After all has been a positive experience here, not much to say, polite staff and tasty food, family running business with genuine kindness.

The service is wonderful - friendly people with a smile on their face. However, the prices for what they serve are extortionate and have gone up considerably in the time I have been coming here. It is now £5.25 for a children's lunch box consisting of sandwiches, pom pom bear crisps and a chocolate bar which all could have been bought from Tesco down the road for considerably less. Paninis are now £6.50 but have less salad and less crisps than before when they only charged at least two pound less. I am aware food prices have gone up but this is more than inflation, this is greed when you can go down the road to another cafe and get a full English breakfast for less. Such a shame as I like to support my local places but not when they are over charging. Food tasted good and presented well and museum itself is well worth a visit. Avoid the cafe.

The café inside the museum has a great visual of the ground floor, which I'm told was a courtyard at the turn of the century, you can visualise horses walking over the actual ground block's of the period, 👍🐎 🐴

Come along and support one's local Museum ! On a stay here delighted to find here. Friendly polite service, caring atmosphere, nice simple cuppa biscuits cake, ... and such good stuff goes along with Museum aims am sure and helps such and it to prosper here. Local history the bad too or less good!... but the good and best of tradition too that Museums seek to remind us all of. Of our cared for local realms. Every best wishes for the Musuem staff and team here and my review is thst Clara's cafe as I have found today and the caring way from staff all round is very good and most promising. As a geology person I would hsve liked to have found a book or two on local geology and the history of studies around here as well as rock(!?) cakes, and all. Very good for Clara & her cafe and the Museum as a whole. Very impressed by the attidude and initial impressions on a brief first pop in visit.

Perfect place to grab refreshments whilst visiting museum and Weston super Mare. Fast and speedy service from great staff. Lovely coffee and toasted tea cakes. There is lots of other choice on the menu. Plenty of seating inside. Pushchair and wheelchair accessible. They accept cash or cards. Paid parking in street nearby £3.00 for 2 hours. Toilets available in museum.

We visited the museum to see the photographic exhibition and Banksy's Windmill, which were very interesting to see, especially the windmill which we thought had been lost! Anyway, we ordered tea and coffee in the cafe, but we waited and waited for it to be brought to us. In the end my friend went to the counter to enquire. So our tea and coffee were eventually served but my tea was dark brown and stewed and only warm which makes me think it had been prepared and just left! The coffee was OK, apparently. I did ask the waitress why we'd had to wait so long and she explained they were very busy! Busy?? There were only a few people there and most of the tables were unoccupied! What would it be like if it was truly busy?

Worth stopping by for a coffee and a slice of cake. The victoria sponge was delicious and the slice was humongous

I only had a pot of tea after my visit to the museum. Very disappinted with the tea. Even through it was made with tea leaves its was so weak. It was like drinking a cup of hot water. Hardly any tea leaves came out into the tea strainer when poured. Cost £2. 10 which I thought quite expensive. Glad I didnot have a cake.

We came here from refreshment after browsing the museum. Tea and cakes were delicious but I'm sorry to say the new chairs are very uncomfortable - probably to stop people staying too long (20-minute chairs, as they are sometimes called). I wish the old Parisian pavement-type chairs had been kept instead of being replaced by these horrible steel ones. Toilets are lovely, though!

Good choice of menu, very friendly staff and an ideal place to pop in for a quiet cuppa at anytime whilst shopping in Weston. The museum is a must too.

Excellent Gluten Free Ginger Cake! I also love the building, loads of natural light whilst having a coffee and a look round the museum.

We had the gammon which was excellent and chicken dish (not mentioned on menu but were two legs) with simple mash and red cabbage each £19. A limited menu that was priced on the high side, especially so when a further 10% service charge is added, and without sauces or cream to compliment each dish! Two coffee and tarts, no cream at £8.50 each and four half ciders each £2.40, one of which was incorrectly listed and priced on the bill. The "optional" 10% service charge stated on the menu was in fact obligatory when the bill was requested as no one asked if it was okay. All drinks were purchased from the bar. So £71.06 all up. You get mineral water thrown in but of course a £6.50 service charge would have covered two more half ciders. Good ambience and decor for old and new interiors. Nice music very early evening which was drowned out as more Saturday night diners arrived in the restaurant. Ales are in short supply for what after all is a Thatchers' emporium. Don't expect any frills with food. Ample car parking. The bar staff were rather glum. A total of under £60 would reflect today's pub prices.

Absolutely fantastic service. Staff were excellent, polite, friendly and professional. Had a toasted tea cake and a latte. Prompt and efficient. Tea cake is massive which is why I go to Coffee#1 Popped back in today 31st October 2024. Staff again were friendly, efficient and helpful. Coffee and cake were excellent 👌🏻

Went in with my mother for a nice spritz, highly recommend the cherry cola!! However, we enjoyed our garlic fries, the perfect amount of garlic and cheese to die for, the service was amazing as well, such lovely individuals!
