The bacon and sausage in the Cornish Stack were burnt to the point of tasting like charcoal. I won't be going back for breakfast there again. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Called in on the spur of the moment. The card machine was down so we were directed to a local card machine. Went for the large traditional pasty and it was very tasty. Would definitely try some of the other recipes

We ordered Cornish pasties and sausage rolls. Food was quickly bagged and dumped on the counter top with a colleague stating the total price with no smile or please/thank you! If you’re miserable please don’t work here as the food was delicious, hot and just what is expected for a Cornish brand….but the staff do not deserve to serve customers and tourists who want to taste the delightful food only to be let down by the awful customer service…as tourists we were felt disappointed with the experience after coming far to visit Bath. Company needs to recruit staff who are able to smile and greet customers with manners please.

Meringues looked really good so I got 2, but on opening the paperbag at my hotel, I got a strong whiff of savoury baking. The meringues had been cooked in the same oven as cornish pasties, so had been tainted with the savoury smell! Which persisted on eating. Not good if you wanted a sweet treat! Terribly disappointed!

Oh dear. Where to start? The window looks great doesn't it? All the delicious looking fare to lure you in. Sadly, it goes downhill as soon as you step through the door. Surly, unwelcoming staff. I'd go as far as to say a bit scary! No eye contact. No warmth. Barely a word said. I used to live in Cornwall. Believe me, this shop bears no resemblance to anything Cornish where people are warm, welcoming and give great customer service. Customer service and etiquette training would go a great way to improving a depressing experience. Did we buy anything? We did, but only out of politeness. Shall not be returning.

Called in on 30th Dec 2020 - ordered a lamb and mint and a cheese and bacon pastie got a vegetable and a chicken and something pasties - if you can be bothered to sell the right pastie then what is the care in preparation etc. After the death of Natasha Ednan-Laperouse, you would have thought businesses proving food would take more care but obviously not

Delicious and filling for grabbing some pasties on the go! Lots of different filling types, and appreciate the vegetarian options.

The worst staff ever...I ordered panini and I found a hair on it...the staff had attitude and didn't even say sorry for that...she turn her back and gave me the same one pretending it was a new one..! Disgusting...

Actitud absolutamente repugnante en cierto empleado, llamado en nuestro viaje de compras desde Gales para un aperitivo, la cola estaba afuera, pero estaba preparada para esperar, recogió una envoltura y quería un pastel, mi hermana ordenó nuestro café a una encantadora dama y pagué su baguette del mismo lado sin problemas, fui a pagar una envoltura y quería pedir una empanada, la señora se dio la vuelta y quería que pagara mi envoltura a un lado, por separado de donde están las empanadas, dejando al descubierto Me importaba que quisiera una empanada, la gerencia clasificara a sus empleados, impactante servicio al cliente. . .

肉餡餅是巴斯美食，很多家店都有賣。我們選了cornish bakehouse買了牛肉肉餡餅，但店內無座位，所以外帶可以在修道院前座位吃。肉餡餅吃起來還不錯，牛肉份量也不少。

We got our pasies to go and they were delicious. Really enjoyed them on our drive back to London after a big day of site seeing. You cant walk past and not give one a go!

Delicious pastries and a great selection. This is intended for take out as there are no seating inside so it was a little inconvenient because at the time it was raining. But still delicious food.

Have grabbed a quick pasty from Cornish Bakehouse a couple of times lately, as it used to be good. Of late the pasties have been cold and stodgy, and very disappointing. Its not like this has been mid-afternoon when they've been sat for a while either, it's been lunch rush hour. £4 for a cold disappointing pasty is a bit of a joke.

Enjoyed a cornish pasty and chicken pasty. Very tasty and full of meat. Well worth a visit and definitely recommend.

The sign on the side says that they are award winners. After putting up with pretend pastie in Australia, I wanted a true Cornish pasty. I got the large traditional and my mate got the Thai chicken pasty along with beverages. The pastie was crisp, fresh with a buttery pastry, the filling was Devine. Best I’ve ever tasted, had several since but this was the best by a mile. My mate was extremely satisfied with his meal. Loved it and highly recommend. Lots of other pasty options available.

We just got a coffee from Costa, and were walking around when we spyed this shop. Looking in the window, got me hungry. So in we when. With a cornish Pasty and sausage roll we when outside to eat. Had to fight off the birds to eat. But the rolls where very good.

We went to Bath for the day and it was raining . Looking for somewhere for lunch I spotted this cafe, we had been to the one in Bourton On The Water, so went in for a meal.

Cold Pasty served. I did not realise until I was out of the shop and found a bench to sit on to eat just 3 or 4 minutes away, I have mobility problems so not ideal to have to walk back. I did though walk back, staff offered to microwave and did so for just a few seconds. I did not consider it likely that it would be heated through thoroughly with just a short zap, confirmed by touching the paper bag in which it was held, so I didn't want it in that condition, they therefore threw it away, no refund.

Family trip to Bath, and looking for a bite to eat. Found this corner bakery, with several people out front munching on their food. I asked in passing how was it, and several members suggested to try it. So we took the plunge.

Heard about Cornish pasties from our guide on a day trip to Stonehenge and Bath. Found this place and glad we did. Pastry is flaky and the fillings were delicious, both vegetarian and the traditional. And great to eat as you wander around Bath. Likes them so much we grabbed 2 more to eat when we returned to Lo don that night.

This place is amazing. It’s bit inside from the main road but worth going. They have put a board outside stating they are awarded best pasty makers in 2018. I do not doubt that. Good stuff, keep it up guys.

I had never tried a Cornish pastry before, so not knowing how they are supposed to be, how they are supposed to taste, I am not the one to say if they are the original or if they are good enough.I just didn't like them.

Entré aquí hoy, recuerdo haber ido cuando era estudiante hace muchos, muchos años. Tengo el pastel gigante para 4. 75, es lo suficientemente fácil como para que 2 comidas sean honestas, y llenas de bistec por lo que es un gran valor. Una pasta excelente, pero si tuviera que comentar, diría que la carne de res está muy seca, lo cual es una pena porque de lo contrario hubiera sido perfecta.

Parece que termino aquí en cada viaje a Bath. Y aquí es por qué.

We have been here each time we visit bath, came again last week for lunch, the food is always fantastic there is a huge range to choose from whether it’s savoury or sweet it is a little more expensive compared to your standard pasty shop however the quality difference is why, definitely pay the extra for far better food. It is always so busy, it is such a shame you can’t sit in however as long as it is dry they have a few benches outside.

Fuimos a Bath solamente por un día, lo que implicaba poco tiempo. Así que decidimos no sentarnos a comer sino alimentarnos en el camino. Nos cruzamos con unos "pastes", muy ricos. Así que pudimos turistear sin tener hambre. Muy recomendables y sin los precios de las áreas turísticas.

I do like a good cornish pasty, but to claim to be the best in the world made me pay extra attention to their product.

Fuimos allí a media mañana para desayunar, había una pequeña cola, pero eso es lo que esperarías en el desayuno antes de que la gente salga a trabajar, y estaba bien dirigido por el encantador personal. No esperaba mucho del chocolate caliente, pero fue absolutamente delicioso, no acuoso como tu instante estándar pero cremoso y realmente chocolateado. Ver al personal cocinar frente a usted muestra qué tan fresca es la comida y obtuvimos una buena cantidad por nuestro dinero. Mucho mejor que Greggs! Recomendaría ir aquí para el desayuno, ya que nos dejó muy lleno

Comimos aquí durante las comidas, mi compañero tenía un queso azul y filete de carne y tuve un brownie casero con agua embotellada. El agua sola era 1. 40 que es una estafa absoluta para el agua!

Acabo de explorar Bath solo y busco algo bueno para comer, veo un cartel que dice "Pasty", pensando que sí, me encanta un buen Pasty, luego bajo y ¡he aquí el letrero que dice: Campeón del Mundo Pasty, ahora tengo que probarlo! Probablemente no puedo decir que soy un experto en pastos, pero fue muy bueno, relleno fresco y sabrosas cortezas externas. ¿Sé si comí lo mejor del mundo? Not too long for dinner so grabbed some sweet potatoe chips and a cheese and mushroom pasty. The chips were good and tasty but the pasty was full of mushy paste containing potatoe and a hint of cheese, I have to assume the dark colour came from a mushroom. Not the best by any stretch of the imagination

Bought a cheese and mushroom pasty, By far the most revolting thing I have ever tasted.. Contained a potato mush without any flavour of cheese or mushroom and no seasoning.

I was walking around bath and came across this place I got a spinach and ricotta cheese pasty the crust was not to dry and alright however inside was more a creamy spinach than something that tasted like any kind of cheese. Overall it was ok and if i was hungry i would eat another one but wouldn't go out of my way to get it. Also there are no tables its just a walk up and grab place

We went in for lunch today and when it came time to pay I tried to use a 50 pound UK note. The staff said we do not accept them. I then asked why and she said she didn't know. You have really got to be kidding me????????????????? Imagine if I had tried to use a Scottish issued note which is also good in most places in the UK as the printing of these notes by several Scottish banks is authorized by the Bank Of England. I had that problem at a cafe near Windsor Castle last month. The pies were mediocre at best and there are many other similar choices nearby that I would hope would accept the national currency for payment. This is bull for a tourist to put up with.

Nice selection of pastries - both sweet & savory. Staff were pleasant. We ate in but these tasty treats would be easily snacked upon while walking... I recommend the one with the Leek in the filling... got the last one...

Very off putting when you watch a member of staff outside smoking, throw the lit cigarette down and go straight back in to serve. Same member of staff was outside smoking when we had finished our meal elsewhere and walked past again an hour or so later. Yuk.

I called in at this place yesterday, on a day out in Bath. This is one of my favourite pastry chains, and I am a regular at the branch in Worcester, so was keen to give this one a try.

Such an amazing bakery with sooo many things to eat! There are some nice cakes and sweets (the brownie is super tasty!!) and also a great choice of pastry! We bought some big sausage rolls and we really liked it!

Was not overly impressed. Bought a Steak and Ale pie and it was not very tasty. It was big, bigger...

It is special for a Dutchie and the is price oke. Enjoyed it and was a treat. Fast help and nice place outside to eat. Just takeaway.

My son now works in Bath so during the holidays as a treat, we brought him to work to save him his usual hour and a half journey by bus! We stumbled upon this place on that Sunday morning and what a find! We all had a breakfast roll of some description (plenty of options) and we all thoroughly enjoyed them. Tasty, cooked to order and the latte prices are so reasonable - £1.15 for a small and less than £2 for a large one. Will definitely make this our number one stop for food when we next visit.

I got the sausage roll and the fudge brownie. The brownie was amazing! Delicious food you can enjoy on the go. The sausage roll was unlike the ones I'm used to. I think the meat filling is a bit softer. But still nice.

The kids loved it. Reasonable prices, meat and vegetarian options. Also makes custom sandwiches. Delicious donuts for dessert. Service was quick. Takes credit cards.

We were looking for something quick to eat and we walked by the Cornish Bakehouse and figured we'd give it a try. Our food was ok, nothing special. The woman who served us wasn't rude but wasn't friendly either.

Taste of Cornwall in a city far away from that county. Pasties are very popular and Bath is a city with many visitors wanting a tasty and quick snack so this is an ideal shop to visit

Decent pasties but not always hot (barely luke warm sometimes). Decent though and the prices are reasonable; the shop has a fair choice of other items and sweets on offer and the service is pleasant enough.

We both enjoyed the traditional pasties, took them away to enjoy with takeaway coffee. The pasties I would eat again, the coffee...perhaps not the best.

They offer great pasties to a reasonable prize and in different sizes. I've had the traditional Pasty and it was great. But the staff was really unfriendly and didn't look as if they were happy to work there.

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed by the flavor of the pasty I had here. It wasn't as good as it sounded; steak and ale. It could be entirely my fault for expecting something different. I will say the person helping me was friendly and efficient and the shop is conveniently located in a shopping "corridor" (which is it's name).

We walked by the Cornish bakehouse late in the day. We saw the kilted gentleman closing up the shop for the day. My wife asked him if they made any pastries with no eggs. Normally, that is a no go. This time he said yes, Heavy cakes, are made like scones with no eggs. We had a nice chat with him and we decided to come back the next day. She bought several of the "heavy cakes and was very happy. Too bad they are not closer to us.

When asking for a breakfast pasty to satisfy my tastebuds after a long day of shopping, I was met with bellowing laughter that mocked me... it would seem that you do not serve the "breakfast pasty" after a certain point during the day. This was not clearly labelled, and the way the employees mocked me and laughed in my face, made me feel down hearted and decrepit for the rest for the day.Furthermore I felt I had to leave immediately! If you want an overpriced, Overrated, hideous pasty then please take visit, otherwise McDonald's are down the road.

Lots of mouth-watering pasties to chose from and most were available in three sizes. Not just savoury items but an array of sweet desserts were available too.

I grabbed a quick bite before touring the Roman Baths. I was able to get 2 different vegan pasties. They were both delicious but I liked the curry slightly better. It had a great flavor. I ordered 2 small pasties because they are very filling. It ended up being my dinner.

Stopped by while walking around Bath on a beautiful weekend afternoon. Intrigued by the signs proclaiming their award winning Cornish pasties, I bought a small one for £1.75. It was piping hot, delicious and hit the spot!

Always used to eat here before we went to rugby games. The food has always been hot when I have eaten here, they have a good selection (including a veggie sausage roll - unsure if it is vegan or not) and the service is quite quick too. Not the best food you'll ever eat but good for the price and is near to all the shops on the main street.

Just wish we had an appetite to try more flavours! The lamb and mint was delicious. They had many others that I wish we had been able to try. My sister loved her vegetarian sausage roll. There is the Cornish Bakery as well, don't even think about it! This place is better.

Stopped for a quick snack after visiting the Roman Baths. Grabbed a couple of Cornish Pastry and a drink. Fresh made food, hot and tasty. And half the price we had paid in another town for the same thing. The shop sits on the corner near the entrance to a shopping area just a couple of hundred feet from the entrance to the Roman Baths.

Will not be returning anytime soon cold half filled pasties the cakes also tasted very cheap. We ordered 2 chicken and mushroom bakes. Slice of pizza. And a 'steak and potato tasted awful' and a like chicken tiki one that also was not very nice pastry very dry and over cooked. A brownie and a rhubarbs cake. Very disappointed Greggs only a walk away the safe option I say

We popped into the Cornish Bakehouse on our way from the car park to our hotel, where we were staying whilst attending our son's graduation ceremony at Bath Abbey. Being a family of vegetarians, we ordered a cheese and onion pasty and two spicy vegetable rolls. My wife emphasised that we were vegetarian when placing the order. At the hotel, my daughter bit into the spicy veg roll and immediately spat it out. The staff at the Bakehouse had actually given us two sausage rolls. My daughter has been a vegetarian all of her 23 years, and this experience was extremely upsetting for her. We didn't have time to go all the way back to the shop to return them as we had the aforementioned graduation ceremony to attend, so on returning from our trip, I telephoned the company's main office. The gentleman I spoke to was a director of the company, but I was left very disappointed by his attitude towards my complaint. He said this sort of mistake rarely happened and flippantly put it down to human error. I pointed out - when I could get a word in - that in the business he was in, there was no room for error. I pointed out that whilst we are vegetarians by choice, other people are vegetarian for cultural or religious reasons, and being unwittingly subjected to eating meat would be terribly traumatic. Unmoved by what I'd said, this gentleman stood by his "human error" excuse, and said "apart from apologising I don't know what else I can do". Dreadful customer service. I stated that the least he could do would be to refund us the cost of the items and he agreed to this, but I'm afraid the damage was done by his flippant and uncaring attitude. We won't be returning to the Cornish Bakehouse. If I could give a zero rating I would.

We bought a selection of pastys, one was particularly cold. We took it back and a woman rudely snatched it off us and without saying a word, put it in the microwave and gave it is back without a word or apology! Poor service and quality!

When I go to Bath this place is my wicked pleasure. My favourite is a small sausage roll lovely and hot all for 65p. It fills a peckage moment and helps me shop more.

We enjoyed great coffee and fabulous pastries here. The apricot pastry in particular was just exquisite. It melted in my mouth.

I have been here and had 2 bad visits already, but I wanted a baguette and simple sandwich/baguette shops are hard to come by at the best of times. I went in and queued at the baguette counter - stood for 2 mins then VERY RUDELY by someone who couldn't speak English to stand at till counter - I stated that I was only after a baguette and was told again rudely to go to til. I stood at the til in a queue for 3/4 mins, and then told to stand at baguette counter! I moved and then asked for a prawn baguette and paid for it. They said they had no Marie Rose sauce so I said I'd have mayonnaise - fumbling around for another minute she then tells me they have no brown baguettes - I agree to white. Another minute later says they have no prawns! I mean - come on! I then say not to worry and ask for my money back. With no apology she slowly refunds the baguette and plonks the money in my hand. RUDE RUDE RUDE LAZY LADY and wasting my time!!! Sort yourself out!!!!

We spied the Cornish Bakehouse and a quick look in the window confirmed that would be lunch.We have been to Cornwall and eaten Cornish Pasties in Cornwall but these were truly THE BEST pasties and sausage rolls we have EVER eaten!The ingredients were fresh, full of good quality meat (massive big chunky pieces of beef in the pastie and nothing but pure silky pork in the sausage rolls) and totally, utterly delicious!In addition to these top quality pasties and sausage rolls we discovered the most deliciously decadent (not to mention generously sized) chocolate brownies and all of this at a very reasonable price!We were told that everything is made in Cornwall, frozen and shipped to the various Cornish Bakehouse stores where they are then cooked fresh. Apparently by law, a pastie cannot be called a Cornish pastie unless it is actually made IN Cornwall.All I know is that we returned to the Cornish Bakehouse again the next day and if there were one close to home we'd set up a tab! It makes total sense that their sign reads

妻とのバース旅行の際に訪れました。簡単に安く済ませたかった昼食にぴったり。大きなパイ生地に様々な具が入っていて包まれている、ペイストリーと書かれた料理が店頭に一杯。２種類をチョイスして外のベンチで食したのですが、なかなか美味しかったです。簡単におなか一杯はグッドでした。

지나가다가 냄새가 좋아 들어갔다. 식사를 했던 터라 traditional cornish stake pasty 작은 사이즈를 1.5파운드에 사서 먹었는데 정말 따끈하고 맛있었다. 커피와 세트 메뉴가 있었는데 2.5파운드 정도였던 걸로 기억. 바스 여행을 갔다가 마땅한 식사할 장소가 생각나지 않을 때, 빠르게 먹고 움직이고 싶을 때 먹기에 꽤 좋은 곳이라 생각한다.
