Treated myself while on a rare trip to the office. Cheese and tomato toastie was burnt and had the most minuscule amount of cheese in it. Coffee was tepid. Had great expectations but sadly not met. Staff were sweet but one wore his mask under his chin!!!

This place was only ever a coffee kiosk in a launderette. Was great for a takeaway brew but was never a cafe. Closed down now but handy if you want your ironing done!

I tried using several maps, and the cafe's own website, to find this place the other day - but it seems there is a laundromat where the cafe used to be....

Been in here a couple of times now. Really excellent coffee - much better than the high street chains. And those brownies are well worth trying. Nice guys too who care about what they are doing. Definitely going back there.

Popped in for a quick coffee and came away with a cracking experience of high quality coffee, top-notch salted caramel brownie and a warm welcome at a quaint independent coffee house. Definitely going to make the most of this loyalty card!!

Fantastic coffee - honestly the best coffee I've had in Kingston. And friendly service as well... next time I'll have a brownie too - they looked delicious. Thanks!

I really enjoyed my tea and cracking raspberry custard tart this morning at Coffee at #eleven. There was nice friendly chat from the people serving and despite not being a natural coffee drinker I could not resist an espresso on the side. I was amazed at the depth of flavour in the coffee, it was stunning. Back to my Rooibos tea and Portuguese tart - both were great. I had a very nice relaxing break here. How creative are these guys to have set-up a quality coffee experience in such a small place! This was a brilliant find in the Surbiton area. This business deserves to do well. Thanks for a lovely time!

I was driving along Berrylands Road recently heading to Surbiton for coffee with a friend when Coffee at Eleven caught my eye. We pulled into one of the parking spaces opposite and crossed over to the Washtub launderette and ordered from the quirky pop up coffee shop inside. The friendly barista explained the choice of coffee beans from Square Mile Coffee Roasters, whilst quickly making a lovely latte and flat white. We couldn't resist a salted caramel brownie to accompany the coffee. All were absolutely delicious. We sat on the bench in the launderette, where it was warm and quiet and chatted happily, we equally could have stood at the counter or taken the coffee away. Either way, we will go back, the coffee was too good to go elsewhere in future.

The offerings on Berrylands Road are limited to small grocery stores, a pub, and a Chinese take-away, so I was very excited to see Coffee At #eleven appear in the tiny space within the Washtub formerly occupied by a mobile phone store. Coffee At #eleven is a take-away coffee shop. They offer a selection of standard coffees and teas along with various desserts (I didn't try one on this visit, but they look great). Though the prices are equivalent to other coffee shops, I am happy to say that the quality is orders of magnitude better. My latte was excellent and I will definitely be coming back. Here's hoping they get lots of foot traffic, so they can become a permanent fixture in the neighbourhood!

Having grown up 100 meters from Berrylands Road, I was shocked to find that the mobile unlocking booth inside the laundrette had changed.. into a pop-up coffee shop. I can only imagine the owners went to look up Brixton before they noticed the quaintly named suburb where I spent my formative years. Whilst the tiny booth may be.. tiny, this does not stop them from serving fantastic coffee. They use Square Mile coffee beans which, if you consider yourself a coffee snob will know, are absolutely beautiful. The friendly owners made me a flat white (usual £2~ price) and I also bought a brownie (perfectly made). Whilst I can't commend them enough for their bravery in opening a shop such as theirs in this area, I wonder if their brilliance will go unnoticed thanks to their precarious laundrette-placement. Good luck!

Fantastic coffee, brewed by friendly staff, sourced ethically and locally! Greatest coffee to be found in Surbiton, and delicious pastries too.

Placed an order for delivery through uber eats and was missing items. Unacceptable. Won't be doing that again.

Dear Hawkers Bar and Brasserie Team, I’m reaching out to share my thoughts on my visits to your establishment, which have unfortunately left me disappointed despite returning multiple times in hopes of a better experience. On several occasions, I’ve noticed consistent issues, including a lack of beer availability and disengaged service from staff, even senior members. What stood out most during these visits was the lack of engagement—there were no greetings, no warmth, and it often felt as though customers weren’t welcome. Staff frequently prioritized tasks like cleaning cutlery over acknowledging or serving guests, which was both disheartening and unexpected. The atmosphere is beautiful, and I believe Hawkers has so much potential to offer a great experience. However, the shortcomings in service, coupled with the premium prices, lead me to feel that the value doesn’t match the cost. This seems to point to a need for better training and management oversight to ensure the team feels confident delivering top-tier hospitality. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that it helps you identify areas for improvement and allows you to elevate the experience for future visitors.

Service was incredibly slow. One member of staff on duty… and she wasn’t exactly quick with her service.

Came to get a coffee 30 min before closing time and the two members of staff looked like they couldn't wait to close the shop. Waited long time to be aknowledged, the two members of staff (two man) were busy talking. The coffee was so hot that it was impossible to drink it and it didn't taste as good as usual (probably too hot milk changed the taste). Will not be returning to this shop.
