Coffee Pot in Christchurch

Stumbled upon this place on way back to train station. Was hungry but only had time for snack. Spotted the Smoothies on the board and asked if the chap could make it less thick. Was duly obliged and the Tropical one was excellent. Had the New Yorker wrap. Very tasty. Came with amazing coleslaw and a small (exceptionally) salad garnish. The bill was just shy of £13 which I felt was a lot considering the board outside advertised a Rise & Shine breakfast for £3.75. However I was aware of the prices and felt it was acceptable when ordering. I sat outside but the inside looked welcoming and was very clean. Oh and there were delicious and tempting looking cakes on a Coffee & Cake £5 deal. Next time 😍 Definitely found my stop off place on my next visit.

Really friendly cafe, good conversation and a great place to eat breakfast. We were inside, but it also has an outside space for the warmer weather.

My son and I visited back in June 2021 and were greeted with the warmest smile from the lovely lady, I apologise I cannot recall her name at the moment. We visited as they opened for the morning and were the first customers of the day. Very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, the food and drinks were smashing. I had the vegetarian version of eggs benedict and it was perfect! I attach photos for you to view. My sons breakfast is there for you to see, which he loved too, we will absolutely be returning very soon. Making me feel hungry just thinking about the breakfast there now! The lovely gentleman who prepared our food was an absolute star, banter, and plenty of skill in the kitchen. I highly recommend you pay this lovey gem a visit, you will be spoilt for choice of food and drinks, plus they cater to all and i mean to all! Dietary requirements are no problem there. There is a car park round the back and some on street parking too. Thanks to all at The coffee pot and kitchen....We will see you very soon.

Lovely cafe. Food was absolutely lovely One of the best breakfast we've had in a long while. I had the bacon and avocado on muffin. Other half full English. Cheap parking next door 90p and hour , highly recommend and all covid safe

found this little cafe whilst staying in Christchurch James and Kerry were very welcoming fantastic breakfast cooked fresh can highly recommend the avocado poached egg and bacon if ever down this way again will definitely be back

Have had a takeaway coffee from here a couple of times, this was the first time I’d been for breakfast. Genuinely exceeded expectations - high quality ingredients, clearly cooked by someone who cares about quality and presentation. Friendly staff, good customer service, opens a bit earlier than most, and best of all, serves breakfast all day. Definitely will come back.

Have recently started going . The owner is a really nice guy and does decent baguettes. Will hopefully continue to come for my Friday fix!!

Popped in here for a quick bite between meetings, and was really welcoming. Staff were friendly, food was lush and altogether was a delight. Easy parking outside was a big pro for me too

It is a small place with nice view and food. the food is prepared in front of you which is good because you are sure everything is all right. The service is great and quick. Amazing!

If you're in Christchurch and fancy a good cup of coffee, tasty light bite and very friendly service then try the Coffee Pot. First visited on a rainy day in early November 2018 and left my brolly there. Returned in December and as soon as I walked through the door the owner, Jimmy, handed me my brolly!! Return there for coffee and a light bite every time we visit Christchurch. Consistantly good coffee, food and service. Come on - support your local hardworking enterprises.

I've been here several times since working in Christchurch over the last few years. I think it has recently changed hands - the last time I visited for a cup of tea and piece of cake the atmosphere seemed to have changed. It isn't the relaxed, friendly place it used to be. I have been to more pleasant places in Christchurch for my lunchbreak.

This cafe was a lucky find and worth the walk. It is great value for money, the husband and wife team are lovely and the food is delicious! We needed somewhere with gluten-free options as we had someone that is coeliac with us...everywhere else seemed quite pricey or limited to GF cakes in Christchurch...this cafe has lots of gluten-free choice and nothing was too much trouble... a fantastic find, particularly if you have a need for gluten free.

Really friendly and nothing is ever too much for them, we get food delivered weekly and it always arrives in good time and always super yummy... there crispy bacon is the best!!

Found this place after staying at the Travelodge the previous night. Easily accommodated, lovely host and very friendly staff. Prices all very reasonable for food given, in my opinion sausages could have been better quality but the kids loved them. Soft drinks and hot drinks available. Gorgeous looking homemade cakes available, sandwiches available from the sandwich bar to takeaway, takeaway breakfast and drinks available as well (tea coffee etc), toilet available for paying guests too. Seating available outside as well I think.

Visited the coffee pot today for the first time for the all day breakfast. The menu is extensive with a good choice of food . The breakfast was huge and lots of variety .

Been coming here for years and food and coffee is always top class- 5 star hygiene award and the place is spotless. Maria is a first class host and Jade prepares the food to a high standard- always a friendly welcome- top class.

Sorprendentemente, me encontré en la zona de Christchurch (mi ciudad) mañana tarde y de repente sentí como tener un brunch desayuno. No he estado en la cafetera por un tiempo considerable. ¡y me alegro de haberlo hecho. Pedí un desayuno vegetariano. we always ring up the coffee pot for a delivery no matter how small our order is they will always deliver for us they are lovely polite people and we always have a giggle with the man who delivers our food . we are mydentist in Christchurch and the food is lovely we have there food nearly every day . gorgeous food and lovely staff . thank you very much coffee pot and your delivery man always makes us laugh

Eat in here frequently and always top class. 5 Star hygiene rating and always spotless, food always piping hot and nicely plated up- staff friendly and attentive. This is the best cafe in Christchurch by a long way.

Sin duda merece la pena una parada si visitar Christchurch y muy cerca del aparcamiento de la rotonda en el centro de la ciudad. Lattes agradable y un sandwich de bacon empezó el día bien super para nosotros y los nietos. Gran servicio y muy amable y bien hecho al personal para servir a los niños primero. Todo bien. Parecía que había algunos interesantes comidas especiales.

Smiley, efficient, clean and with a HUGE variety to choose from, if you need a breakfast, forget the hotel and walk here!

Yo me comí un sándwich mayo de atún con queso rallado a mano blanco fresco de pan cortadas de un Loaf apropiado. el café estaba caliente y de buen sabor. El servicio fue atento y amable. Been here loads of times- food always freshly prepared to order, tasty and hot and good value. Best coffee in Christchurch- five star hygiene rating and staff lovely and attentive- this is a proper little place that deserves the best.

My dad's a fuss pot so for him to praise somewhere is rare, we all had a panini each, soft bread lots of filling, hot coffee and friendly service. It's off the main highstreet but worth the walk out(only a 5 min walk)

Desayunamos en la cafetera semana pasada y tengo que decir que era absolutamente terrible. Las salchichas era difícil y los huevos revueltos es de lo peor que he probado en mucho tiempo. De hecho, era tan fuerte que no pude comer. Sólo un poco lo bueno era el tocino! Con ese buen servicio es una pena que el desayuno no tiene nada especial. La salchicha era particularmente mala - no mucha carne y era evidente que ese horrible correoso consistencia. El resto estaba recién preparado. Café que no estaba mal. Tostadas era barato White troceados. habría estado dispuesto a pagar un poco más por mejores ingredientes.

Excellent light lunch here yesterday with family, including a toddler. The staff are friendly, and very responsive to our needs. The food was freshly prepared, well presented and very tasty. A gem of a place. We will return!

This place is award winning as a cafe supposedly, it was pretty regular when I went for drinks and some cake and very pokey, a bit cramped for seating.

Tiny little cafe on Bargates,but the only place to come for a really excellent Panini. Very friendly welcome and very reasonable.

Nice to go to a traditional local independent coffee shop than a big chain. Food is good, coffee lovely and the staff very helpful and friendly.

Tan emocionado de haber encontrado una pequeña cafetería encantadora así que local para mí. Nos ofrecieron una amplia variedad de opciones gratuitas al gluten. Pude disfrutar elegir y disfrutando de mi almuerzo como un normal, no celiacos ... una delicia. La comida era deliciosa, bien presentada y a un precio razonable, el personal era muy eficiente y amable y el ambiente es cálido y acogedor. Voy a ser un habitual de ahora en adelante.

Estaba buscando algo local para el almuerzo ya estoy trabajando en la zona. metimos en como oitside de señal mencionado sopa sin gluten. no me decepcionó. Pequeño y acogedor construido en 1.984 y reformado café muy acogedor y amable personal. Todos los rellenos puede hacerse en // ensalada y pan sin gluten de patata opciones libres son clwarly marcados. Nos dieron la única mesa vacía en el almuerzo hoy! Sin duda volveremos para más :)

El título lo dice todo. Tenía un trozo grande, cálida, con una generosa dollop de nata de Dorsetshire al lado. Gert exuberantes, fue, y el servicio era amable y rápido incluso el sábado por la mañana ajetreada. Esta fue mi primera visita y no será la última.

As regulars to this family run café, cannot rate it high enough. Wide ranging menu for breakfast, lunch and tea - the service is always friendly, attentive and speedy. If you haven't tried Coffee Pot yet, you really must.

Llegamos a la cafetera como un grupo de 8. aquejadas 4 adultos y 4 niños padecían hambre fresco en un vuelo desde Dublín. Nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos inmediatamente por el hijo de los propietarios que hizo para nosotros en una tabla. El servicio era fantástico, pedidos trajo muy rápidamente y comida todo fresco. Lo mejor fue el Dorset Apple Pastel servido caliente con nata ... realizadas por los dueños madre ... increíble. Es un lugar estupendo para almuerzo casero.

Hay unas cuantas cafeterías en Christchurch pero creo que que este supera todos las manos de otros. Está situado en el lado de Bargates de la ciudad, así que los visitantes deben tener en mente.
