Cornish Bakery in Harrogate

Lovely coffee, lovely service, a little wait but it was very busy, very quick at clearing us a table and cleaning it for us though. Was impressed how well they coped on such a busy day

If you want rude service and a coffee place that has run out of skimmed and semi- skimmed milk even though Tesco is just round the corner, this is the place for you. The server did not even provide a tray for me to carry our coffees, leaving me to have to seek one for myself. Will definitely not be coming here again.

Beautiful bakery, love the front windows and colour inside. Nice coffee, pricey but I guess the norm these days. New to town I think, wasn’t here last time we came.

A busy cafe with a good selection of pastries. I think I will come again for the pain au raisin and good coffee though they are a bit pricey.

What a lovely little shop. Greeted upon entry - served quickly with awesome tea and cake. Shop was busy so tables weren't cleared really quickly but that was understandable. All customers seemed happy with their food / drinks. Can recommend a visit

Good atmosphere nice food well presented, clean ,Staff need to smile ,also clear tables coudntsee any direction service very slow .

Great find when we were in Harrogate for the day. We dropped in for coffee and pastry and enjoyed both the food and the ambiance. It was busy but we were lucky to drop on a table.

Lovely cafe, very clean. Staff looked well presented. We had a coffee each and shared what we thought was an almond croissant. Hubby asked for almond croissant and pointed it out to server.When we cut into it there was some kind of fruit in. It was nice but she should have told him about the fruit. Coffee was one of the nicest we have had. They really do need to up their game for clearing tables , very slack. That said we will use this cafe again when we next visit Harrogate.

Mediocre traditional pasties - a small clump of chewy meat surrounded by a sea of flavourless diced potato and far too much stodgy pastry. Pity, as I was excited to see this new venue opening in Harrogate. Nice ambience, but pretty dreadful pasties. A bit of a concern for a business trading with the name “Cornish” in the title!

Friendly and polite people. Seemed like a fun bunch even though it was busy and there was a queue, didn’t rush me or other customers, didn’t feel like a herded sheep. Food was good too

Visited what appears to be a smart new retail operation with a wide selection of pastries and pasties, but NOTHING for those who need gluten free - shame on you for not living with current meds of many clients. Tables busy not been cleared staff seemed to lack direction. We had to sit on a table with previous client’s dirty sups and plates still on the table. Still there when we left about 30 minutes later, not good enough. Plenty of other outlets in Harrogate and many who came and left as they failed to look after the customer.

Very good coffee and pastries, had the lemon and blueberry was delicious, came in late in the day and was clean also which is nice.

New and Exciting, I love when we come across Cornish Bakery’s we didn’t know exist! Lovely decor, smiling team, GREAT pastries and coffee, exactly what we’ve come to expect from Cornish. Thank you

Just visited the Cornish bakery in Harrogate and I have to say it was excellent. I had the chicken ,bacon, cheese and chilli sandwich and a cherry and almond croissant which was very tasty. A good range of products and got drinks to choose from at a reasonable price point. Staff are extremely friendly, attentive and very welcoming. It’s dog friendly too which is a bonus for us ! I would definitely recommend a visit.

I visited the new Cornish bakery in Harrogate on Sunday 29/10/23 and the large Cornish pasty that I had was delicious,so I had a chocolate twist danish afterwards with a nice hot latte,so overall a very satisfying first experience so I will be returning :)
