Me and my brotherHad an mixed meat kebab and my mum had chicken korma and rice. Really enjoyed it and would highly recommend if you are ever in congleton

Extremely rude person on the phone, I'd ordered plenty of meals from here that were always nice food, I rang once to ask if I could change a couple of currys on a meal deal, he was adding money for each change at £1 or 2 even though I knew they are less complex curries, as I've cooked plenty of curry myself BIR style, he told me I can 'F*#K OFF AND MAKE MY OWN CURRY THEN' - never been back since - don't give these people your hard earned money, rip off and disgusting charactors, plenty of other places in congleton to get same quality food from

Our go to Indian closed down, so we were on a mission to find another. Didn't know of the Congleton Tandoori until a flyer came through our door, so thought we'd give them a try. We've had takeouts with them five times now and all the food has been excellent every time. Really can't fault any of it. Their garlic naan is probably the best we've ever had and their chips (we always like a portion of chips while we're serving up, like a starter), their chips are crunchy and tasty. I always have a Chicken Tikka Masala, and the chicken every time is succulent, and there's a lot of it. The delivery driver is always super lovely and the food is always hot. New great Indian found. Mission complete!

Basically a bowl of rice and sauce for a tenner. Speedy service, good taste but totally lacking meat. Normally quite good but this was extremely poor.

Do not give your hard earned money to these arrogant rude people !! Never been spoken to so rudely in a takeaway before in my life !! Wouldn't go back there if it was free

Staff allowed me to pay later as card payment over phone not working, very helpful & trusting. Very happy with delivery service. Chicken quality good though sauce quality & flavour could be improved. Passed on my thoughts to Manager/Owner which he was happy to take on board.

Has been great for Indian food, with exceptional service, for sometime now. The menu is varied and freshly prepared, with traditional items and specials. The best Indian takeaway in Congleton by far.

We've had several meals from Congleton Tandoori. Had several different meals from the extensive menu. All really tasty making it difficult to decide to try something different. Never disappointed. Can't say about delivery reliability as we live 10 miles away. Our son, Congleton resident, has no complaints. Our collections have always been ready at the time given when online ordered.

First order in a long time portions small, what are those pots of sauce about? Chips? Salad? Lamb chops were just bone, lamb sheesh were like eating sawdust!! Sad as it was such a good takeaway

Not had a takeaway in awhile. What a fabulous treat. Delicious Chicken tikka bhuna. Onion bhajis were amazing. Food arrived really quickly and was piping hot. Thankyou!

Having tryed most of the Indians in congelton at some point with various results we tryed the reopened congelton tandoori and are now hooked. Always pleasent on the phone ,even knows our order now ,never a long wait just enough time to drive from biddulph to pick up meal . Food is consistently good and the staff are very pleasent . Prices are very competitive for this quality in this area..

Ordered takeaway to be delivered on Valentine’s Day as we obviously could not go out as we usually did. Have had good food from here in the past but not this time. The onion bhajis were cold and rubbery, the tandoori mixed grill came in a shallow plastic container and was cold. We ordered 2 Chappatis, they should be thin, these were like pizza bases, and again cold. Also had a chicken tikka balti, which although warm, the chicken had the texture of being warmed up. It was tough and dry. The delivery drivers have always had our meal in an insulated bag to keep it hot. Not this time. It had been sat on his back seat while he presumably delivered other meals on his way to us. We know the meal should be hot when it gets to us because we once collected it ourselves and drove straight home, it was hot ready to eat. I have put a review on their own website reviews and asked for a response but none has been forthcoming. Will be going elsewhere from now. We are regular customers and they can’t be bothered.

Have used this takeaway a few times in the past as the food is good but kept getting let down on deliveries so stopped using around 8 months ago So Ordered on the just eats app to give them another chance as wanted a change Ordered at 5-15 pm And on the notes told them They had let me down in the past but offering another chance Also asked for as close to 6-45pm delivery Giving them 1 and 1/2 hrs notice By 7-15 pm no sign So my partner contacted the shop only to be put on hold then was cut off!!! Went through the just eats app and the delivery driver contacted me to say he had no order for my address so by this time was 7-30pm Rang the shop again only to be told at least 30 mins before delivery so cancelled the order Moral is order and collect or take your chance Ps the food is good just the Service / Organisation Shocking 😢

Quick service. I sent the order at 18:00. The app told me the meal would be ready for collection at 18:25 - a few minutes later I got message saying the meal was now ready for collection. I was back home before 18:25.

We hadn’t had a curry since before lockdown so decided to have a takeaway for our wedding anniversary. Because we couldn’t have our family round we decided to also order a meal to be delivered to them. We have had food from here before and it has always been excellent, so we decided to ring them to place our orders. The person we spoke to was extremely pleasant and helpful and warned us that there might be a slight delay with our deliveries because of demand. We were told approximately one hour. In fact the meals were delivered to both houses within 50 minutes by a very friendly person and were red hot and delicious. We will be ordering from here again in the near future. Thank you for excellent service and delicious food.

Ordered from congleton tandoori since it re opened, had onion bhaji, chicken masala, chicken rogan josh, naan, rice, chicken chaat. All the food was perfect as usual cant fault this place. Delivery drivers are always friendly too. Wont go anywhere else 😊

Ordered at 18:40, expected delivery at 19:55, it didn’t arrive, APP was updated to read 20:20 delivery, didn’t arrive, called the shop, they said 15 mins, after 20 it hadn’t arrived. Then watched the delivery driver park next door, didn’t get out to check house numbers, drove up the road, we’d left identifying instructions on the delivery instructions. Got the food into the house, it was cold, my partner ate the starter and bit down on what turned out to be a small stone (have pictures to prove!)

This is the first time I have had a takeaway from here & was pleasantly surprised!The food had so much flavour.This will now be my go to takeaway.

Everything came in round plastic tubs almost like its made to look a lot but the containers are shallow. The food was cold and i selected ‘go large’ for the naan bread and rice which ended up turning out to be the standard portions you get from anywhere. Curry tasted nice but will probably give it a miss from now on.

I’ve used this takeaway for many years and I am continually impressed by the consistency shown in this time. I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed the food without cause to complain. Undoubtedly the best Indian takeaway in town.

Just trying to eat an extremely disappointing takeaway. Popadums soggy. Onion bhajis chewy. 2 curries bland, watery, tasteless and lacking meat. Unpleasant experience. Worst takeaway I've ever had. Inedible. Won't be spending £20plus at Congleton Tandoori ever again and I urge others to try somewhere else first.

If you only want to take out then the Tandoori is highly recommended. Near to the town centre. The staff are very friendly and will cook what ever your preference in spices are

Just moved to congelton so always taking a chance not knowing places but must say the food was excellent had the garlic chicken asked them to make it a bit hotter for me and it was perfect really good takeaway

I have never ordered from here before but considering that not many Indian takeaways in the area let you pay online and by card I decided to give it a try. The girl who delivered it was very friendly and pleasant .I ordered the sheek kebab for starter and it was very tasty however a lot spicier than ones I’ve had in other restaurants, but everywhere does it differently . I then had a veg korma which was lovely but I didn’t like the fact there was lots of sweet corn in it , wouldn’t be my choice of veg in a curry. I couldn’t fault the garlic naan however the rice was a little hard but nothing to complain about . Overall a lovely place to order from if you’re wanting a takeaway delivered I would definitely return

I’ve been going on and off for over 20 years. I’ve since moved away and called again whilst visiting family. Glad to say, the food’s not changed, and remains good value. 2 vegetable samosas, vegetable pilau rice, lamb tikka achari and a coriander naan bread for £11.75. All prepared in 20 minutes. The food was fresh and warm; the only slight negative was the naan bread was a little burned. That aside, I would definitely recommend.

Delivery and service brilliant but the food awful. Bread was all soggy and doughy and as if it hadn’t been cooked properly, and one dish I order came as something else. Also the curry was full of coriander which I am allergic to. All in all a disaster!

Really really tasty takeaway but they skimp you on the amount of meat so it's mostly sauce!! Lovely naan and rice.

all good but short changed me by £1 it was 17.75 and I give them 20.75 to get 3.00 back and I only got 2 I don't mind I was going to give them a tip any way but that's not the point but the food was lovely and hot

Delivery was stated for 19:35, however, food wasn't delivered until 19:55. Taste was ok, although, all of the food was just about warm, on delivery. ithe whole takeaway required the microwave prior to eating. Very disappointed.

Four of us had a takeaway, onion bhajis, pappadums, different mains and rice/naans. All were delicious. A first for us here although our son and wife have been converts for a while. Will return.

I was informed my food would arrive at 1720. At 1730 I checked the app. which stated my meal had already been delivered (obviously it hadn't). I rang the restaurant who said it was "on its way. " When I asked why there had been no update with a revised delivery date (which I world have been fine with), she provided no answer. The food eventually arrived at 1745 with no apology for the 25 minute delay (which probably accounts for the fact it desperately needed reheating before we ate it). Even worse, however, was the fact she tried to charge me for the food despite the fact I'd already paid by card through JustEat... Not at all impressed.

Excellent meal, one of the highest quality Indian meals we have eaten. The food tasted fresh and beautifully cooked and tender. I will definitley order again and will recommend. Delivery could have been a little quicker, no real issue. One hour from order to delivery on Saturday night is acceptable. The order confirmation was received after the meal was delivered,

The food was a little on the cold side. I used to collect from this takeaway and the food was never cold. I may order again using Just Eat but if the food is again delivered cold, I will go back to ordering direct from the takeaway and collect it myself.
