Comptoir Libanais in Dartford

Here for lunch to catch up with friends. We wanted a leisurely lunch where we wouldn’t be rushed and good chat, alongside some good food and that’s exactly what we got! Our host, Olu, was brilliant, so welcoming and friendly. The waiting staff were attentive. Food was good and tasty Would come again

Was really excited to try this restaurant. The excitement soon faded as the miserable server chucked a couple of menus at me while she stalked off to talk to her friends. When she came back to take my order, I asked a few basic questions about the food, answers were vague and it all seemed a bit too much for her. Waited patiently for 30 minutes eventually got what can just be described as a blackened dog chew disguised as a lamb kofta. The flatbread was more like a concrete disc, and the accompaniments all tasted strongly of malt vinegar. Pushed the food around the plate a few times and eventually gave up and asked for the bill. Not once was I asked about the food or the fact none of it have been eaten and to top it all off the cheeky cow added a 12.5% service charge. This place needs to be closed and a decent restaurant put in its place.

Very warm welcome, staff very attentive and friendly. Delicious wraps, salad, dips and pickles. One of my favourite places. Food always very flavourful. Great decor and atmosphere.

Bad service is poor and very slow!! Bad attitude is shocking and it is not great atmosphere. The restaurant should be shut down?

Worst service ever!we get my main course same time as my kids my partener has to wait a good 10-15 min to get his plate ! Chips arrive later for all of us maybe they think we are going to have them as a dessert🤨when I said to them this is not right as my meal is already finish and I am not having chips on their own and my partner did not get his plate the only answer back from the waiter was “sorry”

Nice dinner (Iftar Feast) with my family, amazing food and warm welcome from Lilly. Lilly a great host, attentive and she made our experience memorable. We highly recommend to family and friends.

The food here is so tasty and good sized portions and reasonably priced. All the staff here are fantastic, especially Peter who was extremely helpful. Would definitely return to sample more dishes. The restaurant is so quirky and I love the decor

Beautifully decorated restaurant, nice ambience, lots of small circular tables - great for 2's or 3's (I had sitting in a line of closely placed small tables for 2). They were busy and had a small queue at 12.45 on a Saturday lunch time which we took as a good sign; prompt attention from staff - we could have ordered using the code, but a staff member came along and was keen to explain how the menu worked. Lots of flexibility in the menu and sharing is encouraged. Herby tabbouleh was almost good enough to go back to especially; crispy falafel; creamy hummus and generous lamb kofta. All standard fare but very well done. Staff attitudes were refreshing - they looked happy to be there, it was easy to get their attention and they smiled! Always welcome.

Table for 6. Slowest service, she was friendly enough but we had to try and call her every time. Chose the salad with chicken cheese and pitta bread. The chicken was ok but the pitta was not immediately visable as it was tiny little bits resembling tiny cracker pieces mixed in with a humongous amount of lettuce and the tiniest little bits of cheese. £3.25 for a 750ml bottle of water. Coffees very cool sent the capuchin back not a good cup mostly steamed froth. My latte was better but not hot. Booking was for 6.30 we got out at 9 didn’t have starters and just one sweet might still be there. Not one of us could say the food was good. Toilet ok but as usual no one thinks about the back of the door.

Absolutely amazing night here with friends last night. The food was fab, the cocktails beautiful but the thing that made it memorable was our server Peter. He was funny, charming and quick to come over if it even appeared as though we needed something. Made the whole experience stand out for all of us! Thanks Peter!

Couldn’t agree any more with the previous review!! Awful! Only one waitress actually cared Got told we had to order with the qr code on the table Couldn’t remove service charge! When paying with my phone. I said to the manager that I would have preferred to have ordered with a human. No response! Food arrived, 3 dishes then the 4th arrived late. Very mediocre! Asked for more yoghurt dip and had to ask three waitress ( including the manager!) 15/20 minutes wait. Spoke to the manageress and told her the above and how disgusting the toilets were and she replied she would pass it on!! Not I’ll get them cleaned! AVOID this restaurant!! We will not be returning for several reasons!

The restaurant was only 75% full and had a full kitchen of staff (the kitchen is an open area). The host didn't know what to do when I asked for a table for one so cleared one table right in the middle and sat me down. No silverware, no explanation, no welcome. After 35 minutes of waving the menu at staff and being ignored, I simply got up and left. There were wait staff wandering around and even tables around me were getting frustrated at not even being acknowledged, let alone served. Read the other reviews before you enter here - 50% of them at least are negative. To improve, this restaurant desperately needs to improve their customer service experience.

I just love Lebanese/middle eastern style food, and wasn’t disappointed. Had the sharing platter which was fresh and one of the best I’ve eaten, highly recommended. Service was good, very friendly and attentive. I really love this brand, different to everything else on the high street. Now for the let down, guy please please please sort out your toilets - they are terrible! Just give them a tidy up, some paint maybe perhaps. I always judge a place by its toilet, if you can look after the toilets then think what the other back of house areas must look like - come on sort it out!

This is an atmospheric venue all terracotta vibes and vintage lighting , looks great. The prices are quite high. The waitress could have been much friendlier tbh. Many mocktails were off the menu. The food was tasty enough but small for the price. The Mocktails were left on the bill, school boy error and no apology. We therefore declined the service charge which was removed a little ungraciously.

This is an amazing place to go with your friends and families. The food quality and quantity both was top notch. The best place to have dinner. Staffs were extremely friendly and professional. I will definitely go there again and again Highly recommend.

Popped in for drinks mid shopping. Wish we'd got our servers name, he was fantastic. He out up with 5 menopausal women who think they're hilarious. Great sense of humour and the mocktails were delicious too.

Compared to other branches I've been to in London, food was very poor. Starters were cold, batata harra was just roasted soft potatoes. The falafel wqs so dry it was impossible to swallow it down qithout water. Seemed like all the food lacked seasoning too....
