Customer service is very poor, needs to be improved.

We arrived at 0900 Sunday at the orient Trafford Centre stating this opening time on website but the staff told us its actually 0930. As usual coffee was fine here's the but... the chair arms and furniture are absolutely caked in filth. Never been cleaned by looks, food still on floor from previous day, glass window full of finger marks, and shelfs full of dust and they want customers to pay these extortionate prices for food. The manager should be ashamed for not ensuring hygiene and cleanliness. A lovely location spoilt by a lack of leadership and professional standards. Shame on you costa for allowing this disgraceful mess. Crisps dried bread and grease marks everywhere. Utterly disgusting 🫣

Service was friendly, efficient and speedy, the quality was top notch, I have never had a hot chocolate (in the ~3 million I've drunk) that could be described as a masterpiece before, but today, definitely fits the one I was served, wow, it had whipped cream mountain on it. My hog roast toastie was on point. And, I tried the biscoff cheesecake, it's nice, but could do with a stronger biscoff flavour to it.

Wanted a coffee and cake I got what I wanted fine but my wife couldn’t get a gluten free cake, this is normal but annoying anyway.

Worst service. Staff so bland, don't seem to understand how to smile or speak to customers. Staff need more customer service training.

Really slow service and loyalty points machine now been broken for 3 weeks so can't earn reward points! In an update it's still not working now in 4th week, you're told that any Costa can add the points for you from your receipt but this is not true I've tried - other Costas say they cannot manually add points earned in an Odeon Costa!

They will serve you fast if they like your skin colour. even manager will say what can I do

Trafford centre Costa was filthy....slow service, filthy tables...disgraceful, especially when there are so many other places to sit and have a hot drink.

Very poor customer service at Manchester Trafford , the one on Odeon cinema. The lady at the till is not friendly at all. By mistake we scanned the card to the donation and just wanted her to give a feedback to the company that it is not the right place for the donation machine with verisign logo to be placed close to the actual pay machine. She was defensive and body language was rude.

Decent coffees, no different to any other Costa

The sicilian lemon muffin omg delightful so fresh and just yummy! The staff smiling and nice, the buttery chocolate biscuits were also just devine so many choices on drinks a nice all round treat.

Had a latte & g/f flapjack dissapointed not much choice gluten free.

If you want to queue forever despite observing a huge number of staff behind the counter and then be served drinks that have been made correctly and sit at a table that hasn't been cleaned in hours (if not days) then this is the place for you.

The staff here need to learn about not talking all the time while customers are stood waiting and they just look at you and carry on about what boy they are dating this week....I don't care, just want coffee

Very long que. One staff taking one order at a time, as the que grew bigger. Another couple of staff hiding in the back. Disappointing.

Gave me wrong order however they fixed it free of charge which gives them a star

Very disappointed with Costa on this occasion no high chairs for the little boy and had to wait over 20 min for a coffee and hot water for his dinner they didn't even offer to bring it over so I could get him settled at a seat whilst he was crying honestly so upset with them today I really didn't need this.

Just been now have been join queue about 5 min than one young lad has come and told us they have closed I said you served people before us and we just want take out coffe and we are on queue why? Just told me sorry and time is 20.40 why? Close your door than if you are not serving

I’ve got a carrot cake on 24 April. I think it was from two days ago very hard and dry.

Whenever I get drinks from here they always turn out bad. Got a mocha and all the powder was stuck at the bottom, mint choc chip frappes are like water. Wouldn’t recommend.

The hours work on "quota " apparently I've turned up once again when opening hours say open and they're once again closed! It's like the 7th Saturday now and they've done it mid week too, only wanted a babychino for my daughter, she loves them so after we've watched a film she likes to get one to go 7th time she's been disappointed now so I asked why Google says they're open and yet again they're not and their response was "We've hit quota so we're closed" If they're going to do stuff like this they should update their closing times regularly because this is the latest time we've turned up aswell last time it was 6pm

Costa in Trafford Centre was poor service & my toastie was like rubber, the coffee was ok but not very hot & no condiments Pepper/Salt etc. Very poor for the price we paid £4.50 for 2 slices of white bread with cheese & less than half a tomato 🤷‍♀️

We took black forest hot chocolate and cream. The hot drink was flavorsome. It wasn't that pricey and the overall vibe of the cafe was sporty, warm, and vibrant. 💯

Not enough words to describe this experience. Definitely one of a kind. If I could have given less of a rating then it would have been a zero. The staff are unreal, their willingness and desire to actually want to serve customers are well below the lowest of expectations. Genuinely concerned for the franchise of Costa! Mockery to watch and for some reason they kept mixing skimmed and semi skimmed milk into the same jug for the tea!

Trafford costa is always busy. It is so difficult to get the things quickly. I think Trafford needs another costa

Very disappointed. The staff were not friendly, the red head girl in particular. Coffee was watery with no froth or flavour. Will not come back here again.

Staff seemed very miserable. The guy serving literally didn't even look up once when serving customers. I ordered a gingerbread latte but ended up with barely any gingerbread syrup and literally no froth on them. Very disappointed as costa is usually good

Me and my friend really enjoyed ourselves at this Costa that overlooks The Trafford Centre, with no screen at the counter like some and helpful, friendly staff! I had a delicious white hot chocolate, sitting comfortably at a clean table.

Had coffee and cake that was fine not enough staff cleaning the tables far to many full off pots people putting them on other tables to get a clean one

Long queues and very very slow staff. Cortardo's taste like hot milk. Strongly do not recommend.

More than half the frappes advertised were unavailable, then the mint choc chip u got was so strong with mint, it was disgusting and undrinkable. Always run out of the fudge frappé I went twice in a forthnight not a single fudge frappé and kept coming back and checking

Something has changed! That something is staff who are clearly stressed out and kind of depressed and moody! I mean, I get it, there's so many customers passing by wanting s quick drink, that as a barista, you will overheat and get tired as the day goes by. But the misery on their face was just off-putting! Girl that asked for what we'll be having was not rude, but was so sad looking that my little daughter asked me if she's unwell! Person getting things ready had an attitude which is not needed i.e. rolling her eyes, throwing her head left and right whilst raising her hand, and then telling me how I need to ask her instead of taking a tissue was just immature and unnecessary. But it's not the fact that she said that, it's how she said! I'm not sure why they take this job if they know how demanding it might get when peak hours?! Also, cutlery was dirty, tables & chairs messy, trays not collected on surrounding tables for the whole duration we sat there (40+ minutes)! Not worth the hassle for the next time, rather visiting a nice café somewhere else inside Trafford Centre. Used to been great! Current staff inexperienced in how to speak and behave around customers!

The staff need to be taught and trained on how important customer service is, and also on how making coffee correctly. Our pastry was cold when asked to warm up, and the coffee’s were cappuccino weren’t froffy. Staff were quite rude, experience wasn’t great. I think the staff need better training…

Was ok, nothing special, service was average.

Disappointed. Had to wait long time as customers been asked to fill the track and trace before they pay for their order. Absolutely ridiculous. Nothing will change in this place as staff look so demotivated.

Nice staff and venue for Costa, the Americano lovely as always and yes they have almond milk, place was busy but staff had it in control.

Staff's are rude. My cappuccino were too strong and i requested for extra milk which was totally ignored by saying 3 shot for medium cappuccino is normally a bit strong. I always have costa compare my local brach this one was completely different.

A bit nasty but then again it's in the Trafford Centre so fits in well. Indifferent service on this occasion and not particularly nice coffee either. TopGun Maverick on the Dolby screen, Odeon on the other hand was fantastic - a definite second viewing needed.

Leaving a review only because every time I have gone past this costa I always want to grab a coffee either on my in the trafford centre or on the way out but the last handful of time I've tried to get something off the menu may it be food or a drink they always seem to be out of stock or something is broken or the staff can't be bothered regardless of the time of day I've nipped in.

Wouldn't let my son use the toilet despite the fact we had been in the store 20 mins as paying customers. They were literally just locking it up so wouldn't have killed anyone to let him in at that point. Such a petty response to say no... *rolleyes*

We wandered in for a coffee before a late night movie, the Costa team, despite just starting to clear up on what's probably been a very busy Saturday didn't hesitate to make us feel welcome, in particular the gentleman who served us. Top marks for the whole team!

Nicely located on the edge of the Food Hall at the Trafford Centre, this Costa outlet is open, airy and has plenty of natural light. Usual fare of drinks and snacks are available served promptly and efficiently by welcoming staff.

Your average Costa coffee, just a bit less clean. Coffee was great though.

The manager and one of the member staff are not professional. I took item to buy from the shelf . The staff said to me you are not aloud to buy it because I can’t find in the system. I said it is not my problem. He told me that he is going to call the security because I was rude. Ok go to security. Later I called his manager. Guess what his manager said .. she said that he was right because we can’t find the item in the system. I said that’s enough you shouldn’t be manager.. I will never ever go to all Costa .

This is the Costa Coffee based in the actual cinema part. Friendly staff on serving, clean counters and dining area. We ordered 3 brownies. Lovely and soft with a caramel topping. Lots of other sweet selections and sandwiches.

Sadly ....lots of tables were free, but not cleared , staff just served but definitely didn't seemed interested in clearing tables from previous customers .

Staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. My only gripe is the state of the Coffee shop in the main food hall. Tables were dirty and two full bags of rubbish were on display during my time there, as I ate my pasta bake and cappuccino. Come on Costa get your act together!

Costa packet only went because every other outlet were packed

Costa pretty standard coffee, average, served too hot so tasted burnt. There was a huge line too, the staff however were great, they served coffee with a smile and were friendly throughout. Only visited due to lack of other good choices for coffee. Cappuccino was far too much foam and not much actual coffee.

Not impressed long queue, sent decaf coffee back, it tasted very weak had to send back, replacement was spot on.

Can't fault any Costa coffee shops. Love the coffee, food and the friendly service they provide always on point! At my local one, spindles in oldham, because I worked close by, got to know them well, love it and miss it ❤

I love Costa, it's my go to place when I want a good breakfast and lovely coffee. I like the Trafford centre branch as there's lots of fresh and it feels cool.
