Desperate for food after an awful drive, we popped in here and basically, got lucky. Absolutely lovely cafe with friendly staff and very clean. The menu was excellent and reasonably priced. Cake selection was irresistible. Definitely recommend.

Cosgroves is our favourite cafe in Faversham. We love the poached eggs and bacon. A very popular cafe and on occasions have had difficulty in getting a table. Well done Jess, Vanessa and of course Steve!

Went to lunch with my Mum & stepdad (Mum’s a wheelchair user so we need a bit of space!). Second time we’ve visited this cafe. Staff are friendly and helpful, food is delicious - all freshly prepared and well presented. Really good value for money too. Will definitely go again, highly recommended.

I’m the owner of a tea shop in sheerness and I am big on quality , when ever I go to faversham I always visit this lovely place , staff are very professional and friendly the breakfast we had was first class nice and hot and well presented plus it was quite quick not more than 5 minutes for a veggie breakfast and a poached egg on toast cooked to perfection

Another visit to our favourite place to eat in Faversham .We have visited Steves place many times now and have never had a bad experience. Today's visit was another example of great food, and service.It was the busiest we have seen it and its great to see a great place has survived and continues to provide an excellent service to customers. We'll be back.

We visit Cosgroves weekly! Always have great poached eggs on toast. Steve, Jess and the rest of the team are always happy and welcoming. Very popular and at times we have trouble getting a table. We will be there next week.

First visit to Cosgroves and we will most certainly be going back! Greeted with a lovely, welcoming smile upon entering, seated and given menus promptly. They are clearly very popular as we was lucky to get a table is was so busy! All the staff were very busy but never once made you feel like a bother. We had a delicious omelette and a full English breakfast, both exceptional and the coffee was the best I’ve had in years! Fantastic food, wonderful staff, what more could you ask for? First visit but won’t be going back. Breakfast small egg ( not fresh because it had spread over the pan when fried ) , fatty bacon on supermarket bread came with dressed salad ( who wants dressed salad with breakfast ?) and latte £17-80 for two far too expensive for what you get .

We have been coming to Cosgrove for over 10 years. Really polite and effective staff, good food and comes with a grumpy boss (sorry Steve 😜). Weekends won’t be the same without a Cosgrove breakfast! And they even got my very own hot sauce just for me….

Just thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic lunch in Cosgroves again. It is by far the best cafe for miles around. The safe are wonderful and always extremely polite and helpful. We visited Cosgroves today and the food was amazing. The bubble, ham and eggs were absolutely gorgeous. Followed by a delicious homemade Victoria sponge cake. Such a lovely welcoming atmosphere, happy and helpful staff, with a menu to accommodate everyone. We will certainly be taking advantage of their loyalty scheme too.

The breakfast menu is good with lots of optional extras. Standard veggie breakfast is home made sausage, 2 eggs, 2 hash browns, mushroom, tomato, beans and toast. I am a bit fussy about how my eggs are cooked and they were more than happy to accommodate me. I also swapped the sausage for halloumi. Unfortnately it got a bit cold while I was eating because the plate wasn't warmed. Coffee was nice, but I would have liked a bigger cup (but I am a caffeine addict!). I took some of their home made scones and cake home for my family because they looked so nice. Will be eating there again when I am in the area if only to try the coffee and walnut cake.

Probably the best coffee in Faversham and the new chef is excellent. New items on the menu and the coleslaw is truly outstanding. The service is the best I have seen and the staff are always attentive.The service is quite quick even at the busiest times.

Today I took my sister and father into this delightful upmarket coffee shop/ cafe I was realy impressed with my lunch which was beautifully cooked eggs, off the bone ham, and I can honestly say the best Bubble&Squeek I’ve ever had I certainly recommend you try it and I will definitely be going back for more , my elderly father thoroughly enjoyed his lunch today and will try and make this a regular visit thank you to all the staff x

Visited for a quick lunch snack. Noted that the menu boards do not have any prices, but went ahead and ordered- 2 teas, one panini with tuna, one baguette with Brie. Food and drinks were fine. But the bill came to £16.10.With VAT down to 5 percent currently this is a very expensive place to eat, nice as it is, it is not in the Westend of London

Despite being local, this was the first time that we had visited Cosgroves in many years, the last time being when it was under different ownership.What a lovely surprise! The staff achieve a great balance of being relaxed and friendly whilst also giving fab service. We had the English Breakfast, which was well-priced, beautifully cooked and delicious. The tea was also just right - we are very keen tea drinkers!Well done, Cosgroves - we will be back.

Me and a couple of my friends stoped of there for drinks. And what a good choice, staff are very efficient, and very friendly. I had a coffee to die for, and my friends had a frappe which also was amazing. Along with that we all tried the home made cakes which where delicious . Will definitely go back to try the meals, and also was told by the staff that they are referbuing soon so will be interesting to see the out come.

I took my daughters here after a swim at the local pool.My darlings were after a “sandwich” type lunch and my oldest daughter suggested Cosgroves as we walked past. She chose well!!I had a Mediterranean panini, my oldest had a mozzarella, tomato and pesto panini and my youngest had a plain cheese sandwich.Our meals came with a nice salad, and the girls had some lovely fresh fruit smoothies.The food was all really good and all of the staff were welcoming, polite and smiley.We shall definitely go again! Popped in here on a Saturday afternoon for a hot drink and to get out of the rain for a bit. Very busy but we managed to get a seat by the window and after looking at the menu options decided on lunch instead. Not the cheapest, but good quality home made food. Can take a bit of time if they're busy but worth the wait. Two sandwiches and an omelette were very well received. Staff chatty and polite and the cakes looked delicious, so we may have to pop back to try them at a later date.

Popped in here for a coffee and mid morning snack.It was very busy but coffee and food were quickly served,even though the majority of staff were quiet young, the service they gave was very good and a credit to this establishment.

We were touring a house and gardens in the afternoon. So we needed lunch in Faversham. We have had lunch in Cosgroves before and in was very good. So off we go. We found a table in front. Our order was taken very promptly. There was a long wait for the food so we moved to a table in their yard. Must tell you the weather was very hot and sunny. With no air con in the front it got very hot.

Popped in for a couple of fruit smoothies on a hot day, they weren't what I would call a smoothie. They tasted liked tinned strawberries and tinned peaches just blended and chilled. We're not frozen blended fruit and we're really sweet and sickly. Was horrified to pay £6.80 for 2 horrible drinks!

Nos recomendaron Cosgroves para el desayuno y no nos decepcionó. Tuvimos varias cosas entre nosotros incluye el desayuno inglés completo, que era fantástica, no grasienta, abundancia y sabor agradable granja todo productos no es barato y alegre. El personal era muy amable y es un lugar realmente genial para cualquier comida no sólo desayuno. Altamente recomendado.

Fue muy concurrido como esperaba en un día de mercado, pero encontramos una mesa pequeña en el patio trasero. Tuvimos que esperar un rato para la comida, pero el personal nos mantuvo informados y eran tan educados y amables. Sin duda lo recomiendo la tortilla y mi marido dijo que el Mediterráneo Sandwichera estaba delicioso. Sin duda volveremos después de Cuaresma para probar los pasteles!

Este es un concurrido café/restaurante con un ambiente agradable y una agradable bienvenida y un buen servicio. La comida era todo cocinado, pero la espera no fue demasiado larga. Era delicioso y caliente.

I've been here off and on for years and learnt to sit in the back room to avoid the noise of the coffee machine. This time we sat in the back as usual. The door to the courtyard was open and there was a draught so me moved to the window table. There are 2 doorways to the kitchen both without doors or screens. The noise from washing up and cooking in the kitchen was deafening at times. Why isn't it closed off or something done to muffle the sound? Other than that, the service is excellent, friendly staff, good coffee and very nice food. So that's my only grouse!

Popped in to this pop a few times during the Hop Festival and really enjoyed each visit. Pleanty of room in and out, which considering how many people were in Faversham this was quite amazing. First went in Friday night, staff friendly and the beer was good. Saturday went in to watch The Fez Heads, always an entertaining group and with the bar set at rear of the pub, a great afternoon.

We stopped here for lunch and had a sausage baguette and toasted teacake which were very tasty. The tea kept lovely and hot the whole time we were there. It was very busy but the service was excellent and there was a nice friendly atmosphere. I would definitely return to this nice little cafe.

We visited on Saturday 27/8/2016 for breakfast........nothing was too much trouble great choice all freshly cooked and tasted superb...... friendly welcoming staff ....... a great start to our day . Very good choice of food offered throughout the day . We didn't have to wait long either ...... although when very busy because all food is cooked as ordered we were advised there may be a little wait . But don't let that put you off because our breakfast was delicious. So if you are in Faversham a must to visit

We love to come here for our brunch after swimming on a Saturday. Food is lovely and they will cater for specific requests if it's not shown on the menu. Staff are all welcoming and friendly which is one of the reasons we keep coming back!

We often visit Faversham and like to have a 'light lunch' in one of the smaller restaurants. This week we found Cosgroves. It was buzzing with customers coming in for both coffee and meals. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered Lasagne and a Bacon and Brie Panini (bacon well done) with coffee. The food was hot and delicious. The coffee was excellent and the cost was very reasonable too.Definitely be returning
