Go every week now - Chris is so friendly and the food and coffee are fabulous abd really good value especially for the centre of Beverley. They are more than dog fiendly they love them - fab place

+dog friendly +food & drink good quality +friendly staff -service was very slow & disorganised. the poor lady serving everyone seemed overwhelmed with a queue of 5 people. was probably waiting 10-15 minutes at the counter. hate to leave negative comments but hopefully it can be taken in a constructive way. the lady would benefit from having a process of either taking payment on order or after people are done because there was no structure. some were trying to pay after they'd eaten and others were paying on ordering so she was taking money for one order while writing down another. also sort of pointless to write down an order if you're at a till that you can just enter it into and save the extra step. overall it was a nice place just needs more structure and organisation during busy spells

Great independent cafe with varied menu of tasty food. We initially chose this cafe as it's dog friendly but we were pleasantly surprised.

Attended this establishment on a fairly quiet Sunday. 20 minutes sat waiting to even be seen and have any order taken. Waitress noticed us, saw me looking attempting to get her attention and proceeded to serve someone else. Left promptly, would not return.

like this spot, the coffee portion is ample and the cakes are delicious. its obviously a dog friendly spot and i liked this. the food on offer looked like it was good value for money. they are in a nice place looking at st marys church. we will return

We shared a brunch time experience with a special friend on her 80th birthday in this delightful cafe in central Beverley. Great drinks and food selection and we opted for the Full English Breakfast, Full Vegetarian Breakfast and a half FEB (with a choice of brown or white bread - of course all bread is brown once toasted - and how you want your eggs). Hearty meal and good value. Great selection of hot, cold and alcoholic drinks with attentive staff. Also dog friendly and some delicious cakes to go, of course! We’ll definitely be going back soon.

Had a lovely breakfast today with my grandson all good ingredients and well presented.First time in this cafe won’t be the last. Nice pot of tea makes a change from single cup.

This is a lovely little cafe with easy access and a warm welcome for dogs and their well-behaved owners, families with prams etc The coffee machine was broken today so I couldn't have a latte so I opted for a very nice coffee with oatmilk plus a gluten free brownie which was delicious! Two coffees, a gluten free chocolate brownie and a cookie for just over £7. Lovely!

Enjoyed the food and drink we had. Pleasant staff. Dogs are welcomed. Would call in again when we're in Beverley.

Fabulous, freshly prepared food served up in generous portions. Dog friendly, but with plenty of space between tables. Service was very friendly and efficient. We ordered ham, egg and chips, the steak ciabatta, and club sandwich. All were great quality and exceptional value for money. It's a great location opposite from St Mary Church, so handy for both the market shops and more cultural visits in the town.

We are regular visitors for lunch at Cole’s Kitchen in Beverley, it’s family and dog friendly with a great varied menu. We visited for a breakfast after a cold dog walk. We luckily just got the last table as it was very busy. We both ordered full English breakfasts with flat whites (our favourite coffee here). They were served in a good time considering how busy the staff were. It was all so delicious ! We enjoyed every bit of it. Cooked to perfection! We can’t wait to visit again. Would highly recommend this lovely cafe to everyone.

Quite a lot of our favourite places were closed for refurbishment so we took a chance on Cole's Kitchen. I wish we hadn't bothered as it was so disappointing. We were waiting quite a while for our order to be taken, it wasn't clear if it was table service or if we should order at the bar. It was so cold, I popped to the toilet which was even colder. Our food was absolutely ages coming and wasn't really hot enough but we had waited so long for it to arrive. My toast was burnt a little bit. It was so disappointing. Nobody asked if everything was ok with our order. Go to Central 42 for one of their breakfasts instead, it arrives hot, you get more food for your money and is enjoyable.

What a brilliant find Did some research before coming to Beverley for dog friendly cafés. This place didn't disappoint. Had the ploughman's and it was superb with home made relishes to accompany a brilliant range of quality food. First time ever I had to ask for a doggie bag as I couldn't finish it.. Served by a lovely girl who was polite and friendly. On our return to Beverley we'll be here again. Oh yes and the prices were reasonable too with a doggie friendly sausage for our four legged friend.

We were looking for somewhere for brunch on our way home for the coast that we could also take our dog along to. Coles Kitchen was perfect! Dog friendly, fantastic friendly service and amazing food! Just what we needed … an absolute gem. Thank you Coles Kitchen

As locals we visit this cafe regularly. There is always a warm welcome for both humans and their four legged friends! The food is always delicious and freshly prepared. They also have yummy cakes, cookies etc to eat in or take away. They sell ice cream for humans and dogs too. Did I mention that they’re dog friendly! A good drinks range from milkshakes to wine and beer. Well recommended if you’re in Beverley town centre

Called in today for lunch with my sister. We shared the Ploughmans Plater for 2. Very generous portions, fresh cooked sausage roll and scotch egg. Quality wine to accompany it. All in all, delicious. Lovely staff too. Little hem, will be back 🙂

On a recent visit to Beverly we came across this lovely cafe /restaurant Both had pots of tea and eggs on toasted bread with salad . Menu looks varied and the Club Sandwiches are what We will order on the next Visit to Beverly. Noticed the lighting was excellent inside and the place was relaxing with Very nice friendly staff .

Called in on the off chance for lunch. I had the tuna jacket potato which was delicious. Staff were helpful and friendly and the food was great value for money. Would visit again if in the area.

5 adults 2 toddlers and a dog turned up and what a treat. Fabulous breakfasts including eggy bread based one which was new to me but abs fab. very friendly and efficient service and beautiful cake and drink choice.

Excellent afternoon tea Very good quality food. One of the best afternoon teas we have had Excellent sandwiches, scotch egg, quiche, very large sausage rolls, scones with jam and cream and cakes. Tea and Americano coffee available. Soya milk and decaf tea and coffee available....

Great food, quick service, clean surroundings and best of all dog freindly with reasonably priced food. You can't get better than that.

Called in on Wednesday lunchtime, attracted by the Burgesses ice cream sign outside. Between us we had the chicken fajitas and jerk chicken from the specials board. Both meals were delicious, generous portions with lots of lovely chips. Service was attentive, however meals were a little slow in coming out (around a 30 minute wait) but that was fine as were in no rush. Wife finished off with the ice cream that brought back childhood memories for her. All in all an excellent meal at a very nice establishment, offering tasty home cooked food at very reasonable prices. Dog friendly too.

Very clean, cakes and cookies looked lovely, was very tempted. But the coffee is gorgeous. I drink cappacino and it is full of flavour, one of the best in Beverley 👍.

We went in for lunch on a rainy day, dog friendly. The waitress was very friendly, we had a vege and halloumi burger, they we both very tasty and reasonably priced. Really good coffee. Visited before and will definitely be going again.

This cafe isn't only comfortable, very covid aware and good food, it is an excellent place to take a dog .The staff are lovely with them ,water provided and treats available if wanted .

We visit Cole's Kitchen regularly and have always enjoyed our visits. The food is uniformly excellent, the surroundings good and the service first rate. Today we had a family brunch there which we all enjoyed. There is an excellent breakfast menu with something for everyone....

Walked into Beverley with my wife and puppy, and we were pleased to find Cole's Kitchen, where we had a warm welcome. Friendly staff. Comfortable surroundings. Dog friendly (in fact he was spoiled with a couple of treats by the waitress). I had the poached eggs with avocado on toast with pesto . Fabulous. My wife had the breakfast omelette, which was equally excellent. Would heartily recommend Cole's Kitchen, and will be back soon

We decided to have our lunch at this relatively new venue in Beverley after having an afternoon tea and lunch delivered to our home for a birthday treat during lockdown. The quality of both the delivery and the lunch we had on Tuesday was excellent....

Lovely cafe, food was good the assistant was lovely and we were able to keep our distance from others. Was a lovely treat and able to catch up with a friend. Will more then likely visit again ☺️

Met friends for coffee. Have not been before and wanting to go for a while so first place I visited when restrictions lifted was here . Coffee and cakes were amazing as was the cafe itself. Lots of cleaning being carried out, social distancing, immaculate...

We had 3 afternoon tea's delivered today, and 2 children's boxes. Was a lovely treat to make a not so great situation (lock down) that little bit more 'normal' and supporting a local family business in the process. Would recommend and will definitely order again. Thanks. The Beals

A rare trip to Beverley for us and as usual thoroughly enjoyed it. Found Coles Kitchen which was new to us and decided to have lunch there. What an excellent choice! Lovely fresh food and very reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and very helpful....

Coffee and food very good, but what lets it down is the dull decor. Warmer lighting and decor would improve the atmosphere, and make it more cosy. Friends of mine have not entered saying it looked too dark. Otherwise very good, and dog friendly too.

We used the room upstairs for a hen do for my friend, the room was perfect for this type of event, plenty of space and nicely decorated. We had gin afternoon tea and some had traditional afternoon tea, both were enjoyed, especially the brownies! I also ordered a cake to be made which was fantastic! The girls serving us were all polite and attentive making sure we had drinks etc.A great afternoon all round, thank you coles kitchen!

Fantastic - seriously recommended. Great brunch and great veggie /vegan options. Coffee was fantastic and friendly service.My only criticism: the lighting is bizarre and a bit cold. Changing from daylight bulbs to a warmer light would make all the difference and make it cosy - I’ve often walked straight past as it looks so dark it’s closed. Really think this would improve things and hopefully see more footfall! Cafes come and go so quickly in Beverley id hate to see this be one of them! 5 stars and I will be back.

Poor lighting. No atmosphere. As a suggestion the walls need to be decorated with posters or funky prints. I take it 'Cole's Kitchen' is named after a child...the owners son. Maybe an establishment aimed for young families especially with the children's themed meals. A niche market. Not for everyone. Dog friendly.

Visited today for lunch. We had freshly cooked scotch egg accompanied by the most delicious home made piccalilli and quiche and salad. Both lunches were absolutely delicious , a credit to the chef. Then I spotted they had on sale their homemade mince pies. Couldn’t get enough of these last year. £2 each to take away but I defy anyone to find a better mince pie. Devine.

We had been meaning to come here for ages. We checked if dog friendly and it certainly is. There was another 2 dogs in when we arrived and the staff lived the dogs being here! I like the coffee, latte was spot on. We have a sausage and a bacon sandwich. Really nice and felt like good quality meats. This could be a regular place for us now and especially on a Saturday after the park run

All food freshly prepared and well worth the wait. Runny scotch eggs, homemade sausage rolls and a large selection of delicious food on the menu. Daily specials on the board. Plus cakes/buns scrummy. Been there for breakfast and lunch and never disappointed.

Very nice food as Judith and I popped in on our way back from our weekly shop, the halloumi chorizo and avocado toastie was particularly good, we were a bit confused if it was table service or not but non the less a great stop off

We were so pleased with our take-out. 2 sandwiches, simple but tasty; 2 quality cakes and a cup of tea - all at a very reasonable price - and really friendly service.

Lovely little cafe, well worth a visit

We are regulars here with our dog Oscar. It's his favourite place as all the staff and most other customers make a huge fuss of him which he loves. He enjoys the treats and then chilling out in the doorway as on the photo. Thanks to all the staff for making us feel very welcome.

Good food at good price. Toilets spotless too

Leanne made the cake and cupcakes for our son's christening on 30/06/19. Leanne listened to what we wanted and accommodated all of our requests. The cake was two tiers, one of which was lemon and the other chocolate. Our guests commented on how delicious it was and lots of people were asking were it was from. The vanilla cupcakes also went down well with the children (and a few adults!).Would definitely recommend.

We really really enjoyed the meals we all had. Really well cooked pulled pork which was lovely with a salad bowl for me and a burger for my husband.

Staying down near Withernsea, we visited Beverley to browse the great market. Afterwards wanting a coffee and by chance found Cole's Kitchen, spotting the sign saying dogs welcome and having our two with us went in for a drink. Well the best coffee I've tasted for a long time, plus tea for the good lady and treats for the dogs. As it was around midday, and not being ready for lunch we left, but came back a couple of hours later for food, which was delicious. If we come to Beverley again, this place is a must for us, as it should be for you.

We have visited Coles quite abit sometimes just for coffee ,today we went for lunch and had homemade burgers they are lovely ,I highly recommend.

We visited on a weekday lunchtime to this recently refurbished coffee shop in Beverley which serves up lovely home cooked food and has a takeaway service. There is a good choice of food on the menu ranging from sandwiches, salads and hot food plus homemade cakes. Dairy and Gluten free food available too and the café is dog friendly. Friendly and welcoming staff.

A wonderful cafe close to Beverly gate. The staff and service was excellent. It’s dog friendly and the girls make the dogs very welcoming. The food and value is fantastic.

We went in a few times with family or friends,and every time was better and better.It’s child friendly (we need that),dog friendly,clean and spacious. The menu looks lovely and great prices too.The food is delicious and cakes and coffee amazing! Would highly recommend!
