Absolutely lovely lady runs the place. The chef is amazing in the food he cooks. Probably the best breakfast I've had in 16 years of living in England. You won't regret trying it.

Popped in for a coffee when we were in a walk. It was really busy for a Sunday morning, families and friends alike. I ordered a flat white (£3.50) and was quickly served by a nice member of staff. Menu seemed comprehensive and the cakes looked of the highest quality.

Having heard great things about this place, we finally made a visit. I was glad I booked because it soon filled up! Despite being really busy, we found the lady who served us (maybe the owner?) was incredibly attentive and just so lovely! The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. I had the lamb kofta mezze and my mum had the bubble and squeak with crispy bacon and avacado. Both meals were presented beautifully and were thoroughly enjoyed. A huge pot of tea was shared and we were offered more hot water for the pot and a bottle of still water on the table. We arrived feeling welcomed and we left feeling full and happy and relaxed! Highly recommend 😊

I have visited Gingers a few times now and today’s visit did not disappoint. It’s a bijou but lovely cafe with an appealing menu and great, welcoming staff. I would recommend anything with the hash browns! They are some of the best I have ever tasted and always up to standard.

Went to Gingers for brunch, based on a family recommendation, and we weren’t disappointed. Plenty of tables, inside and outside (on a sunny day like today) and a genuinely warm welcome from the team. The large traditional breakfast, at under £10, was brilliant as was the bubble & squeak, avocados and poached eggs. Large coffees and fresh orange juice to boot. Great homemade cakes too good to resist as a take out for afternoon tiffin. Very dog friendly and, so good, we booked a table for a couple of weeks time…..can’t wait to return A real gem if you’re in Willerby.

My friend took four of us here for morning coffee/breakfast and what a lovely place, staff were really friendly and helpful , food was lovely and the cakes were very tasty.

We have been to Gingers many times and it's always tremendous. The menu is varied, everything is excellent ingredients cooked beautifully and the people who work there are so nice and have pride in what they do. It's a real gem that's well worth a drive out if you're not in Willerby.

Second time we’ve visited this place in the space of a week (speaks volumes I think) The ladies who run this fab little cafe are so friendly and welcoming and the food is absolutely amazing tasty and delicious Added bonus that its dog friendly,took our little pooch today and they was quick to get him water and doggy treats 🐶 Keep up the good work ladies 😊

Lovely little place, really great service, wonderful fresh food, and the tea and coffee is better than the general cafe's! I have not given 5 stars and am being picky... only for the fact is that yes you do pay for quality but found nearly £10 for a breakfast and drinks were additional, slightly steep (think it was approx £28 just for 2 to have a quick brekkie and a hot drink), and found the parking was a bit of a pain. But it's certainly worth trying and definitely will be returning!

Just to say a huge thanks for the amazing afternoon tea party for my surprise 70th birthday party. The food was wonderful and there were so many lovely comments from the guests. The venue was perfect for the occasion and Julie and Gary could not have been more accommodating. Special thanks go to them for the trouble they took over my GF food which was absolutely fab. The veggies and the carnivores were equally as well catered for. Everyone had a lovely time.

We had brunch at Gingers after collecting our Daughter from the station following her arrival from Luxembourg. Absolutely amazing, can highly recommend the Benny eggs with bacon special and Charlotte had avocado and poached eggs on toast . The best brunch we’ve ever had . We have visited Gingers twice in the last two days. Excellent coffee, amazing cakes, and very dog friendly. My sister said it was the first time her dog had ever laid down anywhere other than in a house! The staff are really friendly and proper dog lovers. Although my sister is local, we are not, but we will definitely visit again when we are next in the area - hopefully for brunch, which looked delicious!!

My wife and I have just returned from coffee and cake both where excellent only equalled by the welcome we received, we are dog sitting a timid spaniel who was greeted with friendliness .hope to return here for more coffee soon.

We had an afternoon tea to celebrate my mother-in-law’s 80th. Julie rang us beforehand to discuss dietary requirements and so on. The service was excellent. The food was great and there was plenty of it. Tea and coffee were topped up as required. Would definitely recommend.

Yet another lovely lunch with friends. Staff are so friendly and accommodating as I am vegan and gluten free. Food is fresh and well presented as well as tasty. Definitely worth the trip as we are not local to Willerby. Great choice of food and specials so has plenty for everyone which reflected in the amount of people visiting. Great find!

Just popped in for a coffee. I sat outside where there was plenty of space to watch the World go by! Exceptionally friendly team and whilst I didn't eat, a couple of what looked like avocado 🥑 salads that were brought out to a nearby table looked amazing!

Visited Gingers on Saturday. I pre booked as I am gluten free and vegan. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating for me and my friend. The food was fresh, presented well and lovely. It will definitely be on our go to list of independent cafes to revisit. Thanks for all the support. Susanne

Always love coming here for breakfast/lunch. It’s dog friendly, they always accommodate our dog and make him feel welcome. The food is amazing, I like how the specials change regularly. For me personally the only thing missing off the menu is salmon. The staff are very friendly. Never any complaints. Would definitely recommend

The quality of the food and coffee would be enough to bring us back - but added to this is the atmosphere and the wonderful staff. We ate in at Gingers for the first time today. We arrived at 9am and had full English breakfasts (one veggie) which were delicious. We had called to book a table and the most friendly lady booked us in. The same lady served us there and was so nice and chatty with our little boy. We have had food from Gingers several times (including beautiful afternoon teas) but never eaten in before but will definitely go back. Food cooked to perfection with the most lovely, friendly ladies serving all at a reasonable price. Thank you Gingers.

Absolutely fabulous place! Super menu with lots of choice , including gluten free options which is an added bonus. The food is excellent everything really good quality and well presented. The staff are absolutely lovely-so friendly, nothing is too much trouble Another advantage for the doggy clientele, Gingers doesn't just allow them they welcome them and even have a pet portrait notice board for their regular customers. Gingers also do 'special evenings' for various occasions I have recommended Gingers to many friends all who agree it is the absolute best I have to travel 10 miles to get there but well worth the journey! If I could give you 10 stars I would!

This was a nice choice for a traditional breakfast. Staffed by two friendly ladies, I was made to feel welcome. Absolutely no complaints about my breakfast and I even had a tomato replaced after I dropped my first one on the floor. Great choice.

Tried Gingers for the first time during the lunch period and was taken aback by both the food and service quality. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was really reasonably priced and of a high quality .It satisfied mine and my partners hunger extremely well. The tangerines initially threw me off in the salad (never ever seen this before ) however after tasting , this added another dimension to the salad and was pleasantly surprised by sweet undertones offered by the orange. A very quirky method I've not seen previously however added even more to the unique and brilliant experience I had endured at Gingers. Thank you for having us we will definetly be back !

Was really looking forward to meeting up with some friends for lunch and support our local cafe but we were unfortunately unable to be accommodated as the cafe is not pram friendly. We had two prams with us (sleeping babies under 3 months so not ideal to take them out) and were told that they had been told by East Riding council that they weren’t able to allow prams inside due to the health and safety of carrying hot drinks past us and the venue being too small. We tried to sit outside but it was far too cold/windy with it being January. Very disappointing as the cakes and food looked lovely !

The food, staff and service is always Brilliant, today I tried the New Surf & Turf burger and I can say it was amazing!!! The best Burger I have ever had. My wife had the New Bacon and Blue Moo burger and she said it was also amazing and exceeded all expectations. A great place to chill and have first class food and drink with brilliant service. I had the pleasure of celebrating my 50th birthday here, twice. I had afternoon tea on my actual birthday with my sisters and daughter and then a tapas night with a few friends, family and work friends. I can not fault anything, the afternoon tea was beautiful, it was all fresh and as much tea as anyone can drink (& we drink a lot of tea) lol. Julie was more than accommodating and it has a lovely pleasant atmosphere 🥰. The tapas night was something else, it was candle lit and banners were placed around the room, even a birthday card on the table, along with some appetisers 😋. There was also music playing in the background. The food on the menu was absolutely delicious, all made with love and care and presented beautifully 😍, it was absolutely gorgeous and everyone agreed how nice it was. Drinks were available to buy, ranging from tea/coffee, soft drinks, beer and wine. There was just me and my party of guests, so it was a nice intimate event and great for a small celebration. I highly highly recommend Gingers, massive thanks to Julie for making my birthday really special 😊 xx

A fab cafe - the perfect place to rest a refuel. Have visited a few times recently with my friend while walking our dogs. The dogs are made just as welcome as we are which is lovely for us as dog owners. They love their sausage treat and water. 🐕‍🦺👍

Lovely little cafe in Willerby. We are new to the area and we are trying all the local places to eat. Went for breakfast at 1000 on a Saturday morning. We did book and glad we did as it was busy and those who did turn up without booking could only sit outside. Enough choice including vegetarian options. Good portions, well presented and tasty. All reasonably priced. Lovely attentive staff. Enjoyed it that much we booked for 1000 next Saturday.

Got a party buffet from Gingers, they were very helpful with selection of sandwiches, salads and other side dishes as well as collection times. The buffet was absolutely excellent, ticked every box. I would highly recommend Gingers for their catering and service.
