Coqfighter Shoredtich in Hackney

Had a nasty 48hr food poisoning experience after eating a burger here - couldn't have been anything else i ate that day. Check your food is cooked properly if ordering fom here.

I just want to say they experience with the food was horrible the sandwich is so small there was no vegetables in it only pice of chicken, pickle and some sauce that's it, chips plate it was noteven enough for 2 adults, another plate of 3 chicken pieces, the chicken was very oily and without any dip with it 🙃😒 in total 4 prices of chicken and some chips for £36 that was way much expensive, in not happy at all it was below expectations.

Went here with family for dinner the other night. We used to get tasty Coqfighter cuisine during lockdown, including bao buns which were our favourite. The menu has changed, however, and bao buns are no longer available, which is a shame. We ordered burgers which were a bit too salty and quite pricey. They also didn't have any mustard, mayo, or ketchup, which makes no sense for a business selling burgers. You have to buy their overpriced condiments and you have to order them through the automated teller at the front of the desk - they don't have a card reader for you to easily buy as an add on after your order. I'm not going to go as far as saying I don't recommend it, but it's disappointing to see such a significant drop in service and food quality in such as short period of time.

Bought 3 meals from them for lunch, which were tasty, but the refused to give us any ketchup or mayonnaise, and refused to fill my child's water bottle from their tap.

Purchased the Green chilli burger and did not enjoy it at all. Too much sauce added into the burger, hands and buns were dropping with sauce, it completely overpowered the chicken.

vile just about managed one bite and then straight in the bin it was delivered so can’t bring it back won’t order again filth

Always make the effort to come here if I’m Nearby. The soy burger is so good, better than the honey one. The wings are consistently delicious too!

good customer service, 10/10 for the food chicken was tender and not plain, such good flavours. good for uni students to visit without the expenses of a sit down meal

I ordered a humburger from Deliveroo at COQFIGHTER in 45 All Saints Road, London, GB W11 1HE tonight I received a RAW chicken burger which is very dangerous !!!!!! it is just unacceptable DO NOT order especially from them. FOR ME it will go to court

Had it delivered just now.... was cold as expected as it’s snowing and I live so far away. Banged it in the oven for a few mins and got it out and smashed the hell out of it. Loved it!! Will be ordering again for sure.

Home delivery of burgers including a vegan burger that was unedible. Vegan steak was uncooked, sticky, had a terrible taste and was coated in tons of oily fried crumbs- 2cm thick in places. Honestly the worst veggie burger I have ever had. I could not eat it. Family members have tasted it and agreed with me. We won’t be re-ordering.

This is absolutely delicious! The fried wings were super crispy (even though we had to get take away) the bao buns were so light and fluffy and tasted so good! We got the green chilli burger which was so flavourful. They use brioche bun but it’s not too sweet or buttery (which I think usually spoils the taste) they have the perfect balance! The chips with paprika were nothing special.

The quality of the food dropped MASSIVELY with Coqfighters. I used to go to the East Croydon Boxpark restaurant a few months back and the food was great. Warm, crispy twice fried chicken that was super tasty. However, ordered from the Shoreditch restaurant and either the staff don’t care or they’re ordering lower quality ingredients. We ordered the original burger, which was not only cold, but just didn’t have much flavour and wasn’t crispy. Not what I remembered the burger being like. The green chilli cheese burger was alright, but again, cold and not crispy. The K Wings were also cold and didn’t have much flavour to them. Not really crispy either. The loaded fries were anything but “loaded”. They just shoved fries in a box, sprinkled over some seasoning and threw in a few red onions. Not to mention, they were cold as well. I’m genuinely surprised at how the quality has dropped. Yes, I know it’s tough for restaurants, but surely this is a good opportunity to deliver good food and give the customers a reason to repeat order. Sadly, unless the standards are upped, I won’t be re-ordering given that I could get more tasty food at better value. £32.99 for two burgers, some wings (6) and fries. It’s too expensive. Just go to a local fried chicken place or KFC and save some money whilst getting tasty chicken.

Me and my friends are regular coqfighter customers and by saying regular we would always make sure to pay our visit every friday whether itd be in boxpark shoreditch or in soho so we've mastered how each of their burger tastes. Today, our expectations werent met, the taste and quality of the burger served to us wasnt as before, we all agreed that something is missing with the taste and with the quality of the chicken, as it used to be very fresh and tasty and chicken is crunchy but today we have been served a soggy and sloppy kind of chicken burger i dont know perhaps they use different chicken for the eat out to help out scheme. but anyway presentationwas good but the taste was a missed. we will try again and if doesnt change then absurd bird will have new loyal and paying customers.

Meal here with beers and chicken of all shapes and sizes. Excellent burger and bau buns although the Korean chicken wings could be better.

I took the bao buns and chips/fries. The moment when I realized I am not really a bao bun person :D But overall they had a nice and crispy chicken there and the fries were awesome - lots of salt and spice which I like.

Disappointingly small wings and not very fresh tasting.. We just fancied some chicken wings and they’re not expensive so can’t really complain but some of the rivalling pop ups (of which there are many in London at the moment) charge the same for bigger wings...
