This looked like a great little place and was busy so gave it a try. Won't be back though. It was constantly busy - as soon as anyone left their table was occupied immediately. However never once did we see a table cleaned between customers!! And new customers cleared cups and plates away themselves aswell. But no sign of wiping tables at all!! Also by the time we'd finished our coffees there were 3 dogs in there. One being fed by owners crumbs on the floor! Sorry but this is unacceptable for us!

Would have loved to give a review of this newish cafe but unfortunately our bad experience prevents this. On entering the cafe we sat down on one of the few empty tables. No menu in sight so presumed one would appear, sadly didn't happen. Two young men behind the counter, we were ignored, no acknowledgement of our presence. We sat and waited, nothing! Oh dear, we had to leave and go to the brilliant Olivers

As a regular of this establishment, I have been here many times. The staff are incredible and the food never fails to hit the mark. I will be here often as usual and will likely still get cake to go. Nom nom. Best café in Ripon.

Wanted to order scone but they don’t have clotted cream so just a hot chocolate for me, unfortunately it’s too sweet, couldn’t drink it at all.

Lovely independent, modern coffee shop. The staff make the environment light and cheerful while keeping professionalism to its highest. Knowledgeable and passionate about the coffee business, and the services they offer. All in all, well worth the visit. Bonus points for the great music.

Coffee at Number 10 is just off the Market Square and is a welcome addition to Ripon’s cafe and coffee shop. It is clean and tidy a nicely furnished in the modern style. We just had coffees, which were full flavoured and excellent and although we didn’t have anything to eat, the doorstep sandwiches and panini waiting to be toasted looked to be well filled and very inviting. Ditto the cake selection - so I reckon we’ll be back !

Oh. My. GOD. Let me tell you about my night at this pub in Knaresborough because, honey, it was an absolute disaster – and not the fun, reality-TV kind. No, this was the kind of drama that would make a telenovela look like a casual tea party. I sauntered in, thinking I was about to have the night of my life – and with this face, why wouldn’t I? The place was cute enough, I’ll give it that, and I thought, “This might actually be fabulous.” But oh no, darling, the universe had other plans. First off, the online ordering system was down. DOWN. In 2024! I mean, I might as well have been trying to send a telegram! The whole point of going to a pub these days is to sip a cocktail while casually tapping away on your phone, right? But noooo. Instead, I had to walk to the bar like some peasant from the 1800s. The nerve! The bar? PACKED. I could feel the wrinkles forming as I waited, endlessly, for someone to notice me. And when they finally did? They had the audacity to act like it was my fault that their ancient system had crumbled. I swear, I was two seconds away from giving them a live performance of “And I Am Telling You” right there. But wait, there’s a twist: the toilets. GORGEOUS. I mean, I walked in and thought I’d been transported to a high-end spa. Marble, mirrors, the lighting was divine—honestly, it was like a little slice of heaven in the middle of this disaster zone. I spent more time in the bathroom admiring the décor than I did actually eating or drinking. Priorities, darling. So, here’s the tea: if you’re after a stunning restroom experience, by all means, swing by. But if you’re hoping for decent service or a smooth ordering process, save yourself the heartbreak. I left hungry, frustrated, but at least with a fabulous selfie from the loo. 1.5 stars – And that’s only because the toilets SLAYED.

Great service. Good selection of food and drinks. Lots of seating but always a bit of a queue when ordering, but it's in the center of town so to be expected

A lovely cosy atmosphere with very pleasant staff. Nicely located in the market place, in Knaresborough. It was my favourite coffee shop - calling in after a day of walking and before I walked back to the caravan site I was staying on.

We recently stopped at Wetherby Drive Thru and were refused service as we had a dog with us. We all know that Costa have recently changed their policies and allow dogs in most coffee shops. Despite sharing the specific branch amenities stating dogs allowed the staff were totally inflexible. Staff should be fully aware of company policies and Costa should update door posters at the same point in time with such changes to avoid ambiguity. Finally staff should not hide behind the fact they are a franchise, branches branded as Costa have identical look and feel and follow same policies otherwise there are inconsistencies which lead to poor customer service and satisfaction.
