deep clean indeed. Shame really or it would have been a 5 star rating

Time to get the washing machine repaired, at last. Weeks of drinking £3 coffee from corrugated cardboard is no fun. Staff great.

Costa not at its best due to lack of things to eat, most cakes stands were empty but the coffee was as good as ever, must remember to go in earlier before all the other customers grab the goodies.

All staff are extremely friendly, serve swiftly and are always accommodating of different tastes and needs. Started attending this store late 2016, but back then I never had a love for coffee! It was only when I had been recommended their hot chocolates followed by mochas and over the years fair few different combinations of drinks by store manager Simon I realised my love for their hot chocolates, mochas and after Merton g Ben, their coconut and hazlenut combos that they cannot get rid of me! I have been in love with their hazelnut lattes and mocha ever since. All staff always make me feel right at home and when bringing friends or family into town this is the first store I recommend due to their amazing service. Would highly recommend.

Gone down hill, the toilets dirty....ordered two hot chocolates in a very quiet time staff busy talking for 10 minutes .....didn't get given spoons and the hot chocolate were only half full absolutely shocking the place felt dirty I basically caught covid from the toilet that was a breading ground for all other types of diseases....such a shame 28.9.21

Visited Hereford today and popped into Costa for pur coffee and snack. The girls at the counter were off with the fairies. They missed off most of our order and while sitting there moticed 4 others with the same complaint .Sad as always use Costa and have costa club card . Maybe better next time

Not great for wheelchairs. I had to unlock the second door for the wheelchair user and then the way out had steps.

Nice and quiet had a toasties and iced coffee very good.would prefer to have access to sugar and sweeteners rather than have to keep asking.

Covid precautions good as is the coffee and bacon baps. At 12:14 on a Tues quite quiet.

Good coffee and very friendly staff. Simon, the Manager keeps the cafe safe a well run. He's not afraid to remind people the in-house rules while we are experiencing the pandemic. Excellent!

Went to grab a coffee as just been riding for over an hour was refused services because no face mask even tho I was in a full face cover mother bike helmet with no front air vents stupid as you can get, happy save £5 instead of getting a coffee In the end

Instructed it was only one per household but the 2 in front of me were from the same group, the remainder of whom were outside the shop. I had to ask for sugar which was thrown at me in a bag. I had to ask for a drinks carrier. Not up to usual standards despite Covid 19.

Called into the Hereford branch for a quick coffee an was very disappointed at the state of it.... I've been there many times but thus time the place looked very scruffy an in desperate need of a good deep clean an a coat of paint. Hopefully this was just a one off an the place will soon have some much needed tlc.

Refurb is not for the better. Not a single place really to have a private discussion. Or to have a quiet read.

Hot chocolate a too strong for my taste. Toastie only toasted on one side. Is this a thing in Costa? Music too loud I guess so the staff can hear it over the coffee machine, but very distracting in the customer seating area.

Today coffee was ok My son's hot chocolate was extremely hot which burnt my mouth never mind my son's good thing I tried it before I gave it to him. When I complained they just poured more cold milk in. Check the temp as you serve it 👍 Very disappointed in the whole experience tbh. Staff were weren't that good today shame as I like Costa

Always friendly and gives a local feel. Clean toilets. Seems to run out of medium cups to take away a lot though.

Given cold milk with my Americano, once mixed, cold coffee. Place not cheap so not pleased.

Really friendly. Usual Costa quality.
