Cornish Bakery in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Sad to hear how the curly haired waitress was speaking to an elderly customer whilst I waited in line. They refused her cash payment, the lady politely said, I don't have cards. The waitress in a rude tone replied... yeah and I don't make the rules so.... Qnother customer offered to buy the lady a drink on her way out but she declined. The pasty I had was nice but the drinks took ages to be made and were tepid. Such a shame.... Won't be returning.

Ordered a latte and a milkshake. The milkshake was in a small glass and cost £4.55. Shocking. As much as I don’t mind paying a reasonable amount, I thought this was way overpriced!!! The coffee was mediocre. Not hot enough. The shop needed a clean! Won’t be returning.

On entering the bakery no member of the staff acknowledged me when approaching the counter. I finally ordered, but had to wait for over 10 minutes for just 2 drinks, which were just tepid and not a great taste. The bakery was not all that busy as it was mid morning, so no excuse for poor service. Furthermore, the premises was not very clean and tidy, with food left under tables. Overall a very unpleasant experience.

Best coffee in Truro, there was a bit of a wait but you can forgive that for the quality of the coffee, paired with delicious authentic French pastries you can't go wrong.

Great value with a great range of pastries, cakes and pasties on offer. Really friendly service. Took the whole family for lunch and we'll definitely be back. Based on all of the above, this is the best bakery option in Truro for value, quality of food and service.

Had a fabulous pasty here the other day, dan served me and was magnificent! Cheeky bloke chatted with me about surf and managed to tempt me into the Cornish pudding !

Great atmosphere! Their vegan pastie is my favourite! The cafe was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Decided to pop in after seeing their array of pastries in the window and wasn't disappointed, everything tasted fresh and delicious, especially the cherry and almond croissant. We also had a coffee which was exceptional.

I had the chicken masala pasty and my boyfriend had the steak and Stilton. Both a bit boring and had much better elsewhere.

Nice pastries, ood prices good coffee, decent small pot of tea with tasty tea. Sadly, the tables are dirty, sticky, and you need to clear it yourself. Sat in for an hour and the staff did clear a few tables but not once did they wipe them. As it's a dog friendly place (dogs came in and shook their wet fur on the day we were in), it is really disappointing to see that table hygiene isn't a priory.

Despite there being a mountain of clean cups we were refused use of them as they would have to wash them. Instead we were offered one of those awful paper cups. We left. Very poor service. Why do people accept such low standards?

Visit to Truro and ventured in to a lovely place. Awsome coffee, cakes were great and even after (my mistake) in a dietary requirement they were really happy to offer something else. Such a friendly place and will be happy to visit again.
