Cooplands Newborough in Scarborough

My wife Requested an hot pasty and paid for a hot pasty. Was bagged and given it. On eating within a few minutes it was never hot, never had been hot, was a cold as a pint of milk form the fridge. Poor.

Really bad. Bought quite a variety of items in there. All the savoury items (sausage rolls, pizza, pasties) were stone cold and not very nice. Gingerbread men tasted of very little. Branding looks identical to Greggs and to be honest I'd rather have gone there - which isn't saying much!

Basically like Greggs but better. Polite staff at both ones in central Scarborough. The pasties are more the shortcrust kind which means they're very filling for what they are, and the yum yums are just that little bit more squishy and flavoursome than the Greggs ones.

Girls are extremely rude and arrogant no please , thank you or sorry this is basic customer service skills. So miserable they need to learn to smile or find a new job that doesn’t involve interacting with customers. Unpleasant experience , these girls need training in customer service and basic manners. It’s shocks me people like this can retain a job when this is their attitude. Throw a fuss about blue light discount , clearly aren’t happy with offering 25% discount if this is the case you shouldn’t have a big sign on your counter clearly notifying customers of this. The girl even responded ‘we only get 15%’ take it up with head office , not get frustrated at your customers. If I was you I’d stick to Greggs.

Great food at great prices. The staff are very friendly and obliging. I like Cooplands better than McDonald's for breakfast :)

Great choice of fresh pies and pastries and cakes sold cold or hot . Reasonably priced. Be prepared to queue as busy from lunchtime till 2.pm

Shambolic service every single time I go in there is an unnecessary delay with one thing or another even when the shop is quiet. They staff ask far too many questions for a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea in which they can't even do that properly. Absolute jokers.

staff always happy and helpful. we had an issue with on of our cakes went back full refund and replacement was issued no fuss amazing store

The staff are so friendly and hard working. The sandwiches are reasonably priced and packed. The buns are really tasty to fill up on afterwards or save for later. Will be back again soon.

We had a delicious fruit tart with cream patisserie lovely! Service with a smile all confectionary beautifully displayed.

Warm sausage rolls on a cold winter's morning are perfet, and the ones sold here are lovely and flaky

Lovely lovely staff . Took Arnold's frog in after his sky diving accident .They told me I was crazy .I still bought 4 cheese straws and a Blueberry Muffin for Wurzel out of courtesy ..

Love your sausage rolls and at 4 for a pound what's not to like!!They have so many deals there is bound to be something for even the pickiest of eaters on a budget.

Popped in here for a cake to go with a coffee as the ones in the window looked lovely. What a great selection to choose from and reasonable prices. Great bakery located on the main shopping street in Scarborough with on street parking close by.

Have wait ages staff seams to not with it. Again over priced for what you get. Pay same at M and S and get better!
