Ordered a cheese burger it was cold and raw in the middle. Complained to the manager but she didn’t even do anything. It was like eating a blue steak .Poor service very disappointed will not be eating there again. Everyone could not believe the service we received from all the staff. Don’t waste your money go somewhere else

Nice local pub with good food and some great staff.

Wouldn't recommend. Tried calling 3 times and approached them through social media to make a booking. Phone kept going to vmail, no reply on social media. Decided to see if they could do a walk in. Told fully booked even though car park was half empty; explained that I had tried to book only to be met with a blunt "oh we've been really busy". So what is the point of trying to book if they can't take bookings, ignore the social media and can seemingly turn customers away?

Ordered food about 17:45 and told us latest of 60 mins and the food only arrived at 19:45, as well as the sweet potato fries being burned to black and some of the food being cold. Also, the driver didn't come to the property, they went somewhere else

Lovely midweek roast and a good pint

A great place to stop for food, fair portions, friendly staff and easy to park. Carvery looks good on a Wednesday although haven't tried it, we had the sizzling showstopper. You pick your meat, sauce and accompaniments and it comes out literally sizzling to your table. Very tasty.

The driver was very late, dismissive, and didn't even bother with an apology. Found him to be arrogant, rude, and extremely incompetent. Genuinely feel that you no longer employ him anymore. The Wye Inn were absolutely amazing

Items missing from order not happy

Greeted at the door by who I presume was the landlady, with "name" explained we weren't eating that we just wanted a drink. "Well you'll have to drink outside" no warm welcome or smile. Well I for one will never step foot in that place again. I would highly recommend some training on customer services.

the jacket potato was hard in the middle and uneatable and the two childrens meals were warm but the potato was bare minimum and no taste to the carrots. the other items ordered were ok

Very good breakfast , very reasonable price for what we had . All staff pleasant.

Food was good apart from roast potatoes which were hard in the middle and not at all crispy. Our table was right by the entrance to the carvery and bar so we were constantly getting knocked by people , and children shouting over us. Far too busy for a nice quiet meal for two.some kids were just left to run riot , parents fault but ruined our experience.

Very disappointing. Long queue to order food at the bar. After eventually being served, we were told to wait at our table until called to go to the carvery station. Nobody appeared and, after waiting over half an hour we asked how long the wait would be. We were then told we could go straight away to collect our food. We found nobody waiting at the carvery station so we were bemused as to why our wait was so long. With two hungry young children to entertain, the long queuing and waiting time was frustrating. Food was good but customer service was very poor today.

For the price of what my partner and I paid the food was a disgrace. A bit of chicken and lettuce thrown in a wrap with a few chips which was dumped on the table by a member of staff. I 100% will never set foot here again.

Found a fly in curry but just eat gave me a credit for the meal other meal was good no problems x

Very disappointing meal to say the least. Quiet Monday evening very quiet but yet a 45 minute wait for the food. When the food arrived the rice was hard, the tikka masala was all chicken and no sauce, the poppadom was covered in oil, the naan bread was under cooked. The nicest part was the lemonade. I will not be visiting any time soon. I would give less than a star if it was possible.

Filthy dog water bowl outside carpark entrance door, staff very efficient, but unfriendly and looked miserable, not one smile to be seen, food less than average.

Most enjoyable. Had macaroni cheese and it was lush. Can't remember the last time I had it. Bar staff were lovely. Husband had a mixed grill. Bit overdone but still nice.

First time at this establishment and will be a while before going back. The reason for not wanting to return is a personal one, I can't stand unruly children, and even worse than that are the parents who have no control over their children, and just let them scream and shout and run all around the pub, while you're trying to have a quiet meal. And to add to this is the fact that the staff did nothing to stop it. Food was average, had far better but, also had worse.

Our visit to the Wye was good, food was lovely, but disappointed that we had to pay extra to have salad in place of peas As else were you are not charged for this

Great food and value for money. Myself and my son come here often and we always enjoy weather it be a carvery or from the main menu. Nice clean play area for the children, all the changes that have been made at the pub have made it such a nicer place you should be very proud.

Wow. What a lovely friendly pub... table and surrounding area was nice and clean, i had my Grandchild with me so i was really impressed with the facilities to keep her entertained. The lady that served me with food order was really polite. Food was delicious,well presented and great value. We went to beer garden after eating and again what a lovely area for children to play safely. We will be visiting again very soon. TOP CLASS

Family of 4 review: We came in and ordered food. Half the menu wasn't available with no indication of what was available we just had to keep guessing until the old lady finally gave us the green light. (turned out the most expensive £15 wrap was available) also we had milkshakes that were warm. the place smelt like wet clothes and looked half cleaned. The children's play area smelt strongly of urine. We had to parent the grandchild of the lady who served us, she drank our daughters drink and made it difficult for us to get our own daughter to eat and she was pulling her to go and play. 1/10 awful experience. This once was an amazing pub it's gone down hill heavily.

Had to edit my last review after a recent visit. - menu, layout needs changing. Soo difficult to read it! It used to be much better - found 2 hair in a meal! It was cooked in the egg - only 1 vegan option (excluding chips and side salad). Couldn't find more as menu was sooo difficult to read. - received properly burnt, child size pie - all but one received food was extremely dry. This review is a feedback from all people in the party. We have agreed it was our last visit there.

Food was absolutely gorgeous. The anomaly however: £12 for a carvery when I only wanted vegetables. Yes nut roast is available- allergic. It's not o.k to pay the same for meat and veg when you only want veg. Toby carvery needed in Hereford.

All in all the food was ok, perhaps a little stingy with the custard…

Fantastic service and excellent food

Carvery is £12.95 which is great, you only get one slice of meat if you ask for all three. Unlimited vegetables and you can stack them high as you want. Atmosphere is loud, there's a kids play area at the back which you see kids running around the restaurant back and forth. Staff friendly and constantly moving patrons on to the next cover. Plenty of JustEat and Deliveroo drivers just hanging around the carvery picking up food to deliver. Would be a 5* for food if there was more meat. Meat options were beef, chicken and lamb.

First time having a breakfast at what is my local. Best news ever was that the pub is doing breakfasts! I was not , In any way , dissatisfied . The service was, as I have come to expect, courteous and friendly with an genuine attention to every customer. The food plentiful. Perfectly cooked and frankly lovely. No problem with changes to menu items. I removed 1 item and added 2 and my thoroughly hearty " small breakfast " came to £6 ! Poorly octopus! Can't say fairer than that. Where was no chilli just cheese and kidney beans

We came here for the breakfast and discovered that after paying, if you book a child meal, you are given a plastic toddler plate. Which wasn't enough for 3 pre-teens. We went into the buffet, and the breakfast was overpriced for what you got. The food overall was average but do not recommend the rubbery scrambled eggs. Also including eggshells in the fried egg.The toilets were OK but the children toilets didn't have a lock. There was a lack of atmosphere and the premises was cold. Overall, a fairly disorganised and overpriced operation. Do not recommend.

Took my granddaughter for a carvery really nice, & the young waitress was really helpful, going again next week 👍🏼

Used it as a midweek meeting point with our 3 year old grandchildren. Lovely little play area, friendly atmosphere, very busy but decent food and good value for money. Lots of kids about and a well thought out children's menu.

Staff friendly, food good. I had the All Day Breakfast, and my wife had the Classic Hot Dawys. Food arrived quickly. Both toilets where clean.

Called in today with our granddaughter, she loved the indoor play area. Food was delicious, and for a child's meal deal it cost £5 which is a really good deal for pizza,chips & beans,a drink and a pudding (jelly). The steak & ale pie was so full of meat,& one of the nicest i have ever tasted, so definitely recommend you try it. Service was quick considering how busy they were. Will certainly return in the near future.

Great local pub! Food is always great, the atmosphere is good, and the staff are always friendly. This place can get very busy, but highly recommend! We need more businesses like this one.

Ordered on just eat and I must say the portion sizes are shocking. Spent over £30 and the food was barely £10. Ordered extra chips and there was hardly any in there. For the price they charge it wouldn’t hurt to give a little most on the plate. Absolute joke

Decent family pub. Polite staff. Not a 5 as I save that for places that really go above and beyond. Wife's mac n cheese wasn't great but the kids meals and my and my sisters carvery were good. Well worth a visit, especially as there is indoor and outdoor play areas for kids. That's a real win!

Had a meal with Granddaughter and baby .Staff friendly, highchair available. Food very good. Would go again.

Absolutely amazing food was a bit cold when opened it but very delicious food impressed

I met my son here for lunch on 31st October 23. I ordered the lasagne, which took 15 mins to arrive, which, for me, is a good sign as it was a little busy, and also can indicate some element of fresh preparation. However, when the lasagne arrived, it was just about warm, not hot as the cheese hadn't fully melted on the top. Given that we were restricted to time, I didn't send it back, but I'm unlikely to visit again for food. Service and atmosphere were good, but sorry, the underheated food let it down.

If I could put less than one star I would. Awful place Child size portions and adult portion prices. Was a party of 22 spent a lot of money. Steer clear and go to maccies. Full English was a English, You won't get full off it

Steak and ale pie was delicious and so was the steak - excellent full flavoured peppercorn sauce. The food arrived hot!!

It was a quiet Monday lunch time, so no supprise lacking in atmosphere, they had filled up a bit by 2pm when we left. Seemed to be lots of regulars / locals which is always a Good sign 😁. Food was very nice, two wraps; although it took a while - so ask wait time if you are on a tight schedule. Staff were friendly, and helpful, everything nice and clean, NO sticky tables / bar top.👍

If I could give them more stars I would. Super crispy beer batter and juicy flaky fish is to die for. Only complaint is that I ate it too quickly lol. A great big well done to the chef, u rock!

Don't be fooled. Looks appealing from the outside.. advertising cask ales, good food. Reality is there was one cask ale on tap, which then went off and no offer of changing the barrel. Went to sit at a table, it was sticky, very dull menu, settled on Steak and Ale pie.. didn't have it. Ordered a chilli dog and a blue cheese and mushroom dog. Waited around 40 mins to be presented these awful little plastic trays, with a hot dog in and another with fries in. Purely awful. Basic catering sausage smothered in a powdery sauce. Ended up leaving it and getting the hell out of there.

Some of the food was obviously microwaved, chewy and dry. The best part about the entire meal was the Hartley's jelly pot with the kids meal.
