Not been open long so clean tidy and quiet-looked too quiet but decided to give it a try and not disappointed! Good food generous portions & reasonably priced

From the vibrant front theme, great tasting food and incredibly friendly staff, this place is a gem in Acton. The atmosphere had a buzz about it and the restaurant was immaculate. I enjoyed some fresh traditional food and went away full & happy. Thumbs up, will go back next time in Acton.

Tasty food that is prepared in front of you. Do not expect amazing service, or decor - but hey the food is really cheap and very tasty. My place for lunch when in the area.

The most homely five star experience. Such friendly staff which I think is a family run business. I fall short of words to describe how delicious it is . I’ve tried nearly every dish. My favourite hands down would be the pork kao pad kra prow . Only order it if you can handle spicy ( this coming from a person who likes eating plain chilly) . Do not hesitate to try the jasmine, sticky rice and green Thai curry. The decent pricing only makes you want to revisit.

I had the kao pad kra prow tofu and shared the tofu tod with my boyfriend. He had the draw pad thai and he enjoyed his meal. I did find the tofu dish a little expensive for what it's worth; 7.50 for a vegetarian meal is a little pricey.

We recently spent 4 days in the Acton area as tourists and were on a budget. In our exploration of the area we discovered Coconut Thai restaurant. How delighted we were to be welcomed inside a cosy location where the food is prepared fresh only a few feet away from you in the kitchen over sizzling clanging woks. How can you beat authentic Thai hospitality and cooking? Our meals were served piping hot and not overwhelming in their spicyness but tantalizing in their flavours. I’m sure the chefs cater to a more tame UK palette and for us it was perfect. Fragrant and delicious. We were dreaming about the food all the way to Canada. I hope we get to visit again one day. And if you want super hot, just ask them to turn up the heat. They desire to please in every way.

It's a very basic kind of place and I have to say doesn't look attractive through the window - no table cloths, groceries piled up on the bar, an elderly lady preparing vegetables at one of the tables, kids' toys here and there. Not professional-looking. But OK, I thought to myself, I've had some pleasant surprises with this kind of thing before and this looks like it could do some wicked home-style Thai! Service was polite and attentive and I ordered Hot and Spicy Soup, Singapore Noodles and Crispy Sea Bass all of which was cooked from fresh so I was looking forward to a good evening meal. Not quite, unfortunately. The sea bass was milder than I'm used to and possibly a bit overdone and the soup was very much not spicy, although tasty and minty, but definitely no fire. A stream of take-away regulars seemed content enough, but bland is the word I'd use to describe the experience. Price-wise, you'd have paid about the same amount in the commonly considered more upmarket neighbouring area of Chiswick and with a choice of numerous really good Thai restaurants you'd have had an excellent fish and much better value for money. The bill comes with service charge if you eat in. Benefit of the doubt - this may be a reasonable take away depending on what you order, but a 'restaurant' it certainly ain't.

It's my first review on Just Eat and it's just a reminder to myself NOT to order from here again. Ever! The food was terrible. The only seasoning on the pad thai was chili - which is not even mentioned on the description. The few pieces of chicken were tasteless and appeared (as did the few vegetables) to have been cooked separately from the rest of the dish and only put together when ordered. It didn't have any sauce at all. The stir fry was so good that it went to the dust bin, together with most of the pad thai... The 12 pounds platter no more than store bought party size fried bits... My worst order ever! (just order from Singapore Garden and don't waste your money here!!)

I placed the order in coconut Thai first time I gave it a shot even though not all the reviews were good. Here is my own: soups were lovely, pad thai not to bad (Maybe a Bit more nuts and maybe some more Green stuff were missing) , delivery came on time Will definitely try again

very undercooked batter on battered vegetables. sooo soggy with floury smell and taste, very greasy I had to use kitchen roll to get rid of the grease. sitting in a puddle of grease in the container which made them even more soggy! massaman curry like water, with paper thin slices of chewy beef which were grey and wrinkly, very off putting. cling film on the outside AND inside if everything which gave everything a plasticy smell and taste, again... extremely off putting. very disappointing, worst Thai food I've ever had

I enjoyed my visit, this is mainly a takeaway operation with constant scooter riders arriving to collect deliveries, however, there are a few tables and you can eat in. This is not a normal restaurant, it is basically the front room of a busy Thai home. There are staff cutting veg and watching TV at other tables, you can see straight into the kitchen, the staff themselves are very friendly although there are some language barriers, we didn't get what we ordered but that somehow didn't seem to matter, the food was ok, there are weird pictures and trinkets everywhere, basically if you are looking for something a but quirky this will work well.

Lovely food, arrived nice and hot and very tasty. Delivery was unexpectedly early which was a big bonus as I didn't have to wait long to enjoy it!

Had high hopes after seeing reviews. However, Food was not nice at all - tasteless and oily yuck! even the prawn crackers. Will stick to my normal thai restaurant next time.

As someone who regularly orders Thai I can say this is by far the worst Thai I've ever had. Half of both the curries I ordered were watery,not thick like it should be and most of the duck in the Pad Thai was just skin and FAT. I'm not one to complain as I have worked in the food industry for 15 years and understand that these things happen,but when I called the restaurant to ask for a possible replacement all I got from the lady was "we've never had complaints so what can I do for you?" So not only was the food disgusting,the customer service was appauling,not even an apology or any possible solution to rectify the issue. I will never use this take away again. Good luck continuing to trade when you treat your customers this way.

Nice Thai curry, pad Thai noodles very spicy and be warned the noodles are extra (oddly?)

I really really wanted to love this place - and at around £46.00 for 2 people I was sure the food mus be good. Sadly it was all rather disappointing. The Pad Thai was by far and away the best dish and the restaurant kindly made it a prawn and chicken rather than just prawn for me. The actual flavour of the other dishes wasn't too bad albeit that the red curry was somewhat bland and pale looking and they used normal basil rather than Thai holy basil, which totally changes the flavour profile of the dishes. The word part was the minuscule portion sizes, laden with onion and pepper to fill, hardly any meat to speak of and what little meat there was, was dry and incredibly tough: it almost gave the impression the food had been cooked and then reheated in a microwave. The starters platter was also disappointing- more flaccid and flabby than crisp and tasty and the prawn toast had a very unpleasant sour taste to it. All in all not a good experience (which is a shame with such friendly staff)- I won't be ordering again!

Food was fantastic, arrived when indicated. Delivery driver was lazy and rude, despite clearly instruction claimed unable to find door, insisted I came out onto the street, I did only to find him standing outside the door, which is clearly marked and numbered. Appeared as though he was unwilling to take up to a single flight of stairs...gave the order over without a word and left

Did not think the food was worth the money. The green curry was extremely watery, so looked like a soup rather than a curry. The rice was delicious, but £6 for vegetable rice in high sight is completely over priced. However the platter for two was very delicious, so would recommend avoiding the curry and just getting the platter.

I always order from this restaurant and it's the same result each time: prompt delivery, great tasting food that's good value for money.

Service was fast. Food tasted good although curry portion was very small. Two people could not share one curry dish. Dumplings were especially good.

Not good. We know genuine Thai food. How does a Thai restaurant offer Cod as a special and drown it in sweet chilli sauce and that's it?? For almost £10? And call it a "special"?? Ridiculous.

Collected from the store but then I find out it is not what I ordered. Wrong food! I ordered Pad Thai but this is different noodles. I can't bother to go back and change it.

They charged me for delivery even though it says free delivery over £15. My order was £35. Also the delivery guy had issue finding my address which was very easy to find thus as the result my food was not hot enough.

Terrible quality chicken and duck was just fat- no meat. Really disappointed. Will never order from here again. Delivery was 20 mins early and he left order in the porch.

Super quick delivery! Food delivered in less than 15 minutes even though it said that it would arrive in an hour. Curry dishes were amazing but the tom yum soup was a little disappointed as there were only 3 prawns in it. Overall it was still good, would definitely reorder again.

The only thing I would say is that sometimes the portions can be different sizes. 90% the same but there's 1 dish every now and again that has less in. Apart from that, amazing!

We stumbled upon this quaint and homely styled restaurant few months ago, this has being my second visit. The staff is polite and all smiles. The lady who is also the chef brought our food from the kitchen straight to us on the table (very homely!) Wine selection is good, all major names in red, white and rosé. Major south East Asian beers like Singha and Tiger are served. And the food is an easy 10 for me. Our green curry chicken was the right amount of spicy, we got white sticky rice on the side. We also got the prawn tempura(crunchy on the outside soft on the inside - perfection) and a hot mushroom soup as starters. Lastly a prawn fried rice. All in all a beautiful meal. Unfortunately they didn't have desserts (only ice cream, so we skipped) Highly recommended restaurant for a relaxed homely authentic Thai experience :)

Although the delivery time was excellent, the food quality was poor. Very watery sauces when advertised as creamy, meat quality (beef) was terrible etc. We spent over £20 and still had a delivery charge and there was no free item such as prawn crackers thrown in. We won't be ordering from here again.

Really quick delivery and amazing food! I called before ordering to ask about the rice portions and I was told that they were individuals, which they're not. One portion was enough for me and my husband and the other one had to be wasted. Apart from that, 5 stars!

Really fast delivery. Wanted to like it so much but Tom Sum was inedible, had to throw away. The papaya was like hard rubber. I couldn't chew through it. The Larb Gai was OK and the Tom Kha was so watery and not creamy (was missing lime). I put a tiny bit of chilli paste in mine. Disappointing waste of money but maybe other dishes are OK.

Lovely Green Curry. Delicious flavours. Only grumble is that good was warm and not hot. That may be down to delivery driver. Will definitely order again. Thank you!

Good food but delivery person really let it down. I specially wrote instructions on where our address was and the delivery still managed to go to the wrong address and then had the nerve to try and argue about it with me! Poor understanding of what customer service means.

We order from here a lot because the food is great, but unfortunately the service let us down this time. The delivery time was estimated at 9.25pm, and I got a call at 8.56pm from the delivery guy saying he was waiting in the car park and the takeaway was ready. I explained that the estimated time wasn't until 9.25pm and I wouldn't be able to get there until around 5 past 9 as I was still working. He was very rude on the phone and when I received the food from him in the car park I was friendly and said hello - he didn't say a word, just shook his head in disgust. A real shame as we do like the food, but if a takeaway is going to be delivered half an hour early then there needs to be some warning.

The rudest delivery driver I have ever encountered. He refused to deliver the food to my doorstop even though I paid £2 just for delivery. After I refused to go and collect my order, he realised he had no choice but to come as I hadn’t paid. This didn’t stop him from huffing and puffing and making it clear that he was doing me the “favour”. I couldn’t even get through to the restaurant to complain as they don’t answer the phone. All of this and the food turned out to be just ok!

I'm ordering often from you guys, I live at 388 Western Avenue, W30PL. Even though I really love your food, lately I found your service quite disappointing. Let me explain: there is a driver that refuses to deliver the food directly to our door because he says the footpath that leads to our house is too dangerous to walk at night time. He then parks on the back road and calls me asking ME to come and collect the food. This happened already a few times, always with the same driver. Living in is area I always walk at nighttime coming home and I absolutely can assure than the road is safe. If I pay for a delivery I expect the food to be delivered directly to my home, and I''m not supposed to come and collect it from the driver.

Great Thai green/red curry! Highly recommended!

Good timing but food was horrible. Beef curry said it would not be creamy but ended up being water + oil based as a sauce. The tempura prawn was in a horrendous batter brown in colour reminding you of a fish and chips order from a horrible chip shop around the corner from you house. Plain jasmine rice was received steamy and sticky. If you know your Thai food in London you know you love it- you will also know to stay away from this one... even though quick it was a disgrace attempting to consume it.

Satay chicken tasted like it had been microwaved. Didn't enjoy the main. Delivery was good time.

We use this restaurant all the time as we love the food but today was incredibly disappointing. My boyfriend had gang Penang and it literally had hardly any vegetable swimming in thin sauce. It was shocking. Definitely made us think about using them again which is a shame as we've been using them and recommending them for over a year.

I'm not sure what's happened, but the food standard is not the same as it used to be. Twice now the Tom Yum hasn't been its usually amazing taste. Such a shame, as they still have fantastic delivery times and service.

We really liked the prawn massaman. It was delicious. I found the Gang Dang red curry a bit mild and bland.

Red chicken curry was full of chicken but had zero flavour, didn't taste of curry at all. Tofu Pad Priew Waan also completely flavourless. Will not order from this restaurant again.
