Costa in New Forest

Comimos como reyes. Un café estupendo y dos sándwiches de pollo, tocino y queso. Wow, muy sabroso y con un 50% de descuento. Bariga llena y corazón conento. Y mi cartera, también esta feliz!

Refused to let my dog and I in. Luckily I found a great independent coffee shop just down the road that welcomed us both.

No foods at all. No apologies. Ridiculous. So many people asking for food like croissants but being turned away

Awful, first the guy did my order wrong and when I said about it he just said “I assumed that’s what you meant” “and I’ve been working here for 6 years” good for you mate but you can’t just assume… if you no longer do a certain flavour then say! I asked him to make me a new coffee just plain with oat milk but he did it with full fat milk without telling me… I’m elegiac to full fat milk so now I’m in bed very unwell… I only had 2 sips. It’s shocking, I believe he did the full fat milk on purpose too. Awful person, awful service!!

Wow, cannot believe the prices now £3.80 for a medium coffee, we used to come here a lot, now it will be once a week, and a pity as staff are very good. Cant justify £7.60 for 2 cups of coffee.

Very nice branch of Costa. Not overly busy when we visited on a Sunday afternoon. It was easy to get a good seat at the front window to people watch. The coffee was it’s usual good standard. The staff were OK. It was a clean shop. Difficult to park nearby.

I have tried all 16 coffee shops in Lyndhurst but this is my favourite and I tell you why. The coffee is of fine quality as is size. Other places charge much more for smaller. Sometimes as bonus I buy cake or sandwich and Sometimes these are on special offer. Last but most high in importance the staff are very fine. Friendly and courteous and the cafè is nicely decorated and well set out. Relaxing and a hint of sophistication. This is best place to come for fine coffee, service and good atmosphere and quite good value.

It's always clean and tidy in Costas Lyndhurst. The staff are very nice too.

Habiendo leído todas las reseñas de este lugar tenía que probarlo por mí mismo. Lo que quiero en un café son tres cosas, café excelente por supuesto más buen servicio y buena relación calidad precio y eso no quiere decir lo más barato. Pues dónde empezar, antes de nada es muy fácil encontrar este café ya que está se encuentra en el corazon de Lyndhurst muy cerca el aparcamiento. Al interior es muy sofisticado y sencillo en un estilo tradicional y las sillas son muy cómodas. Lo más importante es el café y muchas veces me he quedado decepcionado en otros sitios, pero hoy no. Todo lo contrario. Café muy sabroso, sin amargo y muy suave con exactamente la fuerza adecuada. El personal era muy amable y profesional y estaba claro que conocían muy bien su trabajo y cómo tratar a sus clientes.Y por último, a mi juicio, ofrecen una buena relación calidad-precio. Un café excelente, un servicio inmejorable y un ambiente estupendo. He encontrado una joya de café. El mejor en Lyndhurst y recomendado sin reservas. La próxima vez probaré un pastel o postre. Cinco estrellas naturalmente. Y aunque hay un monton de otros cafés nad que comparar que Costa Coffee. Sencillamente el mejor.

Nice friendly staff, drinks and food the usual Costa standard, 5/5 for a Costa, independent places have more atmosphere but this is as good as any Costa I've been to.

End of day visit so obviously not as many sweet treats as normal. Friendly and quick service. Not busy so more relaxed. Always a good latte.

Your typical Costa coffee shop. Perfect for a coffee and a quick snack. I thought it was a bit noisy and a tad expensive which is why I docked a star.

Horrible coffee here, also Costa in a small lovely town like lyndhurst is horrible, go to the small tea rooms and cafes, they are much better, even if its 50p more than costa prices. The small locally owned cafes need us, forget costa!

I’ve tried this costa multiple times. It’s like they don’t listen to my order (simple coconut milk latte) undrinkable on a few occassions, as they’ve added some sort of flavour. Very slow service, never had the same issue in any other costa !!

We were in a rush so came here rather than one of the independent cafes which were very full. Same as other branches with regular cleaning

Sea como sea cuando quieres cafè estupendo y postres deliciosos solo tienes una buena opccìon y eso es Costa Coffee. Simplamente combina sofisticacìon y cafè clase mundial y es excelente relacìon calidad-precio.

I find it incredible that Costa Coffee is open when all of the cafés are closed why are they allowed to stay open and no one else

This branch like a few in the Forest area charge higher prices than the the larger town and city Costas. Ordered Terrys Hot Chocolate £3.80 no cream as they had run out. No Terrys chocolate offered had to ask but guess what run out. So most of the ingredients missing but no apology or of course reduction in price.

Guau. Una taza de cafè pero no sòlo un cafè. Un panecillo frambuesa y un panecillo chocolate es la perfecta manera para pasar el domingo.

Drinks ok but store manager doesn't seem to know what she's serving to customers. Ruby hot chocolate with the flake in the bottom of the cup and a measly bit of cream on top with marshmallows floating inside. Irish sprinkled frostino latte without the frosting. Track and trace not encouraged. Overall performance could be improved.

I forced to order twice as the staff could not understand. I wanted my drink with coffee and she forgot to pour coffee in it and the drink lost its taste totally. I tried to seat in the cafe and another staff saw me struggling with the table full of left over cups and dishes on the table, he ignored and started to clean other tables. Could not be worse than this.

Hoy me despetè muy temprano y mientras limpiando mi casa de repente me di cuenta que querìa cafè y un postre pero porque no tenìa un postre en casa entonces me pensìa "por què no ir a Costa coffee". Por supuesto Costa coffee es muy sofisticado y bastante barato y Lyndhurst es mi sucursal favorito. Cuanto llegamos entonces tenìamos un poco miedo pero con cuidado podrìamos tener una experencìa muy buena. Lo que pasa es que a veces hay que correr un pico riesgo pero con mucho cuidado es que vale la pena.

Guau. Donde empezar. Antes de nada este lugar es listo para recibir clientes y como era de esperar el cafè es fabuloso y los postres mismo. Bienvenido de cuenta Costa Coffee. Te he echado de menos.

Friendly people willing to help...

Been this weekend, as we were up this way on holiday for a few days. Had drinks and cake. It was very busy, the drinks were ok but the two different cakes we had were stale. We eat these same cakes at any Costa we go too so we know what they are meant to be like, and these we defintely stale. So busy else we would have gone and told them and got a refund, so just left them and will not buy any cake there again in the future. Makes you realise they must just keep them there till they get sold however long that takes. I have better nicer ways to spend my money!Great location though, and parking is nearby in a pay meter.

After a long journey we stopped off at Lyndhurst for refreshments, there is a large pay & display car park at the rear of the cafe. We had a warm welcome on entering the premises where we ordered our drinks at the counter there is a selection of cakes as well if required. The drinks were freshly made & then you help yourself to sugar. The premises are a reasonable size with various seating options available. The drinks were hot & were very good. There are also toilets to use if required in the shop. If you are visiting the new forest & looking for a break after a long journey or somewhere to have a drink then it is worth while going here & have a look around the village while your there.

popped in for coffee and had cake too, love their blueberry muffins and millionaire cake. service was good, found an empty table, enjoyed our break. tables were clean, staff were happy.

Cuando estàs exigente el mejor entonces tienes solo una opcion. Tienes que visitar este lugar, es muy sofisticado y el cafè es simplamente fantastico y sobre todo los trabajadores muy simpatico. Por si no fuera bastante es posible tiene almurezo menos cinco libras. Mi favorita restaurant de Lyndhurst.

Mientras comprando de Lyndurst, de repente me di cuenta Que necesitaba un cafe y aunque considere otra lugares sin embargo fui Costa coffee. Todo el tiempo venden cafe delicioso y los obreras siempre muy amable. Es un experencia afuera del mundo. Esta lugar es mi favorita de Lyndurst y espero Volver pronto.

Always enjoy my visit to Lyndhurst, to visit Costa, although there are many more Coffee shops, nearer my home in Southampton. Staff are always friendly and helpful and make me welcome. Always remember me probably because I visit so frequently.

Apart from the card machine not working, the experience was very positive. I had my first 'Frostino' and loved it. Plenty of seating and free newspapers to read made this a relaxing 45 minutes

We called at Costa at Lyndhurst while we were staying at Lyndhurst the reception and service was excellent and welcoming particularly from Georgina which made us want to return ! We will certainly call again when next visiting the area.

Another fabulous luncheon utilizing the special 4.95 meal deal and, what a surprise, half price carrot cake. Delicioso. Really moist. Perfection personified. Top staff too.

Nice little Costa with nice staff.

Staff ok, service fair and food and drinks good. BUT, the cleanliness leaves an awful lot to be desired. Sticky tables, dirty floor and counters and filthy toilets. I even had to witness a poor elderly lady have to wipe up a huge spillage on a table with HER OWN serviettes while her husband ordered their drinks, that the staff just ignored. Another problem about the toilets is how dark they are. Just 1 dim light for a large room. Take my advice and just go elsewhere. The Greenwood Tree Café and the Forage Deli across the road are much better and the Forage has outdoor seating for sunny weather.

As nothing but coffee shops opens in this town before 10am breakfast maybe necessary and this new pot is just great. Large double fronted unit, usual fare otherwise and friendly staff

As always the staff here are fantastic and the coffee is always of a high quality on this occasion accompanied by a piece of indulgent millionaies shortbread which proved very tasty indeed.

We had a pit stop at the Lyndhurst Costa Coffee shop and were greeted with smiling and welcoming staff. Good selection of cakes to enjoy with our salted caramel latte! Very clean and looked after, overall definitely a good example of this massive chain!

Excellent customer service from the staff and a very fine coffee together with complimentary newspapers make this top place for a relaxing coffee and snack.

A Costa is a Costa is a Costa as far as brand goes. Drinks and food offering is the same. What should set each one apart is customer service and ambience. Strangely thus one has neither! I would hope that staff are trained to automatically make drinks in China cups or glass glasses if drinks are being 'had in' but our barista automatically opted for plastic cups. Before she had used them I asked if we could have proper glass ware and she shrugged and got two glasses out! If it's possible, why us it not the norm? In this climate of global warming and need for change thus is an obvious one Costa could take the lead on. Ambience was interesting, with one staff member choosing to clean the wall posters while we were (and other guests were) sitting next to or under them with a silent spritz of sanitiser and a hunk of blue roll. An interesting task to be done at lunch time while there were still uncleared tables. Otherwise, toilers were clean enough and the drinks were nice and the food was tasty. It would just be nice if management looked at what they coukd do to make their unit the best it could be.

Nice and polite on a very hectic Easter Sunday. Nice and clean inside and air conditioning was lovely on a very warm day!

The usual Costa. Nice staff. Place okay on Main Street. Coffee and food nice - only get what you pay for. Disappointed with the toilets. Very usual. Not clean. Smelly. Even my hubby commented, which is strange for a man to notice!!

The hot chocolate in Costa is good and when it comes with a warm welcome and great smile from Georgia and Becks it can only improve the experience.
