Costa Coffee in Wakefield

Out of all the Costa's we have visited Abi makes the best salted caramel frappe .

Nice Costa not a lot of parking places had to park across road at subway

Didnt send me an almond croissant i ordered or the maple hazle latte. Just sent me a hot chocolate, like bruh, thats the opposite to coffee.

I have always bought Costa because they ( unlike starbucks and the other one with the blue logo) had always paid their taxes. Not sure if that's the case now Coca Cola own them. I will have to reserch that one!

The place was filthy all tables full with used cups ect floor covered in crisps staff reluctant to work and clean come on costa get a grip ( went to mc D instead)

It’s a costa, grab a bite to eat whilst waiting for a shop to open. Worst reheated experience ever. Note to self do not buy microwave reheat food from costa Sorry no photos as phone had died

Love Costa coffee just went shopping the only thing is if you won't too sit out side and there is a smoker it's not nice and the woman in the photo is not very nice

Always a good cup of coffee and the breakfast deal is great

They did not call me to ask me if I wanted anything else other than Mac cheese as they’d left me a note in the bag to say they’d ran out! No tea for me today.

It is a good location for a meeting in Wakefield. Staff and service was much better than other branches that’s why i gave service 5 stars as they deserve it, the staff there welcomed me with a smile, took the order and offered to bring it to my table. The atmosphere is nice but the only issue i faced in almost all branches is the cleanliness, I don’t know why they don’t care about it, always dirty toilets and tissues are everywhere on the floor, always dirty tables, coffee everywhere around the coffee machine. This definitely needs to improve. The place has their own car park and it’s free for 3 hours

Missing half of the order and the contact number is no longer in service

Ordered “food” only received my drink and now saying phone lines are closed so can’t even get the rest. Outrageous to be honest

Staff are always polite, Joel and Charlie always make time to talk if you want to!

The coffee is Costa so you know what you're going to get, but the parking availability is terrible. Grossly inadequate.

This was a brilliant chain for a food stop, with a counter showcasing all the options. The design is stylish with its patterns, seating is comfortable and my cinnamon roll was delicious!

We love to call here for a bite to eat and a nice coffee. Just nice to sit and relax after shopping.

Very disgusting taste hated it the strawberry cream frap was disgusting so was the mocha also the iced coffee I ordered brownies and they gave me the wrong item very very disappointed

Drink was extra sweet and delicious. Delivery was slightly early.

I didn't receive my breakfast wrap. Only the coffee. I don't get how they can charge you for something and not tell you, and still charge you, if they don't have it in the menu they shouldn't advise it.

Disgusting won’t be ordering ever again I said this last time but I thought I’d give it another shot the pasta I got sent was mouldy and looked like bogeys was inside it. The last time I ever ordered this meal I didn’t even come and didn’t get refunded I don’t know why I even do it I feel robbed by this disgusting company

Didn’t get a single thing right on my order, I only ordered Mac and cheese and a brownie and they sent me a veggie panini and some sort of onion flat bread, and a slice of chocolate cake, absolutely useless, I wouldn’t recommend anyone ordering from here, I should of read the reviews first as it clearly is something that happens all the time.

Sent all butter shortbreads instead of the cookies and cream bites

The innocent smoothie was never sent with the order despite paying for it. The food was freezing cold. Absolutely terrible

Nice little place convenient. Order wrong but corrected with no issue. Very busy and unfortunately the tales were very untidy but it couldn't be helped they were hammered! Staff all helpful and peppy even though they were all running ragged!

I can honestly say I have never met happier teams when visiting Costa. It doesn't seem to matter where I go, there is always a happy atmosphere and great customer service X

Absolutely incompetent. Waited in the drive through for 10 mins as the girls inside were just chatting and laughing, just do your job. Really isn’t that difficult? If you hate being there so bad, just quit. No need to hold us all up whilst you guys chat fully aware cars are all waiting

Very slow preparation. Even drive-though for only two drinks was a very long wait.

Was busy so service was slower. Food and coffee as I expected. Store design needs sorting out whilst there a lady in a wheelchair and a parent with a pushchair could not get past how tables had been placed restricting access to facilities.

Just returned from holiday at 4am and after a short sleep wanted breakfast as there is nothing in the house. I order 4 bacon baps and 1 flat white through your just eat app at a cost of £23.04. The driver eventually brought 1 flat white and 0 bacon baps. I complained on the justceat app who are looking into a refund of £17.56 so currently if I get a refund I’ve still paid nearly £6 for a flat white and I have no breakfast for me or my children. This is not acceptable

Coffee nice not tried food, always really busy when I’ve been inside always had to clear a table to sit down every table full of dirty cups and plates etc never seen anybody clear them the whole time I’ve been sat drinking my coffee either will find somewhere else to visit in future

Ordered two pizza wraps , got a breakfast wrap and a chicken fajita wrap with Avocado in it, girlfriend is allergic to avocado and didn’t feel the need to note this as it was not what was ordered

Probbly one of the dirtiest costas ive been in! Cold coffe, semi warm food, tables full of dirty cups and plates...

Coffee was to usual standard and a decent sandwich. Not much atmosphere on a wet Saturday afternoon.

I tend to have a take away. But I have chatted to people in the queue. Nice staff and I had a lovely whit hot chocolate with the trimmings. Very indulgent and yummy.

Love the coffee but it is expensive.

Ordered two iced mochas in the but there was only half a cup in both and no ice. So when we took it back one girl tried to make out as though they don't put ice in an iced mocha but another girl quickly took over and replaced the order and made them really nice.

Costa always delivers a good quick service and a nice tasty flat white coffee ☕ it was fairly quiet on our visit between 13:00 and 14:00 Friday. Thanks 👍😊

I ordered it at 08.56 said will be here 9.15-9.25 then it changed to 9.25-9.45 at 10am still nothing at 11am still saying between 9.25-9.45 then it said it was delivered at 9.18. I never received it

Send me wrong items paid £5 plus for pasta and got a toastie instead of pasta

The staff are really friendly , after the revamp the decor is vibrant and clean , I had a gorgeous warm croissant .

Nice coffee and staff. But too many people sat working on lap tops and taking loads of seats up. Same people every time we go in. 1 person takes 2 /3 seats up. Laptop on table coat on another chair and bag on a chair too

Good coffee but the cheese toastie wasn't the best. I prefer starbucks tbh!

All the staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Clean with a lovely atmosphere.

Would have been a 5 star but the air con was a little too cold making the atmosphere less welcoming. Food ok but pricey, ordered 2 coffee but although they were supposed to be the same , they were definitely of different strengths The tables could have been cleared a little faster but the staff were friendly and helpful when asked. It's placed on a shopping estate with other known highstreet stores, so a good place to come and shop. Thank you.

Staff need a lesson in communication and customer service , people waiting ad staff stood texting on their phones in front of waiting customers , poor service and shody staff service lack of customer service through out

The number of times in the last 6 months we have visited and they can not do iced drinks is unbelievable! Stopping using this shop!

I just love Costa coffee places, mainly for the hot drinks, if I'm not sitting in then I just have to get a drink to takeaway

Fast service and great staff. Was busy but not too loud so you could still hear your own conversation. All available tables were clean.

Although Costa coffee is a bit pricey, it's still nice to have a relaxing drink. The staff in general are very polite and knowledgeable. There is mot loud music and therefore can meet up with family and friends without competing with outside external noises

Called at the Drive Thru early morning, great selection of food and drinks available. Very quick and friendly service.

Having never been to Wakefield before I met a friend at Westgate retail park for lunch . Restaurant wasn’t busy just slow serving . After ordering and almost £20 I asked if they could bring things to the table and the answer was no . However whilst sat in Costa I did notice people were having there food orders brought to the tables. To the server Taylor you may have bad moments but we all do ! I certainly felt annoyed and won’t visit here again. Bad service , bad attitude equals bad review.

Lovely place had a cake and a coffee little girl had a hot chocolate with cream flake and marshmallow she loved it. Very friendly staff

A convenient place to grab a cup to go, but the usual expensive prices let it down.

I didn't realise their coffee was so obscenely priced. Hot chocolate is expensive and horrible. Service is always so so so slow. 15 minute wait for just 2 drinks
