I've been eating my lunch at Coffee and Cream whenever I am working in Carlisle for the past few years and I love it. The jacket potato with cheese savoury is the best I have ever had anywhere and I really appreciate the frendly personal service. Highly recommended.

Excellent afternoon at Beer school. Zoe was the perfect host and was knowledgeable throughout. Really good afternoon with great beer

We went for a couple of drinks before catching the train. Staff were friendly, beer was standard supply, toilets upstairs would be a struggle for anyone with mobility issues to get to. Will probably go again.

Sat in for a few hours doing some work. Had a coffee and veggie sausages sandwich. Later had the lentil and spinach lasagne which came with garlic bread and salad and was very tasty. Service was friendly and prompt throughout. Very reasonable prices which and good value. It was £13 for everything.

Popped in on a Sunday lunchtime for a drink and a snack. Pub was busy with lots of lunch reservations. The upsets had sofas and board games. Very comfortable. Pub has recently been refurbished. A git quirky. Modern, clean and comfortable. Snake we had was great, good drinks. Other food looked great, clearly a popular place to eat.

Good atmosphere with great local band on, but £13 for 2 pints seemed expensive for a local pub and the Keralan chicken curry was watery & tasteless.
