Absolutely perfect in every way. Welcoming staff who were friendly, knew what they were doing and got on with it. Rooms were spotless, well appointed and had everything you needed. Very good shower (especially after a 200+ mile motorcycle ride). Dinner was spot on in terms of choice, quality and service with breakfast being equally as good. Hospitality done this well needs shouting about. Overall a fantastic experience that helped to make a weekend bike ride into a very memorable trip. I’m now looking for an excuse to go again & take my wife!!

Lovely dinner. We had a couple of sharing platters for mains. A couple of steaks and a Persian lamb main. Wife had a pudding and it was lush. Good to have Robinsons cider on tap. I have eaten here a few times now and never disappointed. Seems to do a good trade while not feeling busy. Proper Pub with great food in The country with good friendly service from owners. Keep up the good work.

An indifferent welcome from a sour faced woman. The meal was okay but nothing special. It has got 5 stars for hygiene which is important to me but the member of star needs to get a refund from the “Charm school”. It is a pity because we are ten miles away and we thought it would be our new special place. The building is oldie worldie and very well furnished but to keep you coming back they need to be more attentive and present food that has been made with passion.

The Corners Inn at Kingsland does a fabulous Sunday lunch. The locally sourced beef we enjoyed was the best I can recall, being tender and succulent. There was a wide selection of vegetables included. The service is excellent, as ever, and the tables are well spaced in an historic converted barn in the centre of the village. You must try it. Food is equally good on other days of the week.

Tonnes of choice on the menu. Ordered the seafood sharer platter which was easily enough for two. Great food and everything tasty. Fairly quiet for midweek lunches and glad it remains open. Heard an old lady nearby ask for a few chips, she was promptly told to either choose a portion or none at all - obviously you could treat that as a request for a portion or suggest she might have some of the husbands if you were literally talking about 3 chips - I thought there could be a bit more subtlety than that, but otherwise excellent service and food.

Visited for lunch with two picky family members. There were only two young ladies at the front of house and they were realty up against it, running the bar, taking food orders and waiting tables. They managed the pressure with great charm and efficiency and were a real credit to establishment. Food is well priced and we enjoyed 2 mains for £15. One of these was cod and chips which our picky fish fan loved. The fish was fresh and flaky and the batter light and crisp. The butternut and black bean chili from the same offer was very well spiced and very well presented. Steak ordered medium was slightly more leaning toward well done. The steak accompaniment of a large tasty bartered onion ring with fried cherry tomato was reportedly very tasty. We had a great experience and would certainly visit again.

We had scotch egg and crab/avocado pot then roast beef and pork, with lots of vegetables. We were too full for dessert. All was very good, with the gravy highly recommended - second helpings were cheerfully provided! The pub is olde worlde but with solid, comfortable chairs. A really great place where quality, enthusiasm and expertise consistently shine through. Our default choice for eating out when it HAS to be right. Most recent visit was a quick lunch of steak in ciabatta with a pint of Doom Bar ale, both exemplary, perfect ale and a really outstanding steak sandwich obviously executed by an experienced and passionate chef; mouth-watering quality tender steak carved in strips and cooked to perfection, a lovely balanced mustard mayo, softened onions and a refreshing expertly dressed side salad plus some chips. Competitive prices attracted us to this tidy-looking pub, with plenty of parking and a good location. Two cod and chips were ordered, they were perfect in every respect but for a watery-fishy taste to the batter underneath which made me feel a bit rough and clearly should not have been there. The batter itself was perfectly crisp. I asked my fellow diner if they'd noticed the same thing and they had. As a result we couldn't finish the fish, but it was nevertheless good fish. At the bar, there were a good choice of ales. Mistakes happen and so this won't put us off returning again at some point.

My wife and I booked a party of eight for a Wednesday evening meal for her birthday in December 2016 and we had a lovely evening. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was terrific. We returned as a couple in February 2017, again for an evening meal and let's just say the standard had not dropped one iota. It was a lovely evening where the staff were attentive but not in your face and chatty without being intrusive - in other words, they got the balance just right. The food was again excellent and, although we were a bit wary about being seated pretty close to the bar, as it turned out this was not an issue at all. A great evening and we will be back!

Four of us went there for dinner and there are various menus, which are extensive, and you can pick and choose between the elements of each menu. Some of us had the summer sizzler which is salmon & salad / potatoes followed by strawberries and cream (£9 so very good value). One of us had the steak which was cooked beautifully. The service is very friendly and attentive without being in any way overbearing. Thoroughly recommend this venue.

Set in a lovely little village, the restaurant manages to be both modern and charming at the same. The food is well-cooked, delicious and very affordable.

We went to the Corners for a meal with friends. The welcome we received was wonderful and we had a lovely table in the dining room which is beautifully decorated and furnished and lots of room between the tables. Three of us had a terrific meal but our friend was not able to cut her pork loin. She told Emma who was most apologetic and didn't charge for one pudding and one coffee. Such good service means we will definitely be going back again. Thank you Emma.

First thing to say is that you probably need to book, it was very busy despite being a big place. Service was good, food and beer as well. Friendly welcome was received

I am afraid to say this was our second choice :s We had originally opted to go to The Angel up the road but were ignored there and came here. We are so glad we did! The lady from the get go was so lovely. The food was excellent. It took no time at all to arrive and was hot and well cooked. It was my husbands birthday and the lady (from Leominster with dark hair) sorry we didn't catch your name popped two candles in our chocolate torte. Thank you we had a lovely lunch.

Went for a Sunday lunch in January expecting great things and now the change of management a better ambience. The ambience was certainly better [thank goodness] but the food a let down, prawn salad in a jar- not good. Grossly undercooked tough vegetables along with a very limp Yorkshire ugh. But on the other-hand the meat was very good. It was a shame as I would have loved to give a rave review. This review was by some error [obviously mine! put on to the Angel, Kingsland by mistake]

Slightly better menu than most in the area. Good service and beer. Appreciate proper napkin and at least some carpet, although bare wooden tables.I realise Med look is the thing, but when paying serious money for food, is nice not be clanking about in a wharehouse.

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic lunch at The Corners on Easter Monday. We had the sharing seafood platter which was included Cornish crab, green lip mussels and smoked salmon. The portion was very generous and everything was very fresh and beautifully served. The wine list was comprehensive and reasonably priced. Service was very friendly and the chef popped over to check everything was ok. Great atmosphere and very welcoming.

We booked for our valentines dinner here as we had heard such great things about the new landlord and landlady! And believe me we certainly were not disappointed. Kilmer jar of prawn cocktail and mushroom risotto followed by 12oz rump and 8oz fillet, both cooked to perfection. We were too full for puddings but the choice looked just as good as the rest of the menu. We shall definitely be back. Xx excellent service food and atmosphere

I recently stayed here on a business trip, The location is a bit isolated but this suited me. The rooms where very nice and modern, and the shower was one of the best I have ever used. the bed was fairly comfortable and there is air con/heating in the room that you can change the temperature via remote control. The bar is very comfortable, but best of all was the food, it was excellent and some of the best pub food I have ever tasted, and all with great service. This place is well worth the visit if you are in the area, and beats all the local hotels in Leominster for quality.

Wet and windy Sunday so we decided to try Sunday lunch at the nearest pub to our holiday rental. Great choice. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient. The restaurant is large and well attended on Sundays and the food is scrummy! I had the roast beef with all the trimmings followed by earl Grey crème caramel. The beef was the best I have ever eaten, beautifully cooked. After the meal we retired to the pub itself to sit with our drinks and browse the Sunday papers. A very civilised way to spend an inclement Sunday.

A textbook experience from the moment we entered this charmingly characterful pub restaurant. The staff were attentive from the beginning to the end, polite & friendly. Our meals were well cooked & delicious & we ended with a tea & coffee; my coffee was the best I've experienced in a long time! We shall certainly return quite soon!

Absolutely shocking Saturday lunch experience. Arrived mid lunch time to an empty pub and miserable, unwelcoming, inconvenienced bar maid. All the ale was off. Most of the specials weren’t on so ordered the wild boar hot dog with a salad. It arrived in a stale, cremated smart price bun. The actual hot dog had been oven cooked until it was blackened, it looked like it had been heated up multiple times. Diced, undercooked onions. The meal arrived with a huge portion of oven chips (frozen, undercooked), no salad. Tried mentioning this to the waitress but she’d stormed off. Honestly, the worst paid meal I’ve ever had. Didn’t finish, left and won’t ever be back. Now I understand why the place was empty. The place has so much potential. Hopefully it goes bust and is bought by someone that understands good hospitality.

We were staying on the Malvern View Country and Leisure Park for a weekend stay which we could not fault. However, we dined at The Old Barnhouse on the Saturday evening and unfortunately the food was terrible. We waited for nearly an hour and when the food arrived it was half cold. My mother and father had scampi and chips, no peas and they were out of tartare sauce! My sister and I had the New Yorker chicken which consisted of a huge portion of coleslaw that wasn’t very nice and the chicken was small and if poor quality. My daughter had a kids pizza, chips and beans which was just about acceptable. The five meals and a round of drinks came to over £80 which was appalling for the quality of the food. Avoid The Old Barnhouse for food! Pleasant enough for a drink.
