Costa Coffee in Glasgow City

We are frequent visitors to this establishment and service is always fast and the staff are always polite friendly and ready to help you.

Went to the Costa about 2.15pm Sat 7.8.21. The restaurant did not appear busy. There was a sign on the front door stating no more than 63 people in. There was about 25 maximum. As we entered a female member of staff stopped us and advised that there were no tables free. We could get a takeaway coffee if we wanted. Obviously not, thats why we came in. There was no explanation or attempt to assist. Ie take a seat outside and when a table becomes free, or we'll clean a table for you. Customer service nil point . I am a regular visitor to Costa so have become used to a certain standard of service. This failed on all points, so had to go to McDonalds nearby, who were happy to assist, very helpful. Costa staff take note and back to the drawing board with customer service course, book yourself in for a course.

one man who has serving us the rudest man I have ever encountered we had our masks on we followed all distancing rules I put in track and trace but because I have a bit of a difficulty reading and spelling I put in my details and didn’t realise I had to add my 12 year old sister as a guest... he rudely reapplied “ it is very self explanatory you wear a mask you sanitise your hands you track and trace and Add any guest I suggest you do it now before I take your order. Now I have no problem doing it but the rudeness and talking down to me which become clear possible because we were female ... the rudeness we witnessed towards his female colleagues ( who were so lovely might I add) but the banter he was having with his male colleague ... a few other rude comments and once we sat down we look at the man he was servicing was wearing his mask below his chin and not a word said to this man... absolutely will not come back

downloaded the costa app and placed my drinks for my 2 kids and 1 for me. I go instore then manager says it's only 2 drinks per customer so I showed her my app explaining I get the deal on the App it no issue ....she says Not unless I pay on the app she wouldn't honor it , I explain i don't have my glasses to read my bank card so could she help read my card so I could do it her way on the App she says NO I'm not touching your card because of COVID.....I was ragin as the manager would ACCEPT reading my card number to me but would take my cash so I couldn't get the deal. her staff member even looked shocked at her.

Actualmente son las 5. 35 pm y me detengo después de una compra semanal en ASDA para tomar un café rápido y bien ganado y está cerrado. Indica el horario de apertura en el escaparate y en su sitio web que los domingos abre de 8 a. M. A 8 p. M. Bueno, ahora estoy aquí y está claramente cerrado. Vamos Costa, ¿por qué anuncian los malos tiempos de los negocios? ¡Siento que esta compañía en particular está bajando la rapidez! ! ! !

Light lunch, tea, baguette and lemon tart to share. Good enough and under a tenner. Seats a bit tatty. Toilets a bit unpleasant.

So despite the website saying it is open till 8pm we turn up at 6.20pm and place is closed. Well I say closed, lights where on and there were staff behind the counter. Doors were locked though so couldn't get in and staff just stood looking at you as if your an idiot. No sorry, no explanation, no nothing. 4 of us disappointed not to mention the other folk trying to get in as I sit and right this.

I used to go regularly to this Costa for breakfast but the state of the floors and carpet have put me off. I dont know if they possess a hoover but they obviously never use it. When you go in somewhere first thing in the morning you would expect it to be clean but i unfortunatey looked undr the table i was sitting at and it was filthy...

I like the location, the staff are friendly, the coffee is fine, but can you please clear and clean the tables? This is a real trend at Costas now sadly. DIY table clearing, which is also not hygienic.

Robroyston Costa is a great wee place to go for coffee and a cake. Very bright and clean. Staff really friendly and helpful. Great choice of cakes and sandwiches Pram friendly and plenty of high chairs!

Have always enjoyed this Costa but last 2 visits have been disappointing. Last one, asked for toast and took it back as it was only done on one side. Today, asked for coffees extra hot and they were barely warm, took them back. Only 2 members of staff so tables weren’t being cleared or wiped.

In doing a bit of shopping and wanted a drink. Great hot chocolate and latte. Great service from very personable and efficient staff. Great access, great facilities, very clean and very comfortable. You get what you pay for - no frills but everything fit for purpose.

Can’t believe people write reviews for coffee shops! What can I say it sells overpriced coffee like every other coffee shop. Coffee tastes great though, can be a hit or miss with the iced coffees and flavoured ice drinks depending who’s on and their experience at making those drinks.

Stuck in the middle of a retail park car park. No ambience,no views, drab surroundings. The cafe itself is as good as any Costa coffee house. Let's face it, they are all the same and overpriced. But if you're thirsty ........................!!!!!
