Would definitely recommend! Very quick service, baristas were very friendly. Coffee is very nice, I will definitely be going again!

I’m sitting here having just experienced a lady taking my order, no eye contact, no smile, no please or thank you, and just the minimum words she could use. Consistent in serving all customers in the same manner. What is she doing front of house? Then the coffee production is so slow. Also tables left uncleared. Altogether a very poor experience. Plenty of other much better places to visit. Sunday 24 September 2023 at 4pm.

Very disappointed. Having not visited this particular branch before in Broadmead but a regular to Cafe #1 in Westbury; this cafe was soo disappointing. The queues were long and barely moving. Had to queue up for a good 15-20 minutes as clearly understaffed. Even tho we were sitting in for our coffees and cake, drinks were served in disposable cups with wooden spoons and a cardboard box for the cakes (to save on washing up I'm guessing due to staff shortages). Having sat down a member of staff soon came round the cafe and clised off the downstairs corner where we were seated and also baracadedthe upstairs by putting high chairs to block the stairwell. This said a member of staff, twice rudely pointed at us that thus section was closed, even though we were already seated there and had been for half an hour or more. Staff are under pressure and rude. Teas and coffeess and cakes are mediocre and expensive. Due to aggressive and rude staff I would not recommend this cafe and won't be returning which is such a shame when the one in W-o-T is wonderful.

Visited 14-01.2023 Been a customer here for some time now. Pregnant and asked to use their loo and was told “for customers only”. Pretty disgusting. So you don’t let homeless use the loo either? The world’s gone mad. With a lack of public loos you’d expect public in the area to be able to take a p**s when they need to.

Nothing is never too much for the staff here. You ask - you get. Shame there isn't more seating downstairs. But then it wouldn't have the same cosy feel to it.

Charged £2.90 for a takeout Americano over ice. The most expensive coffee house I’ve been to in Bristol and unfortunately my local. Won’t be coming here again, though. The coffee was not worth the price.

Coffee #1 was the unfortunate (for them) location we chose for an afternoon catch up with friends. We spent a great 3hrs in here having coffee(s), cake and loads of laughs. The servers were very accommodating and the young lad made the best gingerbread latte ever - costa could learn something from him. The atmosphere was fab and the prices reasonable, definitely somewhere I will be returning. Great local coffee shop!

I'm a regular visitor here. Mainly because Coffee #1 does the best coffee but also because it's handy from work. The staff are clearly a great team and are always happy and friendly.

I often visit Coffee #1 in Westbury Village sometimes as often as four times per week, generally the service is prompt and courteous. However having visited recently with my wife and young daughter the young lady had an immediate stand off attitude and made it feel like she wanted to argue with me when I was simply trying to purchase our drinks! Maybe she had simply had a bad day but I feel this shouldn’t reflect in the service towards customers which is generally on the whole good. The coffee is always made and presented to a high standard and the food is generally good. it’s just a shame the customer service has slipped. It was enough to encourage me to write this review and as a consequence I will spend my money in the many other coffee shops in the locality.

Agradable sitio con grandes ventanales por los que entra el sol. Mesas y también sofás. Ideal para desayunar o tomar un café. Personal muy amable!

The best coffee shop in Westbury on Trym village. Staff are brilliant, coffee is great. Just a relaxing place to go for a break from life's humdrum.

Called in early morning - totally ignored by staff who were busy chatting and complaining about lack of £10 notes! After a few minutes I was greeted by a rather surly "yes" - I ordered and collected coffee - sat outside - all tables had overflowing ashtrays and/or left over cups possibly from previous day. Removed ashtray - took cups inside and asked for cloth to wipe down table - given napkin - girls went back to chatting! Coffee is very good and generally the chain is better than this - but will not be back - there are far too many coffee shops to have to accept this level of service.

Without a shadow of doubt, this coffee shop is in a class of its own. The coffee is consistently delightful, as are the staff. I strongly encourage all who venture here to try their popping crispies cake, as they are lip-smackingly delicious. To summarise, it might just be the best cup of coffee in Bristol.

Lately been fed up of going to the other "big two" coffee chains, I decided to go to this new chain. The coffee is great, making me feel I have missed out as have always visited the other 2 chains most of the time. The cakes are great, not dry and the staff were chatty and inviting.

Love this coffee chain. One of the best new chains out there, glad we have it on our doorstep! Recommended!

La cara aceptable de la cultura de la cafetería, siempre fue muy cálido y amable, con un buen café a un precio razonable y un ambiente local relajado. Encuentro el servicio bastante promedio en estos días desde que la excelente administración anterior se mudó hace unos 18 meses. A menudo hay colas frustrantemente largas debido en gran parte a la falta de personal. También está comenzando a verse con una verdadera necesidad de lamer pintura. Es una pena para aquellos de nosotros que preferiríamos no dar nuestro dinero a Costa y las otras grandes franquicias, pero en estos días a menudo me voy a otro lado.

Have been here multiple times and have enjoyed our visits each time. Staff have been nice and efficient and our food never takes long to get up to us. The drinks are pleasant and the food is tasty.

Came here with my mum for a quick coffee. Recommend the vanilla latte and the Portuguese custard tarts are to die for . Staff were friendly. Very busy so this probably explains the large amount of dirty tables. Recommended for a good coffee.

A diferencia de los otros establecimientos en el pueblo, es un lugar agradable para tener café tranquilamente. El personal siempre dispuesto a ayudar y educado. Buena variedad de bebidas y bocadillos con unos especiales. No es el lugar de elección para la familia joven, que juego por mí está muy bien. Sigan con el buen trabajo.

Lo que me limité a este lugar fue el elevado número de personal que parecían ocupados, pero la cola era todavía largo, la espera fue largo y el éxito servicio y perderse.

Great place to have a tempting cake and a coffee. The staff very friendly. Often very busy but always a wonderful selection of coffee. Very clean and wholesome.

Friendly welcoming staff. Warm cosy atmosphere. Nothing too much trouble. And most importantly great coffee. But do try the Classic veggie juice a real pick me up.

Llegamos tarde vimos 4 personal detrás de la barra y a sólo 2 clientes frente a nosotros, así que espera a esperar un poco. Casi 10 minutos más tarde, finalmente conseguimos sirve - no sé lo que el personal en realidad haciendo.

Gran café. Como un Starbucks no disfuncional. Me gustaría ir allí más, pero no puedo.

Necesitábamos el almuerzo antes de asistir a una boda en la tarde en Westbury, y que había sido anteriormente en nuestra sucursal local para el café, y nos gustó. Esta sucursal es bastante pequeña, y estaba muy caliente y húmedo. La comida estaba bien, pero no había nada que no era pan, la cual no adecuado para mí, era un caso de hacer.

Busy little coffee house, you may have to queue but it's worth it, coffee is good and a good selection of cakes etc. Staff are friendly and go as fast as they can.

Otro puesto fronterizo de la rápida expansión café #1 cadena, este hotel está situado en el corazón de Westbury Village en lo que a la vez Terry Pájaro centro Bang & Olufsen. Tenía ganas de probar, no menos porque yo solía trabajar aquí hace muchos años, así que estaba interesado en ver cómo se había cambiado.
