Coffee Yolo in Newcastle upon Tyne

Always lovely to gossip after a lecture with a coffee yolo at the stack -has a great atmosphere and heaters! Ask for the £1.50 coffee!

The coffee sounds great - bored looking assistant behind the counter - we asked for three coffees, one cherry bakewell (almond, whipped cream and cherry sauce), one hot choc and one white chocolate latte. Maybe when the assistant wiped off a dry piece of cherry sauce of the bottle, I shouldn’t of expected much. Lukewarm, no cream and tasteless- when we mentioned the cream and also the temperature we were greeted with ‘oh yeah’. The hot chocolate was just as dreary. Don’t worry about burning your mouth either.

I had to pour my coffee away after a few sips it was soo bad! So acidic and bitter! I got a latte as all my other coffee places were closed. Waiting in line I hear the lady in front say 'ooh this latte is actually quite nice'. This gave me false hope and I excitedly looked forward to my coffee. Honestly even Starbucks, costa, café Nero, and any other chain could make better coffee then this. I'm not sure if its the beans or badly made but it was undrinkable, I had to force the few sips I had. Other stuff they sell probably wont be as bad as their coffee because that would be pretty hard to do not gonna lie.
