Costa Coffee in North Norfolk

Nice food and super coffee. Highly recommended.

We were lucky to get a table as they were very busy that day, but we had an enjoyable drink and snack served by very polite staff

The staff in Cromer Costa are some if the friendliest I have met in this chain. I would highly recommend going there for this. Food and drink are the same as other stores of this brand but the customer service is second to none.

Another visit here and as per previous ones this branch is on some sort of anti vegan mission. No savoury vegan options unlike every other Costa I go to , which are loads - London, Norwich, Peterborough etc. They stock the lovely vgn Sausage Bap and a vgn toastie. The Cromer branch does not, never has , never wants to just saying no sorry. Why?

Very busy but only two staff appeared to be working. I had a cheese and tomato toasty and you have to stand at the counter to wait for it to be heated and people are trying to get past so you feel in the way. I would be very surprised if there were any cheese in it because all I could taste was a sort of mushy tomato puree, not even proper tomato! Last time I had a brie and something or other toasty and that was dreadful. Tasted of nothing at all.

Coffee and atmosphere was very average, quite expensive for what you get, much nicer places for a coffee in Cromer than this.

Lovely little store, the staff are so friendly and make the effort to remember their regular.

Wonderful friendly, can't do enough for you staff. Excellent costa coffee and great snacks, cakes, sandwiches, salads. What's not to like. One-off my go to places when visiting family.

Didn't like the atmosphere or set out of this Costa and hated the code lock on the toilet door what's that about ? Seems pointless I went in to waste time before an appointment but I wouldnt go back there not very welcoming. and Costa is just getting so expensive for what it is ..isn't worth it the drinks aren't that nice can get nicer ones else where half the price .

Although this is perhaps nicer than the Yarmouth branch (although way less busy) and the staff were just as pleasant and helpful, and there is a code for the toilets on the bottom of the receipt: the ice machine wasn't working and I couldn't have my favourite drink 😭 having to settle for coffee, which was nice in its own way, but put a downer on the whole experience.

The drinks themselves were delicious but when ordering I ordered a small caramel frappe and ended up paying for a medium and got a medium .but then my friend ordered a medium , paid for a medium and got a small .wasn't impressed

Hello, as I have a Costa card and App. I had a free drink to enjoy, so I enjoyed a Frappe which was lovely to enjoy overall I love Costa Coffee.

Stopped at Cromer Costa, lovely hot coffee and food, staff could be more friendly and tables and chairs cleaner but a hot day today. The best Costa is North Quay Retail Park in Lowestoft by far have been to many but still can't beat that one, Staff excellent always willing to help but sometimes under staffed. coffee always good and hot.

Cromer Costa. It's a Costa but with the worst service ever. And why stop serving food an hour before closing?

It's a Costa Coffee, so you know pretty much what to expect. This one is good with a nice layout and good service. The toilets are only for customers and locked, it needs a code that is on the bottom of the receipt to open them. I saw some people not happy with this, however this is obviously to stop non-customers using them which could create a long queue, so is a minor inconvenience to stop a larger one.

Good coffee with good staff to serve it to you

The people in the queue in front of me were fingering several packs of pastries which they then didn't buy. Although these goods were cellophane wrapped, they should have been behind glass rather than available to the public. The person doing the coffee then served the person behind me in the queue before me.

I'm surprised that Costa doesn't make its menu clear, specially its prices, which are printed far too small at the back of the service area.

Terrible service. Took our order then insisted i have a small flat white instead of regular!! Then lost our order so we waited forever.

Extremely friendly and efficient staff, not just to me but I noticed they were kind with all customers. Good selection of cakes on offer. Well stocked fridge and clean tables. My drinks were prepared fast and they were hot which is not always the case. Very pleasant experience. Well done.

Visited Thursday 14th Oct at around 4pm. Four tables had not been cleared from previous customers. Chose one that had, but it was sticky with crumbs and spillage. Obviously not been sanitised for next visitor. Only two members of staff - one serving, one making drinks. It wasn’t very busy though and they spent a lot of time being chatty. First time I’ve been to this branch - only went there because most of the (excellent) independent coffee shops in Cromer close at 4pm. I’ll not go to this branch again.

Not often I post 1 star ratings but while the service was ok and place was tidy I had ordered via the Costa app and arrived to find that half my order wasnt availiable for collection as was out of stock and I have to ring customer services for refund which can take upto a week.. why wasnt the app updated to match stock levels so this wouldn't happen

I only wanted a chocolate brownie but the queue was so slow. There was only one member of staff at the counter (who did apologise to the queue for the slow service) and she took ages to serve one customer. I left without buying anything as I thought that it would be quicker to go home and make some brownies instead.

Walked to Cromer from overstrand, town was very busy,so nipped into Costa for coffee and cake, very pleasant experience, good social distancing.

Popped in as usual on the way for work and I have to say there are busier and quieter days at my local costa but never ever felt that something is not done properly. Staff is always lovely, chatty and they make the best coffee around and that’s why I am coming back all the time! Store is clean, staff always well presented, nice variety of cakes and food! All lovely!

I was looking forward to my breakfast! I bought a latte and a sausage toastie. I was really disappointed. The toastie must have contained no more than half a sausage sliced up.

I'll get the bad out of the way .. we visited lunchtime 17/11/20, everything was slick and impulse buys were sensibly distanced and attractively laid out with obvious thought .. door left open for ventilation, the member of staff making the coffees wearing a face mask, the other member of staff serving very efficiently, friendly but not wearing a face mask. Perhaps she's exempt but is she able to wear a face shield instead? .. the young customer who walked in without wearing a face mask wasn't asked why when he joined a small cluster of people at the back of the room .. they seemed to know him? .. it's weird times for all of us at the moment so minor slip ups are going to and do happen everywhere. Today's put me off going back at the moment even though everything else was excellent. Today might not be the staff's fault to be fair as they can't exactly 'rugby tackle' non mask wearing customers walking in.

Having worked in customer service most of my life I was really disappointed with the service in the Cromer branch. I'm a big fan of Costa but really didn't enjoy my experience today. The male staff member runs around making himself look busy and barking orders at the customers "stand on the left outside" only to stand there and be told ,to his left not ours. Then when seating in a "rule of six" situation, no tables for 6 and I was unable to add a chair, which I understand, but again, felt like I was being told off and ordered a opposed to requested politely. It's not difficult to be nice and to treat people with respect. I felt uncomfortable and will not go back. There is no clear indication what you need to do here, do we wait outside, or not, can we come in, who knows, it's not clear?!?

2.15pm and hardly anything on offer to eat. Disappointed. Staff were helpful, assisted my disabled partner to our table and toilets. Just dissatisfied with lack of food.

Costa in Cromer They need more customer service tips on how to phrase their words and how to choose a tone to deliver them, Was told stand to the left out the way of the door by one then told to stand outside by another , then go to the back there is a table for 4, hmmmmmm not cleaned ! So did that myself. Not the Best Costa I've been in so hence my low star rating

Great location in town very clean but surprisingly few people here even though they applied covid 19 regulations extremely well . Nice decor ,spaced out well so a relaxing venue .

I prefer notrthwalsham costa... A fly terrorised the fearful cakes in the display case... Landed on the cakes and they remain in he window so much anxitey... The coffe i bought was a lie... Rated as one star as a result of this.... However the woman was very kind and patient through a busy period. Changed my coffee free and funny chat, simple mistake bants for days
