I absolutely LOVVEEE Coffee cherry, and all the drinks I've tried are all fresh and increadible in my oh so humble opinion, the waits are never as long as costa and the staff are so friendly, I've been coming pretty much every time I'm in town and will continue to till I'm long gone.

By far the best coffee in Alton and being able to pick up such a great range of coffee for home is also a treat. The staff are always friendly, engaged and chatty - they bring a bit of sunshine to a grey school run morning! Alton is very lucky to have this place.

I went in for coffee whilst working in the area and can honestly say it was the best coffee I've had in a while. Had a lovely conversation with the owner and will be buying some coffee beans for at home 😁

One day I randomly Googled to see if there was anywhere locally that roasted coffee beans; so I could get as fresh as possible. I couldn't believe it when my seach returned an address, locally, in Alton! So I checked it out immediatly and could smell the beans roasting on approach. Ever since, I've worked my way through each type of roast, coming to the conclusion that the Alton blend is by far my favourite. I bought some more yesterday, and will buy another bag as soon as these have run out - which take me about a week.

This has been my ‘go to’ coffee shop for several years. The coffee tastes great, but it is the customer service from all the team that keeps me coming back. Nothing is too much trouble, everyone is polite, friendly and engaging. Coffee and food orders are always prepared speedily and on target, making it a pleasure to visit. Popped in this morning and ordered 2 drinks. I was very clear “one decaf flat white, one long black”. Staff only made the long black. Why they didn’t make the first drink is a mystery. The bigger mystery is why they shouted at me when I politely asked where the decaf flat white was. They cut me off and wouldn’t let me explain so I left feeling bemused as to why I was shouted at because of their inability to make 2 drinks. I understand they may have been confused because I was one person ordering 2 drinks, but this isn’t a game of Schrödinger cat. I still wanted a drink for myself and another person. That other person still exists and wanted a drink even if they weren’t in the shop physically. On a positive note, I purchased coffee beans and they are great. Would recommend beans, not the aggressive service. Edit: if you watched the CCTV you could clearly hear that I didn’t change my order. Your response fails to acknowledge the rude behaviour of your staff.

Great coffee and tasty cookies. Superb value. Friendly staff. Very welcoming. I think that we will be investing in a coffee machine (non-pod) so that we can sample the fantastic range of beans on offer.

Very nice little coffee shop. Smells amazing, loved the displays Got a takeaway Biscoff Latte and a hot chocolate. Both very tasty. Offers take out optiononly for food and drink. Selection of different ground coffee blends and roasts to buy and take away.

Cherry coffee is the only place a go for coffee and hot chocolate. Discovered this place a few years ago and converted to this coffee either take away or brewing at home. The hot chocolates are amazing, I don’t normally like hot chocolate, however this isn’t made with a powder it’s a type of syrup, but it really is amazing!! Recently tried the smoothies, the strawberry one tastes like jam, it’s so good. Lastly the people working in there are lovely and super friendly, it’s always a pleasure going in and having a chat. They are always welcoming and friendly.

Stopped in the area on work, the guy inside serving was sooooooo knowledgeable, told us all about the process, the different blends, took his time to give amazing service, and had a fantastic beard. Highly recommend a visit to this amazing little place if you're in the area. He blended me some Colombian coffee to take home to my Mrs. What more could you ask for.

Great coffee,but when you pass buy it smells like burnt coffee grounds.Don’t let this put you off,they don’t serve burnt coffee. No seating either,that’s a shame

As soon as you walk in you are immersed in the heavenly smells of real fresh coffee. Friendly knowledgable staff help you choose the coffee you seek. We thoroughly enjoyed Celestial Coffee when we get home. A must to visit if you appreciate the best freshly roasted coffee

Lovely coffee house - we watched the coffee beans roasting while waiting for our lattes and bacon rolls. Lots of coffee varieties on offer, together with cakes, rolls, bubble tea etc. Brilliant 👍🏻

Good (Celestial) coffee, friendly staff.

Solid 3 stars. Great choice of coffee in there, some interesting and award winning blends and the single origin from China was delicious, also very easy to park at. Downsides, you can't just get a cup of tap water unless you drink it there and then, no seating and only served in takeaway cups. They do a range of snacks/biscuits too but nothing that looked appealing.

A fantastic coffee shop - best in town! A fab range of blends and drink varieties all made by lovely staff who seem genuinely interested and keen in both their jobs and their customers. Can't say enough good things about the place, I just wish they would expand across town as I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else.

The Americano was above average. The gluten free dessert options were made with margarine. I personally prefer butter so was disappointed and did not order one. The customer service was excellent!

This is my favourite place to get coffee, the prices are a bit high, but it comes with high quality. Overall I strongly recommend to anyone who has taste buds.

I am not a local to alton, but i visited here for a catch up with a friend yesterday. The service was lovely, along side the biscoff latte and brie and bacon panini. I think it’s really important to support local businesses during these times and coffee cherry were fantastic! I don’t usually review places but this deserved a review

Fantastic coffee and friendly service from a small local business..also do really good range of gluten/dairy free cakey biscuity brownie type things...very good price on those. Nice looking baguette sandwichy type things to. Highly recommend.

Great coffee, try the Tiger roast!

My daughter bought me a Mother’s Day tea from Coffee Cherry and it was first class. The deal included warm paninis full of ham and melted cheese - delicious! The sandwiches were super fresh with lots of filling and the cakes were amazing! Can’t wait until I can find an excuse for another celebration that needs cakes and coffee from Coffee Cherry!

Amazing little shop, the waffles are a great snack for lunch time at college or after a long walk, and smoothies are great too. A number of friends also recommend the bubble tea and coffees.

Brilliant selection of proper artisan coffee to drink in (when not in lockdown) or take away. Beans and ground coffee of their selection are also available to buy. Delicious baked sweet goods and filled rolls, sandwiches and hot ciabatta type things also available. Much better than Nero or Costa by a country mile.

Awesome coffee, freshly roasted in house! I've visited a couple of times for take away (which is delicious) but mostly use the mail order service for whole bean coffee for my machine at home. This service is flawless, always fast postage and always fresh roasted beans with date stamps on the resealable bags. Will continue to use and try the diverse range of beans, origins and roasts. Oh and thanks for the call the other day to double check I needed whole beans!! Great service xx

I love my coffee and know my coffee. This is a great little gem in Alton. The owner is lovely and very welcoming, she roasts beans in house and the coffee is lovely with lots of choice. Takeaways during this pandemic are handy too. Defo check this place out.

Sent my husband in today to brighten our day. The coffee is always good and the cakes we have tried have been great. The customer service is pleasing and they are really welcoming and friendly. I will continue to use them as my weekend coffee shop

We had heard good things about the Cafe.Ordered some waffles for pickup this week. Tried the maple bacon and banana version. Good combo, but eating it hot at the place would have made it all the more delightful.Will have to make the trip again sometime when COVID subsides.

I pop in here regularly and the staff are always kind, friendly and helpful. I always feel welcome, even with a buggy in tow! The coffee is absolutely excellent and I love the loyalty card system. There is a great range of traybake and cakes to try, and they always look very tempting - I love the biscoff brownies in particular. The toasties are fab too. The staff have done particularly well to adapt to the new Covid 19 regulations - the cafe is spotless, there is a lot of space to socially distance while waiting and it is so lovely that they are open again! I highly recommend this lovely little independent cafe - a great addition to Alton.

Always had tea and coffee together with their fabulous Waffles,we prefer the banana ,ice cream and maple syrup,but our daughter likes the one with bacon.Their homemade cakes are also very yummy.

Wonderful independent coffee shop that offers something for everyone. Probably the best coffee in Alton - the only cafe in town that takes it seriously. Fantastic for coffee enthusiasts thanks to the variety of beans and brews on offer (V60 pour over, siphon etc.), but also great for anyone who just wants a good quality cappuccino and a nice piece of cake. All the staff are friendly and knowledgable, and the interior is very comfortable. So pleased for everyone in the team that the cafe has become such a success! Recommended highly.

Very nice selection of drinks . I had a apple,and blueberry fruit tea. Circular round when trying to eat tables a bit annoying as they keep moving. The service was quite efficient

Popped in while we were shopping. A lovely little place, welcoming and staff attentive. The coffee was good, a bit hotter would have been nice. Good value and even had a taste of a wonderful cake the owner had made in the shape of a pirate ship- bake off candidate maybe I have heard !!!! Will visit again rather than use Costa. How about a loyalty card! Keep up the great job you are doing.
