Sedir Restaurant in Dartford

I have been here twice in a matter of weeks! One of my new favourites! Fab food, great atmosphere. Lots of music played on a Saturday night eith entertainment too.

was very disappointed with the size of combination Kebabs. 4 small pieces of chicken & lamb, and about 2 teaspoons of rice. All for £21. Will not be ordering again

This is the second time we have ordered from this restaurant and both times have been amazing, really decent portion sizes and better priced than others locally. Delivered on time

I think you can rename your daily soup to tomato soup at this point. Don't take me wrong I like your tomato soup, but.... Every day for like a month, it starts to get little bit predictable.

We paid £45.00 for a shared platter for 2, definitely not worth the price. Would have been better to order individual portions. There was only 1 adana kebab and 1 pitta bread and even the lamb chops had minimum meat on them. The food itself tasted nice but was overpriced for what you get

This is my second time here. Went out for a quick catch-up meal with a friend...staff very efficient and helpful. The food was very nice and cocktails were also 👌🏾 👍🏽. The mixed sharing platter was great value for money

Avoid this place, it's a scummy business, doesn't cater to you and just wants your money (with extortionate prices). Go to Efes, much cheaper, higher quality, and better service. At least there you don't get charged for 'complementary' bread that's forced onto you when you enter. Usually Turkish restaurants give bread, tea, and baklava for free, but this just isn't authentic

This is my favourite place to visit in Dartford! The staff are super super friendly, Iryna makes the best cocktails I've ever tasted (especially her Long Island!) and is extra attentive to all her guests (always welcomes you with a smile!). The atmosphere is brilliant, especially on a Saturday night with the DJ. So much detail have been put in to the interior, it's just like a little Italy. The manager always treats us good, he will make sure we have a table even when it's busy. The food is 10 out of 10 and very reasonable price for the portion size. 100% would recommend trying!

We went to the restaurant for our 15th wedding anniversary, a family of 8, we were served by John. It was the best restaurant experience. Well done John and the rest of the team. Looking forward to my next visit

My family and I had dinner to celebrate my aunt’s 15 year wedding anniversary. We were attended to quite promptly and the service was great. I have to say a special thank you to John for the wonderful service, the great hospitality and the mini jokes here and there to boost the mood. We absolutely enjoyed our time there and we look forward to going again.

Worst service ever made a order lamb shish n chips hard tiny portion of chips turned up wrap turned up wet n soggy couldn’t even eat it no salad in it called up they laughed an said kitchen said nothing we can do kept putting phone down disgusting service we’ve ordered from here so many times never had a issue now all of a sudden it’s like it’s just been chucked together an rushed disgusted

We went here a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it.Food was outstanding.The atmosphere was great the staff were there before you even needed anything thing.Give great advice on drinks selections. Made us feel welcome 100% we will be back ,thank you all for a great night bty the DJ was on point and the belly dancer was lovley.

Too expensive but not worth it. Staffs are not polite not impressed. If you go with kids this is not a good option. And the food was not at all tasty.dont waste money here.

Myself and husband went for the first time last night for our 16th Anniversary, and I really don't know why we haven't been before, seeing as the restaurant is on our doorstep. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, gorgeous food and good portions and really reasonably priced! And brilliant entertainment. We was going to go somewhere after our meal but decided to stay for the banging tunes! We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our night memorable. 👌🏼

Booked for a table of 12 for my birthday. They had clearly overbooked with us waiting 45 minutes for drinks at one point and starters/mains being brought out incorrectly. My chicken was bright pink on the inside where it clearly hadn’t been cooked correctly. Asked for bread for one of the starters which was hummus which we didn’t receive for nearly an hour. Any of the staff members that we dealt with were also extremely rude and not very helpful at all. At the end they tried to wack on a service charge (they’re mad, what service was that???) and so we asked for it to be removed. It was removed with the new bill being thrown at us by a clearly stressed out owner. Save your money and go to efes around the corner for a better experience. I never normally write bad reviews but the experience completely ruined my special evening. Also VERY overpriced compared to efes which is overall better.

Sedir is my favourite turkish restaurant and i have been going to Sedir for a while now. My now husband and I had our first date there and we had our 44 person wedding reception there in Msy last year, just getting round to writing the review! As others have mentioned, the portions here are large, the food is tasty and the staff really nice. For my wedding reception which was on a Friday, all my guests got to choose what they wanted from the menu (starter, Mains and dessert) snd everyone said how much they enjoyed the food. A special thanks to Oscar for making what would usually be a stressful day easy and I d happily recommend here for both regular dining and booking for special occasions/events

Went here before the theatre. Staff were hospitable and service was good. Prices were also reasonable and food was nice. No complaints

Won’t be ordering from here again. My order arrived drenched with salad juice and the taste was disappointing only ordered wings a chips came with a group of other things I didn’t order

After visiting Side kebab, the manager mentioned his restaurant, Seder in Dartford. We booked for our 32nd anniversary. Arrival was ok and was just pointed to the table we would be sitting at. Three small pots put on table and given menus. A young lady approached and said drinks, no good evening nothing,. We ordered a beer and cocktail and the beer arrived after 5minutes and then the cocktail 5 minutes after that; after having to rescue it from another table. The same young waitress came back and asked if ready to order which we did. After looking around and from previous reviews we hadn’t been offered any bread, but thought it would come with the starter. One started of calamari arrived and was nicely presented, tasted nice and was good value. As soon as the knife and fork was put down a waiter took the plate and said ready for you main meal? We then ordered another set of drinks, which arrived within a couple of minutes. Then within a minute we were presented with our mains… at this stage I has to ask if we were suppose to get bread and then we were bought some. I ordered lamb chops and chips, the chops were cooked as requested but the chips were luke warm bordering cold, the mixed grill arrived and was fine. When we finished our meal, the plates were taken away, and then we sat there for about half an hour, empty glasses, not offered another drink, dessert menu, nothing, The only approach we got was when a hand came beside me and took the empty cocktail glass, but it was so quick , by the times I turned around they were gone. I tried about six times to get the attention of a waiter/waitress but nothing, at one stage we thought we were invisible. Finally we got someone’s attention but at this stage we had had enough so just got the bill. Before leaving I visited the toilet, well that was an experience… entered the toilet door to a dark stairwell, up I went, turned the corner to another even darker stairwell. On saying that the toilets were very nice, cleanish(what to be expected after an days use) and beautiful sink to wash our hands. Then came the mammoth task of going down the stairs in near darkness. That needs to be addressed, it’s an accident waiting to happen! Health and safety would have a field day. Well overall, food 7.5/10 and service 2/10(and that’s being generous) It’s such a shame, we usually use the ASOS in Crayford, but thought we would give this a try. Sorry Seder Restaurant we won’t be rushing back any time soon.

Service very poor and lady server was rude . Would not let me have rice and chips with kebab 🤣🤣🤣 had to ask another server for my chips lol

We have eaten here a number of times but only take delivery so it was great to get the opportunity to go in for a chance. It didn't disappoint at all. The food was really good and we look forward to returning.

My friends and I came to celebrate a special birthday on Friday. The atmosphere was simply amazing! The DJ and entertainment really made our night. The food was delicious, fresh and hot. The service was attentive and personal. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I can’t wait to be back!

Only marked down on atmosphere, as we ate early, so few people in. Food was excellent though, as was the service. Not bad value either, but don't tell them that. Definitely recommend if you're in Dartford.

Came here last Saturday night. Such a lovely place. After we'd eaten we went to see a show, then we returned here for a good drink. They had a DJ on, Atmosphere was great. Staff couldn't do enough for you. We will definitely be back.

Had an amazing time at Sedir Restaurant in Dartford! Their grill dishes are incredible, especially the kebabs. Fresh ingredients, top-notch quality meats, and a cozy atmosphere. Ok dinner no flavours big portion. Rice in main course is bit bland. Starters and warm bread is good . But mains let down . Lamb was bit hard .

I and my friends visited Sedir restaurant yesterday and were very disappointed with the overpriced menu and ridiculously small portions. To make matters worse, my meal had a hair on it! There were very few options available from the dessert menu and the ice cream arrived with no presentation whatsoever. Be aware that they charge a service charge fee in your final bill, which we asked to be removed. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

Awesome. Great good, crisp salad. Did not leave hungry. Providing you aren't vegetarian, try the Turkish sausage. Will defo go back again.

My two daughters took me for a meal with my two grandchildren but myself and one daughter had tummy pains and upset tum so not the best for us 😔

I enjoyed the food and experience. The chicken was particularly good. Maybe there could be more choice of beers.

We booked Sedir Restaurant on the day as had been let down at the last minute from another restaurant in Dartford, and so glad it was. We had a lovely table for 10. The food was fantastic, the portions were huge and very tasty. Service was excellent. Good Dj and Belly Dancer was fun, getting my son up to dance. After our meal, we went in to the area where the DJ was, what a great set up, it was like our own private party with bar in this area and the room was decked out to look like a little village, very quirky and such good fun. Restaurant bought me a birthday cake out and we danced the night away. The total bill was such good value, we will definitely be returning and would recommend to friends.

The food was presented well and it was well cooked & juicy. We ordered a platter for 4 but everything was tucked in one big plate that made it hard to have the rice from underneath. Make sure to have rice separate in a bowl when you are ordering the platter. The food portion was alright. I was expecting it more considering paying £75 for a platter only. It could be just me but I found the ribs/chips abit salty. The tables are not big enough for 4 people.

It's very expensive. Portions are small. Tasteless not much flavour at all. Cost nearly £114 for 6 people Inc service charge

Do not order food with Sedir. My paid order has not been delivered and the customer service is so appalling that I’ve called three times to see if they have handed the order to the driver and they will not help. They hung up the first time and when I’ve called back they say they can not hear me because the restaurant is busy and too noisy. They also say the order wasn’t placed with them even though I have a record on my phone and even though they told me they had the order when I first paid and call to check an hour before. They have basically taken my payment and shown they don’t care about their customers. As long as they have the money, they couldn’t care less. Isn’t this theft at worst and disgusting customer service at worst.

A group of 60-somethings out for a second-marriage hen night, this was a great place to celebrate. Friendly staff, great food choice and taste. Liked the decor giving an illusion of being outside in a courtyard, complete with washing airing over balconies! Belly dancer friendly and encouraging. Not exactly busy for a Friday - but this was the night before the coronation. Only slight whinge was the otherwise lovely waitress wanting to clear the starters before the bride-to-be had finished, making her feel she had to rush.

I like this place...But! last night I ordered food for delivery on just eat..I cancelled and reordered three times for delivery but they would only do collection... I couldn't collect!. My just eat app says the food was collected. So I rang the restaurant today to find out who collected my food and was told it was the driver.. What driver?.. They weren't doing delivery..I'm confused I picked up nothing and received nothing and now I have three pending transactions on my account for approximately £35 each which I will contest vigorously . i doubt I will order here again !!

The most wonderful, delicious food and the most amazing team to create a superb experience. The staff make you feel so welcome and as regulars always greet us with such warmth. My favourite family restaurant in Dartford :)

Tasty Food , nice atmosphere, Turkish dancers and friendly staff 😉

This is one of three good restaurants in Dartford that provide a great dining experience. The service was excellent, food wonderfully cooked and cocktails to order. Wines are very well priced, good selection of beers and spirits. Only criticism was that our table was placed under a very large speaker and so at times it was difficult to converse with the heavy beating music. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable evening.

Deserves 15 stars by now. Stopped in here twice last year when away on a course. All three times have been epic. The lamb ribs man, so good. Honestly when sitting here eating the bread and sauces with a glass of wine feels so relaxing and then the main comes. It’s a pleasure to come back to dartford knowing I will be served food like that. I feel lucky to be able to try something so tasty. Best way I have eaten lamb yet. If you don’t mind looking like a pagan why munching on meat and bones accompanied by fresh salad and rice. With a cheeky half tortilla at the bottom that oddly enough is the best bit. Then get yourself down here. After a swim and a sauna and food like that I feel abroad . Banging food. Friendly staff. And the kitchen is visible, which is never a bad thing. Can’t speak highly enough of my : experiences with this place. I will be back this week and any other time im in dartford. Give this place a try .

Family platter is more expensive than other Turkish restaurants in Dartford , in the family platter there was no Doner kebab included in the meal. Lastly, The price was too high.

Great venue for a group night out, the disco side of the restaurant is really good with some late night dancing. Food was delicious, service for drinks could have been a little quicker.

This is my second visit, and I went a year ago. Me & the wife were delighted by everything again.

Went on a Saturday night with friends. Service was terrible and were waiting ages for drinks or cutlery for certain dishes, or just forgotten about. Food was nice but 12.5% service charge added on to our bill, for a bad service was not worth it. Belly dancer is the best thing this restaurant has because she actually smiles and makes an effort.

I recently discovered the restaurant and I am very excited. I go with pleasure, the food is absolutely delicious, the service impeccable, the staff is very friendly and attentive to customers. The drinks are made well and carefully. It relaxes me and makes me happy to go to the restaurant. Everyone likes music.

Lovely place - easy to find and the food was amazing. The food was tasty and cooked fresh, with delicious warm bread to have whilst deciding what to order. I personally found the portions quite large, but they supplied a takeout container for me to put leftovers in which was fantastic. They were very popular - the restaurant was very full, and I can see why. They did at one point turn music on which I personally found a little loud, making it slightly harder to have dinner conversations, but the atmosphere was great otherwise. Service was good- staff were polite and attentive

The starters weren’t great. The garlic prawns were extremely salty. Main was nice The main issue is the service…extremely slow/non-existent. Staff walking/standing around aimlessly but not asking what we’d like to order, not clearing the tables, taking ages to bring anything, most staff said they couldn’t take our orders and we had to wait for other staff for some strange reason. The music was extremely loud. I’m wondering if they had different staff before as others have left good reviews

So we booked for New Years Eve and this was our First time at Sedir, I must say it didn’t disappoint as the Food was lovely, atmosphere was great and we partied till 2am. The staff were friendly and the service was good so we will definitely go back

Beautiful place and lovely food. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because we have ordered a jug of Sangria, it arrived when we were half way through our main course. We were ok with that because the staff warned us that it will take a while. Unfortunately it was not worth waiting, the taste was disgusting, we could not drink it. We have told a guy in a black shirt, after speaking to someone they offered alternative drinks but we were about to leave anyway. The same guy told us that we were not charged for Sangria but when we checked the bill it was there. We didn't wanted to argue or make a big deal as we were already paid for the bill. Unfortunately for that reason and being dishonest with us we will not return there anymore .

Staff was rude, maybe he wasn’t in the greatest mood. Bread tasted off Initially went into get bread then ended up Getting the falafel kids meal as well. I asked if there was any sauces ( referring to ketchup) he said kids meals do not come with sauces. I’m happy to pay for any additional cost however that option wasn’t even given before I was dismissed. The falafel was burnt on the outside !

A very cool environment to.dine in, spot on customer services. The food was ok, very appealing looks, but the taste did not tickle my fancy.

Unfortunately, my previous review has downgraded from 5* to 2*. We visited and felt very unwelcome. Sat and looked at the prices on the menu, which are extortionate. The place smelt like "wet dog". We did not give ourselves the opportunity to eat and left promptly. Tips to improve: 1) improve your door manners and welcome to your resturant 2) ensure pet smells are removed from furnishings 3) re-evaluate your menu prices when a competitor around the corner has an immaculate set up, welcoming staff and excellent food - for 20% cheaper ...

Had a fab saturday night here, food was really tasty and good quality. The £40 sharing platter amazing quality, sat 'Bar Side' and stayed for few drinks at the bar really had a great night. Highly recommended.

Order it from this place we all get sick salat was smell to old chicken to row not cook bread was like a wood 1chiken shish and 1lamb shish over £25 lamb quite hard chewy everything was to old noting fresh price for large shish over 25 never recommended

Great food and service! There were 6 of us who decided to have lunch before the theatre. Extensive menu and the food was delicious. Large portions. Little gem!
