Costa in North Somerset

Drab run of the mill shop serving luke warm diluted over priced coffee!!!

Frappe had on open top and leaked everywhere spoiling the sandwich and my floor

Went in after a long shift to get a coffee for my partner on my way home, ordered a large vanilla extra hot cappuccino. As a costa worker myself I was extremely disappointed at the standards I was met with. I was served by a tall brunette boy who took my order with no incentive, simply allowed me to scan my costa card and used my free drink without asking. He proceeded over the the machine, didn’t purge the steam arm before or after - didn’t even wipe it. His tamping was messy, and his milk was burnt, meaning when I took the lid off my drink it looked like the below. Extremely disappointed. People use these free drinks to gain a treat when they can’t afford to pay for one.

Visited for a coffee with my wife. Unfortunately prices have gone sky high both for food and drinks. Also people are turning the cafe into an Internet base come library plugging in there lap tops and phones taking up tables for long period of time and reading books. Many times my wife who is disabled and I have had to go elsewhere as there are no seats available due to people using the cafe as a work station. We used to be regular customers but have now decided to take our custom elsewhere.I have brought this issue up many times in previous reviews or feedback requests yet nothing has ever been done. Time to now move on.

We like the coffee here. Service was fine.

Not a good experience here. I was waiting to be served for a few minutes as staff were busy (not their fault) but 2 of the 3 staff members looked me dead in the eye and didn't say anything, couldn't even be bothered to give me a smile back. Usually you'd expect a quick, "Be with you as quick as we can," etc. Coffee was bitter and didn't have the usual smooth Costa flavour and they forgot to put in the syrup I paid extra for. Had to go back and ask for it.

Met my wife here so obviously love it!

Had lunch with 2 friends- think £27 for 3 toasted cheese sandwiches and 3 coffees was a bit expensive! Had to ask 3 times for the table from previous customers to be wiped first!

Didn't go in there as was waiting for my bank to open

Staff are lovely but can be really cold in here sometimes so wear ya woolies! The music is an odd morning playlist for the clientele, very modern for mostly older people! Cakes & drinks usual high quality & offers on the app. useful though - yay!

Costa Coffee is always one of our favourite coffee shops. This one in Weston - super - Mare was let down slightly by it's lack of tidiness, I don't expect to have to clear and wipe down a table first so we can enjoy our coffee and food. My wife litterly picked up the blue paper roll herself to wipe down the table whilst a member of staff just watched her and didn't offer to do the job herself. The coffee shop wasn't exactly that busy. There appeared to be a lack of staff.

Good clean place with plenty of places to sit. Costa coffee as per usual is fairly good.

The barista was very friendly and chai latte was prepared good.

I’m not happy with the fact that as soon as I opened the door, my delivery driver had spilt my whole coffee and the only thing he said was issue a refund and you can take this and put it in the bin and gave me the bag that was pouring out coffee from the bottom of it. For him to be able to spill this drink, he would’ve had to be slinging the bag around his head because it has a lid on it.

Stopped for some much needed coffee! I was well surprised when they were happy to make my coconut milk latte with hazelnut syrup in my own travel mug! Great tasting coffee as well and no wait at all!

Very noisy and quite cramped due to the small size and layout of the seating area, howevwr the service is always quick with pleasant staff

A lovely spacious Costa coffee shop with indoor & limited outdoor seating that is in a prime location to both the high street, plus pier & seafront of Weston super mare, they sell a wide range of hot & cold beverages as well as a selection of sandwiches, panini's & snacks plus delicious looking cakes & biscuits, I ordered a medium hot chocolate from the friendly staff member who then made my drink to perfection.

Its nice to find a cafe in Wesron that isn't overrun with dogs I have a dog but don't necessarily want to relax in a place that stinks of dogs. The staff are very friendly as well. And the coffee us good.

Popped in here to purchase a gift card ahead of Christmas time. Whilst there was not a great selection of gift cards out on display, as I imagine lots of people had already been in that day to purchase gift cards. There were, however plenty of gift cards behind the till. The staff member serving me that day provided me a selection to choose from and carried out the top up transaction nice and quickly.

Only two young people serving. Tables not cleared. Spilt coffee in porch. Quite busy but obviously under staffed.

No veggie Turkie toastie arrived with our order and still expected to pay

Now we all know Costa is not a fast paced coffee shop, but 3pm on a Saturday, and this store was dead, and the staff weren't any better! Told to, hang on luv, by the girl in lycra shorts... Am I that old fashioned to think that's not right for anything that's not a gym‽ Anyways, ordered a flat white, and the new maple n nut frappe The bloke there made my frappé... Not ice cold, 3 different whippet things, and no sprinkles. The girl after serving the next stranger to walk in, and making their hot choc, and after he shouted at her to make the flat white ... Made the flat white. The store looked like it had just survived 200 young kids and a clown party ... Not a great look. It's not that I wont use Costa again, but rather just this store. Couldn't be bothered to go down the road to C N, as we had earlier in the day, which is in total contrast this one. So on this occasion not a great coffee time ... Fortunately we had to go ... And was glad to. I was tempted to give only 2 stars, but I'm being generous.

Very slow service, it took the staff a very long time to take our order and never apologised for us having to wait

The workers are nice people but costas quality is just getting worse and worse, at this point it feels like a waste of money. Other coffee places will put in more effort into your drink making it worth the money. I can warm up milk and pour coffee on top at home and it wont cost me £4.

No matter what Costa coffee? Careful restaurant or ever you call them. I find them or was very clean. The staff very friendly. Willing to help and I do love their coffee

A lovely relaxing place to have breakfast. I had a cheese and Ham toastie and my friend had toast and Jam, and we both had a beautifully made Latte. Worth a visit.

I always enjoy going to Costa Coffee and having a nice latte with some food. I usually have a Bacon Roll or a Millionaires Shortbread. Very nice. The staff in this store was very friendly.

Was hoping to pop in for a coffee on Fri but when l saw the unhygienic state of the seating area it gave me serious doubts about how the manager treated the hygiene of this café, one to avoid.

Usual Costa, needed to clear tables

It's a very standard Costa, what more can you say?? Food now from M&S but I think everyone misses some of the Costa standards. It's in a very easy location, but that does mean it's noisy and busy. But great - if you go on a day where the weather is okay and use a keep cup, you get extra Costa points and as much space as you like!

My entire order was wrong or was missing! Such a waste of money and time and I can’t even contact the store as they don’t have any working telephone numbers.

when the manager on duty at 12pm on the 03/12/22 just walks around like an entitled princess and barking orders at the young staff, to a point that they are lost. but does not even bother picking up the slack and helping his team. 25 minutes for a coffee and iced tea that resembled urine. To be remade by the already overwhelmed staff this manager had pounded into the ground. In all honesty I believe the staff's wellbeing and mental health are being greatly affected. As the below shows shop full of customers waiting and the manger just stood watching.

I attempted to drop off a bag of used Nespresso capsules in one of Costa’s recycling bags, and the member of staff was completely unaware of the recycling scheme that the company operates, and publicises on its website. Furthermore, she was quite rude and dismissive of me when I explained it to her. This has happened before at another Costa nearby, so there is clearly a staff training issue that needs to be addressed.

Most tables were dirty had to move the dirty stuff ourselves. Service very half hearted and my latte was not nice at all.

Always order from this Costa when it’s open. Always delivered on time. Food/drink always good and always piping hot 😊

This is a fairly typical Costa, with good coffee and friendly staff. It's in a convenient location on the High Street close to the Sovereign Centre, the seafront and pier.

Costa lost its touch. One day the cappuccino and Late taste amazing another it taste bad. Barista needs better training. No consistency.

Barely busy, good food and drinks and in the perfect spot for shopping and the beach! Staff were patient with my stutter so I didn't feel rushed and they were polite and straight onto the job!

Just asked for a tropical mango frappe that is advertised as new ro menu to be told its not on offer and they don't do it then I had a piece of something in a bag chucked towards me and when I asked what it was and what flavour the lady said whatevers in the bad I said it would be nice if you had of said its a caramel slice free as a sample and she just grunted nice one employees

Always a lovely visit to this Costa. The decor is lovely, the store is always clean and tidy and the toilets are clean and fresh! Plenty of seating inside and a few tables outside which go very quickly, especially on hot days! Staff are friendly and efficient. Great little addition to Weston Super Mare.
