The most expensive cheese sandwich I have ever bought ( including London). Was served in a box with a little salad and two potato ‘hash browns’ one of which was still partly frozen in the middle. I arranged a collection time as they stated that there was a half hour wait but when I returned the food still wasn’t ready for collection. I waited another ten minutes before it was ready. Very poor service and hugely over priced. The sandwich with a bottle of water was over £13!

We had wanted to visit Tiffin Cafe at Bullock Farm for some time, but because the restaurant is seasonal and only open on certain days of the week - and in quite a remote location - we telephoned to check. There was no reply, but a recorded message assured us it was open on Wednesdays. After a journey of nearly half an hour it was frustrating to discover a 'CLOSED' sign on the door when we arrived. Shame because it looked quite appealing.

Great culinary presentation from the new kitchen chef….par excellence…..so pleased to meet up with a few other regulars and new faces. So many compliments. And also to Farmer Symonds to say hello and Clive of Premier cars doing likewise. Highly recommended..it’s a perfect settling …and the limited menu appeared just right until the warmer weather turns a brief visit into a special occasion. Must be the best of its kind around…. But check the website for the opening times and menus…you won’t be disappointed!

Had the farmhouse breakfast. Ingredients were nice, but definitely on the small side for £10.50 - plus toast was rock hard. The staff made no attempt to clear our plates from our table after we had finished eating, leaving us to clear up. Then had the cheek to add a 10% service charge on without telling us. Unlikely to return.

We stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning but just missed the breakfast menu at 11.45am so went for sandwiches. Very small amount of seating inside so we sat outside in the shade. Sandwiches were quite tasty but a little on the expensive side, £9.50 for a BLT and £10..50 for a fish finger bap and £7 for two cans of local soft drink. We'll try and come back earlier next time to see if the breakfasts are as good as people say - the original reason for our visit.

After many enjoyable visits here we have recently noticed a deterioration in the quality of the food presented. Breakfast yesterday was very poor. All our group kept their coats on throughout the meal. Unfortunately, I will not go there again to eat, unless they provide some heating.

Had the cheese and chutney sandwich, with salad leaves and skinny fries. The fries were just horrible. They were overcooked pieces of potato shrapnel, devoid of taste and hard enough to break your teeth. Left most of them as did many of our party of 20. Felt this was very overpriced for the quality. We mentioned this to the person behind the counter and got a generic ‘oh sorry’. Well ‘sorry’, Tiffins - we won’t be going back…

Absolutely shocking Cook needs to learn to cook and work out how to make food presentable Breakfast wasn't great looked OK what there was of it I personally had beans on toast no weight small bowl of beans and 2 pieces of what I can only describe as warm stale bread on a plate What I ordered is in the description BEANS ON TOAST Any how sent it back as wasn't happy 10 minutes later it comes out beans on the now darkened stale tasting toast with the butter to butter the toast to the side of the beans ? I asked has toast been buttered I got no sorry Needless to say it was left And I will never visit this place again You would think a place that charges a premium would at least use decent ingredients and have a cook to compliment the ingredients

I asked hasn't the so called toast been buttered I got I'm sorry no Beans where actually tasteless Needless to say it didn't get eaten The cook needs to learn how to cook and present the food to decent standard And the owner needs to address the fact that using cheap nasty ingredients when they charge a premium is not the way to do it Will not return that's for sure

Lovely cafe setting with friendly staff and speedy, efficient service. Roasts are fantastic, not obscenely large portions, and I'm sure that the brownie has to be illegal it's so good. Only criticism is that soft drinks are served from cans rather than via draught, so I can't imagine the amount of waste (admittedly recyclable) that's created. Nevertheless, reccomended wholeheartedly.

Went to this place today Monday 27th June 2022 at 10:30am for a Breakfast, after seeing how up kept it looked, the floor inside looked as if it hadn't been clean for ages, spilt coffee and bits of food and things on the floor. Also the underside of the outside seating area loggy roof was full of spiders web's and dust, so we decided to have a Bacon and egg bap and my wife a Mushroom and egg bap with 2 latte @ £17:40, so not cheap. But the Bacon was salty and eggs like rubber. We heard the so called Manager saying he was leaving to go to work in a hotel, so I think he's lost interest which is reflected in the cleanliness and poor service. So disappointed knowing how nice the Clevedon sea front Tiffins is so nice. Won't be going back, which is a shame as we only now live a mile away.

A combination café and farm shop in a somewhat out of the way location, it’s got something of a rustic charm to it and there were several benches outside as well as tables inside. Farm produce wasn’t extensive, but there were local eggs, pots of preserves and so on. It was quite an attractive and homely setting with plenty of cushions on the seats and a generally pleasant ambience, although it really was rather too cold for a sit-down meal with the door being left wide open. Then again, perhaps in these Covid conscious times, ventilation is more important than comfort (although I did notice that the Covid method statement on the wall stated that all staff would be wearing masks, which they weren’t). We were there for breakfast, and I opted for the smoked salmon and poached eggs on toast. This was a pretty decent dish, two well cooked eggs and plenty of salmon and it went down very well. Some places add za’atar or similar to spice it up a little, but here it was just served as is. I would have perhaps added some black pepper to spice it up, but there was only ready ground on the table which is really more like sneezing powder, I can’t stand it. But they may well have had some if I’d asked, so no complaints. Across the table, the vegetarian breakfast was also well received, and rather than coming with fake sausages as is often the case, here there were proper vegetarian alternatives in place of the meat including halloumi and avocado. All in all, it was most enjoyable. A decent enough latte and a cup of tea washed it down, although I would prefer that the waitress didn’t hold the cup from the top with her fingers around the rim just where I have to drink from. It does have a handle after all. Overall though, I enjoyed it here and would happily return.

Experienced a Tiffin Sunday Roast (chicken) today, and they have a "yorkie- free" Gluten Free alternative. Very clued up on allergens. Despite turning up at 3pm Sunday (end of the Roast service) the food was good. A little on the pricey end for roast (£15) but very good quality produce and decent sized portions. Too full for a pudding but they had a good selection and numerous cakes, sweet treats and ice creams. Lovely setting too. Staff very helpful and friendly.

When we dined at this farm-based café back in August 2020, it was our first meal-out after the first lockdown. The second half of August 2020 had not been great weather-wise, and although the lockdown ended in early July we hadn’t dined out until we went here. We remember our visit well, as it was a warm day, but just as we finished our al fresco meal the heavens opened in a spectacular fashion (see the photos in my review of 29Aug21). After the excellent food we enjoyed on our first visit, we promised to return for another meal: and that has now happened. Now after the third lockdown had ended, coupled with us both having been fully vaccinated, we have enjoyed freedom to dine out and feel safe. The weather on this May Bank Holiday Monday was really warm, and there was little chance of rain, so this seemed a perfect day to make good on our promise. We had also been to the Tiffin Sundowner Café in mid-April, and enjoyed that too. I had the fish and chips again, and my partner had the same as me that time. So, we aimed to return to Bullock Farm and have what is a favourite meal. Sadly, the Bullock Farm Café only serve Fish and Chips on ‘Frydays’, so we had to choose something else from what is reasonably large menu. Whilst we awaited our meals we had drinks: a “pleasant” cappuccino coffee for my partner and a bottled Rhubarb and Apple drink for me. My partner had decided on the Duo of Salmon Salad, a generous helping of smoked and poached salmon with a fresh salad. It wasn’t served with any bread but it didn’t need to, it was plenty on its own, and was described as “very pleasant” by my partner. I had the Cajun Chicken Burger which was very good with a great Cajun sauce layered on the lower half of the toasted brioche bun. The lower half of my bun was crispy, but it actually worked well because the bun didn’t get soggy with the sauce. If it was meant to toasted this way, then toque’s off to the chef. The chicken was a tad overcooked but it was still very good and it was a generous serving, also it had that griddle-cooked charred taste which I really like. The side salad was good, and not dressed. The chips could have done with a bit longer in the fryer, they were a bit soft; a crispier outer would have improved the texture. The house-slaw was too liquid, it wasn’t very exciting and limp: far too bland and not ‘crunchy’ enough - disappointing. We were both sated after eating or mains so we didn’t ‘dessert’. It was very good meal: some of the side dishes lacked the quality to be able to describe my meal as 'excellent' but it was certainly far better than 'average'. We were both surprised at how many people failed to wear masks when they were not sat down. Staff did, and we did, and some others did, but several didn’t. It’s true that we were outside, but both of us would have been far more comfortable if other diners had exercised a bit more caution. We took a half hour stroll around the fishing lakes that surround the carparking area, it is quit an extensive area, and on a sunny day a pleasant ‘apres dine’ experience.
